I’m trialing a pair of 9040s now. These are my first hearing aids and I’ve only had them two weeks. Went into Costco yesterday because the earpiece was too painful and not really working. When I left it felt like I was wearing new hearing aides. The fitter changed the domes and it made a huge difference.
FYI the external casing of the 9040 is not like the Otocon. Instead it is identical to the Bernafon, a sister brand. The insides I believe are Otocon. Definitely not Bernafon.

Thanks for sharing! Glad you got domes that work better for you. That can make a world of difference.

What about the custom in the ear products? I understand they are based on the 9030 platform. Have you heard if they have any intent to upgrade that platform?
