      Thank you Lisa! Unfortunately the media does its job perfectly; only few people can "fairly" judge when enormous amount of propaganda spread, but seems that you've not being fooled... :) Just look at the US allies' behaviors in the middle east (in a long or mid-term period) to recognize who's right and who's killing innocents. If it had been to help human rights, these double standards wouldn't be applied in the US treatments! Of course becoming a decent democratic government needs decades of stability and efforts, and no one should compare a government built based on its own people revolution with those of Europe countries which had been far from war for decades. If you compare Iran with its surrounding countries (e.g. Saudi Arabia, UAE, ...) has off better democracy. I'm not saying it's perfect, 'cause it's not... but the world should be even handed in this case... it's a peaceful Nation which hadn't start any war for centuries, however have been attacked many times...

      Bruno did you go In Gaza and live there ? I did for few years about 3 months per year. Gaza it’s a high class open jail If you see the real situation in the ground you will not say the same. They fight. That’s true but they have intifada for years and few time ..... hamas it’s a party which drive. Hezbollah also same via Lebanon. Created in that bloody 17 years civil war in Lebanon against Israel Which put a big tail on it. So all appears for a good reason Ask your self why? The real terrorist groups should be recognize by many countries. This two are terrorist groups for Israel and USA when the other country’s recognize them as a political party or faction. PKK in Turkey are see as terrorist but in Syria are as a faction and much new as a political entity with separatist thoughts !

    • @luci75d76
      @luci75d76 6 лет назад

      Bruno it’s hard to understand when a politician speak in a very polite manner and very diplomatic . To give you one example look at the speeches made by Trump against Iran ( using words of bad manner , mostly using the word “regime “. or aggressive words to leadership or the way Iranian legislative manage their country ) Anyhow see the words this guy he use when he talk about USA and see what trump speak about Iran. Just see this no need to see for more things ! What Iran support USA will never like ever. We need to go back to 1959 or 63 “‘ or 1979 then you will find the real reason why USA don’t like Iran - because they lose so much face and they can never recover ......

    • @afsanehpetrofsky
      @afsanehpetrofsky 6 лет назад

      luci78 Cozma you need to understand that the Islamic culture has this HATE towards Jews since the birth of Islam in Medina . 14000 years ago , 700 Jews were beheaded in one day because they refused to convert to Islam . Whenever we, as human beings stop our hate towards each other and our religious beliefs, all wars will stop . When the Jews came to Palestine , they wanted to live side by side and develop a country that was mostly desert and their farmers, engineers and doctors began developing a very backward Palestine where all Palestinians were living in tents and didn’t have agriculture and technology . The Jews offered to buy their land and they sold them to Jews . They shouldn’t have . They should have lived side by side . It’s been 70 years since the Jews migrated to Palestine . Don’t you think it’s about time they find peace ? Israel isn’t going away and Palestinians aren’t going away . These two have created chaos and instability in the Middle East for 70 years. Enough already

    A small piece of Iranian history I've never forgotten, learned from Kate Millet's book GOING TO IRAN. Millet was there supporting the women's movement at a conference when the Shah was deposed. She tells of the mass marches, led by secular, mostly women. She mentions the urban men joining hands to protect the women from what she referred to as "unemployed" men brought from the countryside who were attacking the women. And she mentions that IMMEDIATELY upon the Shah leaving the country, France flew the Ayatollah into Iran from his long exile in France. And that pretty much killed the movement the actually got rid of the Shah. All studiously ignored by the Western press. Now why do you suppose that was?

    i think people are a bunch of sheep, all the way from USA to Afghanistan. Mr. Rouhani himself might not be bad, but you can never see all of the realities. so don't just simply judge by an interview. afghan refugees in Iran a while ago weren't allowed to go to university. some of them lived for 25 years without a chance for citizenship, in some banners they compared afghans with dogs that can't go to certain parks, so many poor refugees in construction sector were cracked down, some of them were pushed from rooftops and while had broken limbs, they were deported to Afghanistan. there are some positive stuff about them, particularly Iran's security in a volatile region is commendable. overall many positive but so many negative stuff about them. as a human, i am not in favor of sanctions, because if someone is bad, it doesn't mean you should be bad too.

    • @massjr7374
      @massjr7374 6 лет назад

      FR...Do you mean that if Afghans would go to Saudi Arabia they would let them be citizens there?? Your statement partially is not true bro! I know some Afghans got Iranian citizenship, but what do you expect from a country which is itself at an economic war and was for 8 years at military war in past?? Iran is not in EU or North America to allow immigrants easily come, instead, most of the Afghans living in Iran have ILLEGALLY entered! Though I know a legal immigrant studying in a famous university in Tehran without any problem... Please avoid saying false info...I've lived in many different countries and must say that each country has its own laws and can't compare them to each other in this way bro...

    • @fr5640
      @fr5640 6 лет назад

      Dear Mr. Massoud, well, i have lived in Iran for well over 12 years, even though i have some nice friends there but I've seen racism and discrimination firsthand, so those comments are based on some facts, on the other hand, you are somewhat right as well, now even though i live in Australia and their treatment of refugees is much better but still there are pockets of racism and discrimination present. my remarks were based on some facts, but i know there are some very nice people live in Iran who pay the ultimate price of economic pressure and sanctions. i'm sure you understand there are lots of corruption, money laundering and embezzlement present among top Iranian officials and institutions. whether there are sanctions or not, i don't think ordinary people's situation change at all. apart from my personal feelings, i am not in favor of sanctions against any country in a way that ordinary people suffer. best of luck for those who are truly good people and i hope the current global situation changes for the better.

    • @massjr7374
      @massjr7374 6 лет назад

      Yeah, you're right in some extend. But the pressure the people bear is not only from the financial corruption, of course the sanction has a significant weight on the people's shoulder. And now, as I can directly see, 'cause my family live there, it's gonna break the people's back! it's not a joke! None of the ordinary people can transfer any money to even neighboring countries! You cannot have planes to substitute with depreciated ones in the airlines, so if you'd experienced a domestic flight in Iran you would change your statement about the sanctions. Let me don't say about the medicine drugs and automative technology... yes the government's top officials are not financially clean, but it's not only them to suffer from it, in many cases you can see they even misuse sanctions to coin money! So the sanction is useless but a leverage to make people more rebel against the government. Just it!

    The Iranian people are desperate for the freedoms they once had. The freedoms that were stripped away from them once Islamic law took over the country. The Iranian government should focus on the countless issues the Iranian citizens are facing regularly, rather than funding wars in other countries. For example, the Iranian water crisis, the immensely high unemployment rate amongst the youth, etc…Iranian women would do anything to have even half of the freedoms that American and Israeli women have. Why is the government imposing religious restrictions on those who do not wish to follow? As an Iranian who does not live in Iran, my heart breaks for the youth who desperately seek to be free from religious law.

      First off leave Iran alone, quit meddling in their affairs, it's not your business. To obtain freedom. If you are an American then you are not free either and the Saudis have no freedom, go meddle there.

I want from kind american people that ask from their president to stop sanctions , we are tired after 8 years war with Iraq , we are tired about all happening in our country, we want deeply peace and quiet life with our neighbors , we don’t cooperate with regime for any war , Israel must not to worry about mightily war ....do you ever seen any trorrist from Iran? Iran (the cradle of civilisation - depending on which view of history you favour) is ruled by a theocracy as a result of previous US and UK policies. Saudi Arabia is ruled by a family business. The USA (including John Bolton and Rudi Guliani, who have been filmed backing terrorists groups like the MEK and the AHK) aim to overthrow the Iranian regime. It was the USA that deposed the Shah and helped install the Ayatollah. Iran is being punished for being inconvenient and not giving up its resources. Haley and Trump at the UN said that Iran inspires and supports terrorism, forgetting the USA's interventions in many states, causing havoc and the deaths of millions. The pot calling the kettle black. The Iran-Iraq war..who funded that, who gained? Iranians I speak to are not keen on their rulers but prefer them to a regime change supported by the USA and the MEK. Hypocrisy - talking of which Iran's support for Assad with Putin. Assad is a tyrant, the people who he calls terrorists are freedom fighters in any other context. I look forward to Trump and Mr Rouhani having a serious talk. Maybe Trump would get a real estate deal, Trump Tower in Persepolis as well as Moscow..
