  • After a park up in the van the night before at Kingsbarns beach car park we started the 8 mile walk from Kingsbarns to St Andrews and caught the 95 bus back to the van.
We enjoyed a Summer Solstice night in the van with the barn doors open until well after 11pm.
The following morning we walked the 6 miles from Kingsbarns to Crail and caught the 95 back to the van.
Another 2 sections of the Fife Coastal Path done.

That was indeed lovely, I've only stayed in Arbroath once & enjoyed it all. If you get a bit further south, I shall call you "Alexandra Selkirk". Thanks for posting.

Lovely video. Makes walk look very inviting. I think you made right choice. - Fife coast in sun beats Bridge of Orchy in a thunderstorm any day.

The rock, the smaller part looks like a thin faced man wearing a hat or cap, see what you think 😆

Another lovely video, Linda. I’ve done a few sections of the Fife Coastal Path too, including the two you did in this video. I too was amazed at the Buddo Rock - couldn’t stop photographing it! There are some fantastic rock formations all along the Fife coast. If you do the section between Crail and St Monans, you’ll see the Caiplie Caves which are just phenomenal. The colours are stunning. Lovely as always to see wee Brora having a ball, running around the beach like a daftie! What a joy she is and obviously pretty tired at the end! Keep them coming, Linda. A joy as always. Kathleen

Many thanks for your uploads, Linda. I spent 13 ears of my 20 year RAF career at the major RAF bases then in operation in Scotland (Leuchars, Kinloss and Lossiemouth) and fell in love with Scotland (the Hebredies bieng my preference) and have seen most of it! I used to do many sections of the FCP most weekends. Those beautiful fishing villages are just spectacular and timlessly unique. Are Ma Brown's Tea Rooms still open in St Andrews? Thanks for the lovelly memories of 1993- 98 at Leuchars in beautiful Fife. Incidental, it is worth a trip to the Isle of May espcially to see the sheer abundance of Puffins that nest and live there! Leuchars village is well worth a visit, especially for St Athernase church. Lastly, it may be an idea to keep your dog on a tight leash when negotiating tricky terraine!

Thanks Garry, glad the videos have brought back memories of your time in the RAF. Fife has a stunning coastline that even surprised me, I wasn’t expecting it to be so beautiful. I also love the Hebrides. I still have 2 sections of the FCP to do & looking forward to it. Thanks for the recommendation to visit The Isle of May, I’ll add it to my ‘to do’ list. Thanks again for watching. 👍

@@LindaOutdoors Your life style is exactly what me and my wlfe have in mind when we are freed from the shackels of work! I am a duel citizen so still have a British passport. Eight years until I turn 62 and can get US Social Security (if there will be any) savings and my RAF pension will allow us to travel around quite well living the simple life.......in an electic camper van though 🤔🤔🤔....NO!😂. Are you retired and what did/do you do or are you making a living from YT and your very good work? Skye, and Uist are my faves!! PS: Thanks for making me feel very home sick. I settled in Hopeman (a lovelly village on the Moray Coast) when I rentered the real world..things did not work out for me and here I am as an American.....bizare!!! Thanks again!

@@garryharriman7349 I’m a retired nurse but enjoy working the odd shift at a visitor attraction. Keeps me busy. I certainly don’t make a living from RUclips, it’s just a hobby that motivates me to get out and explore new places. Good luck for your retirement I can recommend the campervan lifestyle, it’s fantastic. 🤩

@@LindaOutdoors Especially wild camping in non regulated areas such as Skye, Lewis and Harris where I went a lot in my van. You can pull of the side of the road anywhere and not be charged a penny and, more or less, be quite safe. We hope to spend the Uk summers in Scotland and come back to our home in South Carolina for the Summers here and spend them in our 30 foot motorhome. Saving the pennies like a true Scott! 😂. PS, many thanks for your hard work and dedication to your profession and the NHS. I studied for a HNC in Health Care in 1998 in Cupar! The more I see of the UK as of late, I feer US style health 'insurance' is on it's way to England for sure....the NHS has been seruptitioisly and incrimentally sent down the road of privitization by successive goverments for decades. Let's hope NHS Scotland resists! Enjoy your wondeful retirment. Br safe! Best wishes.
