Animation is based on the skybound comic! I don't own any of these characters.
Making this. Was hell. I actually FINISHED it on friday, and then when I tried rendering, there were these weird blue flickers that would pop up. I finally realized it was the grass causing it, but I didnt know how to fix it, so I had to render TWICE then layer stuff to cover the flickers. I think I pulled an all nighter trying to do this 😭 no more grass

Oh wow. The line “(on my planet) I don’t leave marks where my feet tread” could also be that feeling of him not making a difference in the planet shaped battleground that was Cybertron.
I think that Optimus being here on Earth makes him feel that he has to have more responsibility to his actions since even one misstep can have great consequences.
I’m sure that Optimus will recall this moment every time he makes even the slightest mistake, there may even be a pressure building on him to be perfect so as to prevent any more unnecessary loss of life.
Oh yes! This moment is very crucial for Optimus. It's how he comes to accept his responsibility to protect it.
This is the great responsibility that comes with great power
When I first read this scene it always reminded me of the forest scene from the Iron Giant.

Ratchet is ancient and a veteran. And he notices that at a glance. He's also a crotchety old man. And one of my favorite characters.

I was shock to hear IDW lost the rights to the transformers series.
But when I heard about the guys who worked on invincible was going help out on the comics.
I give it a chance.
And it did not failed me.

I like the fact that Prime's arms are blue, it reminds me a lot of Ginrai and other versions of Optimus (for example Armada, Cybertron and Animated)

@@in.zcloudsRofl, even in the takes with Bayformers, Peter expressed his dislike on the Bayformer Optimus. The 2007 movie was more in line with how Optimus Prime should have been and they started devolving him into a heartless killer as more of them came out.

yeah I thought of how much messier it would actually be while I was reading this-at least they don't hold back when it comes to humans.
The scenes /panels evoke what Peter Cullen used from his brother and Larry for Optimus "Be a real hero. Be strong enough to be Gentle". And as such, Peter Cullen will always be Optimus Prime.

@@nobodyhere8257 I based the model off of G1 and not skybound, so that's why the colors aren't accurate! Might change it, might not.

I also used rigify to rig the models. It's a very nice tool, but if you want to get the same effect using something less complicated, you can use the blender armatures. This tutorial has a good rundown of stuff like rigging, shading, modelling, and outlines: ruclips.net/video/KAEj_WCY8mM/видео.html

Peter Cullen is definitely the voice I imagine when I'm reading the comic! However, newer voices like Gary Chalk or David Kaye or even random fans are just as great.
@@in.zclouds I think they're great too! How he came up with the voice for Optimus was because of his brother's words "Be strong enough to be gentle." The man is almost 83. I hope he gets one more time to voice Prime before he dies.
@@smashley4661 Perhaps he'll voice Optimus toward the end of TF one. There is always that GI joe x Transformers movie coming up, and I'm sure they'll cast him one last time. I can't believe he and Frank Weller have been voicing those guys since their 40s. Insane.
At first, reading the scene, I was a little shocked.
But going through I understood that if you live your whole life in a metal planet, it's a bit normal to not know very well your own strength.
It shows just how easily the cybertronians could take over earth, and contrasts Optimus’s compassion with Starscream’s brutality. Love this scene.

I don't think they do! These voice actors dont talk so slow that you need to put the speed at 1.5. And Optimus doesn't sound like an angsty Peter Cullen trying to take a sh*t 💀

If we got a Bumblebee 2 and it focused on Optimus arriving on earth, I could see this being a scene in the movie and the human being replaced with Charlie
Too bad the "bumblebee 2" we got was ROTB. Not a bad movie at all, but pretty lackluster in terms of a sequel.
@@in.zclouds I remember seeing a lot of the Bumblebee movie toys, such as Ironhide and Ratchet toys with Energon cubes, and thinking a lot of those designs were perfect.
If we got a sequel to Bumblebee that was just the Autobots landing on earth and getting to know humanity and having a laidback tone like G1 did at times, along with the Bayverse with more of a G1 style to them (such as more of them having G1 designs from head to toe but with a few Bayverse accessories like colours details the Bayverse designs had), it probably would’ve been a bit more well-received. There would be the debate of Bee and Charlie reuniting and if it would work, but that would probably be it really.
@@User-ChairBoom4729 That plot would've been great. But honestly? ROTB itself could have worked too, if they didn't try to squeeze so much new stuff into a single movie. Maximals, Unicron, a bunch of new characters, and stupid GI joe. Like, slow it down!

This is the sort of stuff that has me believing in starting a franchise then giving it to the fans. If I ever finish this book I've been trying to figure out for years (sunk cost falacy maybe?) it's going to have a message repeated in it. This is my world, but it's your story. Go create the next chapter. And I'll probably watch as my creation is destroyed because I had the audacity to have faith in humanity but I still think letting all the people who love something control it's future instead of one person who hates it is a better choice.
Wow, good luck on your book! Technically, some of hasbro has been given to the fans. Lots of the artists and even some writers have been fans since the very beginning. You can see that passion especially in Cyberverse, Earthspark, the War for Cybertron games, and even rescue bots. Don't give up on humanity yet! 😁
@@in.zclouds Maybe if I can get some renown I'll one day be the writer for a side series of transformers. I would use such power wiseley and sumarise the entire timeline from the clash of the machine gods to the last spark pulling from every version of the story up to that point and of course inserting a small number of my own characters. Probably sounds like a terible idea phrased like that but there'd be actual shattered glass episodes so there's a possible plus?
