That was Latocha and Rocky's plan all along, to get this exposure then go solo..Think about it, all this time Xscape were off the scene she never tried a solo career again...Now all of the sudden you want to go solo??? Why not multi task? Kandi, does it?

As a former Teller YOU CAN ENDORSE CHECKS & depending on the agent THEY WILL DEPOSIT IT without the persons whose name the check is in being present!
I literally told a friend that that is what happened someone double endorsed the check and deposited it and the teller didn’t challenge it because she wasn’t present! All tellers are different!

I'm soooo glad Tamika is telling what REALLY happened. I ALWAYS believed she was the good sister and NOW the world FINALLY see! She's in a lot of pain (rightfully so) and has the absolute right to be upset about what her sister and mother has done to her.

If Latosha's solo project fails she can not blame the group. She needs to look at her inner circle, husband's shady dealing (i.e the check situation, and outside baby (s) and her management. So first off this is the best interview I've seen of Xscape especially since they became a trio. I like the game at the end using Xscape title songs to answer questions.
2nd I love so much and it warms my heart the love, support and comradery they have and how they're supporting Tamika. As Psalm 24:15 says "there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother". She may feel she lost her sister but she has gained two sisters in a priceless way and so much more. Many of us can relate to her pain and she has humbled me.
These 3 have a beautiful chemistry and i pray they move forward into a season that brings true value for each from lessons learned.

This interview explains how Xscape ended up with lousy management that was associated with Rocky and how Kandi ended up in this show when she’s so busy. A year of saying “yes” to her group. Now everyone in the group sees what happens if Kandi doesn’t bring up issues and just says yes. Being shot at in Vegas and the management leaves with the money, management not booking shows, promoters making side deals with Rocky, and paying Rocky money that the group is unaware of.
That was an AMAZING interview! Look, I'm sending up POSITIVE VIBRATIONS for Tamika, because family betrayal hits harder than anything else. And I applaud her, because it doesn't seem like the money is the problem, but more so the treatment that she receives from the people that she loves and seeks approval from. Keep your head up Tamika and the UNIVERSE will handle the rest for you.

Tameka has clearly been emotionally and psychologically abused. She is manipulated and gaslight by her mom. When she wants to express her hurt she's shut down and made to apologize and it's so sad to watch her experience this.

Great interview! The ladies are always transparent and believable. So much detail came out in the interview. Tamika said that her royalty check was mailed to her mama’s house where Tocha & her husband Rocky were living at the time. In QR&B, Tamika’s mother said to Tamika in ep#1 during the argument that “Maybe Tocha needed the money”. Well apparently she did. Tocha a successful recording artist is living with her mother and her very capable husband is not providing for the family.

Awesome interview with Xcape! The questions were thoughtful and professional without being messy. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that Tiny likes to crochet as I do; and I loom knit! I'm also surprised that it was more than 1 check that was forged and cashed. Remember the episode where Tamika's mother said that maybe Latosha needed the money? This interview confirms that their mother knew all along about the money being stolen (let's call a thing a thing). I always thought that Tamika's check was taken and cashed without her knowledge. She should press charges or demand her money back.
Tamika said "no allegedly nothing I'm here". Tell your own story sis, it's painful but you will be victorious in the end.

Fun interview! Tiny and I were born on the same day. I never thought I could relate to her, but I do crochet and I try not to be in the mess! I really like the show because (even with the drama) it has been nostalgic. I am going back and listening to my other faves, including EnVogue and BROWNSTONE!!! I am proud of the Gen X women out there still kicking butt, reinventing themselves, and staying relevant. I love to see it!
