Glencoe: A Rainy Day Spent in The Glen

The 2nd full day of our campervan trip to the Glencoe area saw us wake up to rain. We enjoyed a walk around Glencoe Lohan, visited the Glencoe Monument and spent some time in the NTS Visitor Centre.
The Glen is truly beautiful in all weathers.

Thanks for another great video Linda 😀 Took me right back to when I stayed for two weeks at the caravan site next to the visitor centre. Walked my dog Skye every day in the woods surrounding the area. Even walked the forest track all the way to the top to climb Meall Mór one day. Later climbed Pap of Glencoe, which we see from the turf house in your video. And went into the Hidden Valley in wind and rain. Climbed Beinn a' Chrulaiste and the 'wee' Buachaille. Ticked off my first Munro - Stob Dubh. Oh that was on the second attempted day. On the first one, which had nice weather, I was a bit "under the weather" and decided it might be better just to walk from Kinlochleven to the Blackwater Reservoir and back 😉

Thanks so much Karl. I’ve stayed in that site a few times too. I like the fact there’s a wee path leads you down to the village. I’ve done the surrounding walks you mentioned but not been up Meall Mor. Need to add that one to the list. Thanks for watching. 🙏
