Hi Steve, Alicja you two are amazing, putting yourselves through all that again for us lot. I am sure we all appreciate it. As always Steve what a fantastic stream really enjoyed it in a good way honest lol.
Safe travels to you both as always.
Haha cheers Brian from us both! :D
I just happened to stumble across this video. I have lived in Newburgh for over 10 years... welcome!
Good job guys, Awesome content! 🤙🏼
Steve : “No detours today”
Also Steve: “Oh look it has steps up inside”
Well done both you guys! Always through the Coast between Crail and St Andrews as been boring, oh how I was wrong! Go have to go explore seen as it’s on the doorstep ! I do love Tentsmuir, AND THOSE CREPES?!?! 😂 take my dogs up there often!Gorgeous in any weather. Thanks again Steve!
Haha cheers mate! I'd have loved Tentsmuir if it wasn't my toughest day :O
@@steve-marsh to be fair…The beach is nicer than the forest. Thank again guys! You’ve inspired me and my wife to go exploring the Fife coast again!
RESPECT! To the both of you. And now rest for the feet. Thank you for this epic journey. Greetings from the Netherlands
And NZ
Cheers guys! All the best from us both!
Congratulations on finishing that trek Steve and Alicia. Gotta say that looked brutal at times but well done for seeing it through to the end. Much respect to you both.
Thanks so much Bob from us both! Aye, it was really tough at times, but worth it in the end :)
Fife council should really give the coastal path a much needed overhaul, some of it as absolutely treacherous. Fantastic effort guys that is some trek!
Just watched p1 n p2, epic, just need to get those trainers n socks sorted, oh your poor feet, ❤👏👏
Holy cow! You are both intrepid (and a little crazy 😂) Thanks for carrying us along. How much weight did you lose? The Fife Coastal Diet. LOL! Thank you.❤
Well done the pair of you, great videos 👍🏴
Well done guys you made it 👍 it was wonderful I loved it.
Also walking all those miles AND talking while you film is extra tiring. You did well 🙋
Newport on Tay ... my birthplace! The yellow castle! I was born in Netherlea Hospital along the road a bit from there. Last time we visited it was closed down and they were getting ready to demolish to make way for luxury flats! Loved this marathon walk. Well done.
Huge well done to you both and made it so entertaining, my Great grandfather was a passenger on the last train to get over the old bridge imagine if he’d missed it I wouldn’t be here look forward to the next adventure
No way David - that's crazy!!! Wow!
WOW what a walk!!! you guys can walk! hands down bar none! ♥+♥= 💯
Ah been looking forward to this, felt bad for Alicja in the last vid give her a hug :)
Thanks so much from us both :)
Y'all did a great job plugging away till you made it. It would take me forever because I would have to stop and pet all of the farm critters.
This is an ordeal I would never undertake. Thank you for working so hard to deliver those glimpses of lovely coastal scenery--and colorful pigs! Hope your own "piggies" are recovering from their blisters.
Haha just about Susan! :) Was great to see those wee fellas! :)
I am looking forward to watching all your videos of the Fife coastal path. I am hoping to go in October. I live in the United States - my last name is Dall. My Great Great Grandfater immigrated to Cicago from Newburgh in the 1850s - his name was David Dall. He and his sons were sailors and captains on ships on the Great Lakes. My first name is Lincoln, the same name as the youngest of his sons. I am so excited about hiking the Fife coastal path as a part of my heritage. Thanks ago for the vidoes - I am going to watch them all in great detail. Oh, one interesting fact - I am a Catholic priest in the United States.
Thank you so much for sharing and I'm wishing you a wonderful trip 'home' :)
You guys are MIGHTY! Wow! What a feat. And your poor feet. 💯💫
Steve & Alicja,, I am so so proud of you both .What an epic trek you undertook .You both suffered a lot and poor ol Alicja ,what a soldier .
Steve ,where did you find her .?Dont let her go .You both did the walk so i dont have to .Bless you both .See you both on the next Vlog
Well done you two
Epic stuff - what a 2-parter. Pretty epic editing to bring all that together too! Nice one! 😀
Cheers Roger! You'll appreciate what a task it is with an sd card full of clips eh!? :)
Congratulations, well done the both of you . You would be a good role model for children Steve, teaching them to say 'thank you to everyone'. The more you say it, the more the world gives you occasions to be thankful.
Thanks so much Victor! Oh, I just said it again :D
Congrats on getting to end mate. Loved your hideous little owl. I watch through TV so enjoy bigger picture.
Loved it! What a great walk, and I ne'er got one blister here in my comfy chair. Enjoyed the banter between the two of you. Enjoyed the brief
negativity that got swept away with your celebrations moments later. Enjoyed the great scenery! Even enjoyed the pigs!
Thanks John, this was one on the list for ages, glad we finally got round to it although we could have been better prepared :D
Oh well done! I had to watch pt 2 & it's now 3am haha. Good for you, both! fab video as always. x
all I can say is Well Done, I agonised with you towards the end.
Congratulations on getting to the finish Steve and Alicja, it was wonderful to enjoy vicariously the beauty of Fife.
Thanks so much from us both for coming along :)
No typhoons steve !!! Nothing now there right enough i never missed a show thank you mr liam fox !!
Thank you both SO much!! ...
Never would've seen this.. 💕
I said the first Fife Coast video was a brilliant video well this one is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT I used to visit my aunt and uncle in St Andrews and loved the area 👍 thanks Steve and Alicjia
Cheers James :)
Living in America I’ve enjoyed watching both parts of this epic walk. Thanks for bringing me along. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Did this walk about 8 years ago and were blessed with glorious weather. It helped my fear of heights. So many hills and steps. My dog loved it! Watching your journey brought back happy memories 😊
Oh we always wish we had a dog when we do walks, I'm sure they absolutely love it!
@@steve-marsh they do but she also kept finding smelly things to roll in and we had to keep dipping her in the sea lol The worst I remember was as we approached Elie. She'd found a dead seagull and was very proud of herself. The beach in Elie was packed with sunbathers too. We were mortified 😂
Hi Steve and Alicja. Great video thanks for sharing. Looks like a very hard hike with all those miles. Thanks again!!
YOUS ARE A Inspiration to us all to get out there more OFTEN and keep FIT, KEEPING HEALTHY SHOULD BE EVERY ONES MOTIVATION. RESPECT TO YOUS BOTH, ML3-HAMILTON
Thanks so much! A big chunk of our motivation and inspiration comes from comments like yours!
Tremendously well done, inspirational 😁. And wee Alicjia, what a trooper!!
Thanks so much Dave! :)
especially if the weather does you favors, I feel the last bit of the path can be really peaceful & beautiful to be on... it is certainly tiring if you do the whole thing, but that is more a question of energy versus what one wishes to accomplish... having done this section as part of a much shorter weekend trek (starting at the University Campground in Saint-Andrews), I actually really enjoyed it... Trekked the southerly of this coast separately from Queensferry as far as Crail, but never did the middle bit
Remarkable Steve .. exposing yourselves to such torture. 😆
My dad used to take me to the air shows at L can't spell it! I went up in a helicopter for the first time I think I was 8yr old. Great video 😊❤
I actually celebrated a little as soon as the Finish Line came into shot. Well done to the both of you!!! Rest well, and take it easy. You both deserve it! :)
Thanks Graeme from us both! That finish line was tricky to find! :)
Thank you for taking us along on this epic trail. You two are absolutely brilliant! Alicja, I am so sorry that you had such a struggle with blisters. You are such a good sport! Steve, you are a BEAST! I am in awe of you and your beautiful country! Keep the videos coming!
Thanks so much from us both! You guys keep us going for sure :)
Congratulations! I was brought up on a farm on the Fife coast so I really enjoyed this. Thank you.
What a journey! Congratulations to you both for a feat (feet) of strength and determination!
Thanks Kerry! It was a tough one!
Great posting. Well done guys.
I live in Ravenscraig Kirkcaldy and about 12years ago. I walked from Dysart to Elie with three pub stops. Took nearly 8 hours. Nice seeing bits of Fife that l have not seen before.
Well done to you both! Thanks for another great series. As I said in my comment of Part 1, I could only do a mile at a time. 🙂 PS I learned a great deal while watching these videos.
O comment on this video clip just enjoy watching you both 😊
Early as I can Be 👋 How are you Steve? Please Keep this content up i really enjoy it 🙌
Haha no way! That was quick :) Thanks again so much!
@@steve-marsh Please Keep Us this Good Content I really Enjoy it🙌
@@steve-marsh- Send me your home address and I'll ship Alicija a backpack strap mount for her GoPro camera so she doesn't have to hand carry it like in this shot - 19:41. You are acting like I did at the completion of the Nijmegen march [en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Four_Days_Marches_Nijmegen]. Took weeks to get in shape and I don't remember how long for blisters and foot problems to heal and seriously kicked my arse! Congratulations you two!
Well done on completing your walking 🚶♂️ 👏 👍 😊
I mean this in a good way.... you two are insane!
Great two part video guys. So impressive in terms of effort and camera work. I'm sittin here on a saturday night havin a few beers really apperciating our beautiful country and people
Thanks so much! And also for appreciating filming it all as well was another challenge :D
That was amazing guy's !!! I could never done that, but I have because of you...:):):)
I could feel Alicja pain as she had to bail out those two times...:(:(:(
Alicja if Steve didn't massage your feet after that hike shame on him 😢😢😢
I will gladly oblige to massage your feet...😁😁😁
Thanks guy's...:):):)
Well done on your epic walk some really interesting scenery bet them feet took some hammering but u survived 👍 x
In all pf your other videos I have always thought that I would love to copy your adventure. But this one, not so much! Thanks for this great video.
Tornadoes flying at Leuchars, Typhoon was a ‘Spitfire era’ warplane….. maybe when your dad was a wee lad😎👍. Well done you pair, massive undertaking 😰
Cheers Billy :)
Nice to see my old workplace the old Coastguard Station at Fifeness and my old golf club at Crail.
Wow, congratulations to you both, fantastic video. Hope your feet recovered ok 😊
Enjoyed watching your walk, that was quite an achievement; if I did it, the pubs you passed, would be too much of a temptation, and would take me weeks!
Congratulations Steve & Alicja on completing another mammoth P2. of the coastal Path, Although Alicja had problems half way through, she made the gallant effort to re join you, that trail was not for the faint hearted, I was exhausted after fifteen minutes! there was so much to see and comment on, in between you gasping for breath, it looked quite treacherous at times, although picturesque it must have been one of your most gruelling hikes so far! the finishing arch was a welcome site, well done 👏 👏 next time take a leisurely stroll round somewhere more accessible! and less heart ♥️ racing! but that’s not Steve is it! 🥴not enough adrenaline for our intrepid traveler’s 🤪👍
Haha thanks Bernice! It sure was an adventure and thankfully the memory of the pain fades fast :) Cheers from us both :)
I loved every step of the way that you did on our behalf 😅👍👣
Cheers from us both for coming along!
I’m shattered just watching
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing and well done. Another trail to add to my bucket list of future walks.
Cheers Mark!
I'm a Fifer born and bred and you two have been places I didn't know existed, well done.
Haha cheers Ian! What a Kingdom that is :)
Wow, well done it would have taken me 15 days not 5. I imagine there was quite a bit of mental work that went on 😊. The chemin de Saint Jacques de Compostelle would be a walk in the park for you both 😊
That would have made a great wee documentary on the tv,just watched part 2 enjoying a scotch pie with the Mrs,
So very well done to you both, and yes it should be bridge to bridge, 😎🏴🌧️
Cheers Douglas! Best way to watch it :) Thanks from us both
Your comment @18:20 about not deviating due to how you feel reminds me about how I felt cycling through there last October in the pouring rain, utterly sodden and desperately trying to get to Dundee. I'd cycled that day from Glenrothes, via St Andrews in mostly rainy conditions but still, the routes and views around there were utterly beautiful (though I'd have taken your weather!)
You know Terry, you know! :)
You two are wicked! Thoroughly enjoyed this trip!
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Love the montage at the end! Well done..........do you want to try the Cleveland Way?!
Thanks for another cracking trip will have to do this now and respect to you both for doing it 🎉
Well done the pair of you, Wee A is a tough wee spud
Congratulations to both of you on an epic trip; that looked like really hard work.
You comments on Leuchars were spot on. It is now an army base but I think they have retained/maintained the runway as a “diversion” airfield. Typhoons were the last RAF aircraft based there and they transferred to Lossiemouth on the Moray coast. Before Typhoon, Tornadoes and Phantoms were based there protecting northern Britain from the bad guys. The excellent air show is sorely missed.
Looking forward to your next adventure.
Yep, Runway still sees occasional use, they also still have an ATC unit, which provides a Lower Airspace Radar Service (LARS) to local aircraft as well as intermediate approach services to Dundee Arrivals.
Thanks so much for clarifying! :) Loved watching those planes on their low-level sorties! :)
Love her 😊
RAF Leuchars was Tornadoes when I was there in the early '90s. Thanks for your videos!
Ahh cheers Josh! :)
Congratulations to use both that looked really hard going.great video really enjoyed it Steve cheers to use both and thanks again.🥂🥂🍺🍺👍 till ure next video.
Thanks so much Derek!
Well done Steve and Alicja , great job not easy at all , I feel your pain lol
Cheers Jim! :)
Thanks for sharing your adventures exploring Scotland. Makes me feel nostalgic as a Scot expat living in Brisbane! You both should have your own TV show!
Thanks Lis! All the best to you on the other side of the world!
That was very entertaining and educational. You are such a lovely couple.
I'm doing it bridge to bridge as you suggested I think that would tick all my boxes.
Thanks so much pal!
This looked pretty incredible. Thank you both Steve and Alicja for sharing this adventure. Even during your toughest challenge, it is completely relaxing to sit back and watch. Your channel is absolutely the best and the first place I visit next year will be Scotland 🏴
Thank you SO much from us both! And aw the best planning your visit to Scotland :)
Well done to both of you , your video's were great I grew up in a village a few miles from kinkardine and have been in a lot of the towns that you showed in your videos, and I wish that I had at least tried some of the coastal path it looked great 👍
Excellent. So glad you persevered. What a challenge.
Thanks so much from us both!
Good job, what an epic journey! 116 miles on foot is quite an accomplishment. My son who was in Boy Scouts growing up would tell you that polypropylene liner socks inside heavy woolen socks is the key to keeping your feet in good shape along with frequent sock changes. Cheers!
Cheers Bill! Oh wish we had known this before! :)
@@steve-marsh - There will be a next time I am sure!
Came across this a year late. Great trip and through my home town. Perfect conditions too.
I was well gobsmacked when you said Newburgh...I thought you meant the one outside Ellon in Aberdeenshire! That would be a mammoth walk....however if you were both in Kingsbarn pick up some of their Whisky..it's amazing..and again thank you for taking us with you both on these grand adventures ;o)
Haha imagine it! Give us a year and we could probably do it, but that would be a long video. Cheers Andy :)
Loved this, especially the last part from Tayport (I have family there and Dundee across the bridge).
We've been around the Fife coast a couple of times (driving), usually stay at Pitlissie near Cupar.
I was exhausted watching you both over the 2 videos (in my jammies eating a Kitkat) 😅😅.
The shot of the Tay bridge was just beautiful by the way.
Well done, and I hope your tootsies have recovered now.
Best wishes from Kiwi land ☺
Cheers Kelley! Oh yes - the Tay is such a beautiful river, and so often like that :)
I love how Alicja looks increasingly pissed off as the journey proceeds, yet Steve remains enthusiastic throughout. 😂
Haha so true :D
Brilliant 🎉
That was a nice adventure. Congratulations to both of you and thanks.
Thanks so much!
Amazing, well done to the both of you, I felt your pain
Thanks Elaine, I still feel it 🤣
Totally know what you are going through, it's as much a physical challenge as it is mental. As long as you keep putting one step in front of the other knowing that you are making progress whatever rate/speed you are walking at
Cheers Peter! It's amazing how far you can get when you stick to the basics eh? So true! :)
Congratulations!!!!!
Wow, amazing!! I had no doubts you would finish but it's such an epic accomplishment. Well done!
You are both so brave , I'm respectfull !!!
Gabi, thanks so much from us both!
You did great, both. Very well done. Stay safe.
Well done to you both that was an incredible effort and achievement 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Well done to both of you for completing a long hard walk, my joints felt every step you took, hope your feet have recovered for your next adventure.
Well done!!
Amazing achievement....and you don't waste a penny! I really enjoyed "coming along with you"! Well done!
Outstanding stuff to both of you again, really enjoyed that and another great education on various places I've never set foot in, speaking of feet tell the Mrs to get those feet soaked in some Epsom Salts.
Massive Thanks again and well done, some miles and some going.
Thanks so much mate! It was a challenge for sure!
What a great acheivement ......BLISTERS awww noooo they are the worst half way through a long walk ....Respect and Hats Off to both of you xxx
Very well done to both of you for completing the Fife trail, it looked tough but the elation you showed at the end must of been all worth it.... really enjoyed all the great views and little harbours on the way... well done
Unbelievable effort guys. You should be really proud of yourselves. To do the walk is hard enough but to also document it and entertain us is another level.
Cheers mate! Aye, the edit was tricky as well! We could barely film towards the end, so glad we managed to cobble a video together :D
Well done to you both!
