John Jacobs and The Power Team is an obsession of mine. I'm like a dog with a bone. I can't quit. And this tape is an opportunity to really tear down the weird papier-mache-and-chicken-wire facade that held his whole gimmick together. When you strip John Jacobs of an overtly Christian message, he's nothing more than a third-rate motivational speaker who can break a pair of handcuffs.
So join me on The Edge of Excellence as I once again dive into a VHS-shaped hole in my own evangelical upbringing on this month's Too Many Tapes!

Hello! Not sure if you take recommendations but I’ve been trying to find this tape for years and can’t find any info online. It was an anger management educational vhs from the late 90’s/ maybe very early 2000’s featuring a stereotypical Italian man. The one most prominent moment I remember was when he sang about making “angry pizza” which is just making a pizza with an angry face. If you know of it, please let me know. Definitely would make a great video too lol. Thank you!!
