I'm not, but I've eaten different cured meats. So, I kind of understand it. Certain flavors become overwhelming once you eat so much. Sometimes even things that a pretty good initially. But you can only eat so much and have to stop.
A pork pie is a traditional British meat pie, usually served at room temperature. It consists of a filling of roughly chopped pork and pork fat, surrounded by a layer of jellied pork stock in a hot water crust pastry. It is normally eaten as a snack or with a salad.
This is one of the few videos where, after seeing the food, I really thought you weren't going to be able to finish it. That pork pie was bloody massive 😂
Yeah Beardie should go to Africa and chase an Ostrich. Or do they sell them by the dozen at Costco? Can you imagine cooking them? Mrs B would have to do it for him with a stick on a campfire.
Beard's cheeky jokes makes me think in the same manner now.. He splits the pie, lays it spread in front of him.. and then says '''aaayyye look at that" ... I mean... seriously

I have had one of these for my 40th birthday instead of a cake (shared it I might add) and my god, it was THE BEST pork pie I've ever had. I don't know how they manage to maintain the quality at this scale but they do. Hands down the best you can get - and I've had a LOT of pies in my time.
A buddy of mine is a RUclipsr, and I'll tell you as I did him. I'm grateful for RUclipsrs who still take time out to keep us entertained at times like these. Time is needed to escape the world for at least a little while. Thanks Adam, and as you say "Let's Get It!!" 😂

Great job, proud of you doing a proper finish. That looked awesome (pre cut) with the custom Beard Buster. Then you cut it and it did look like a pork brick. I don't think we have these but it seems brutal the eat in large quantities
I don't think many commenters have had a pork pie before haha. Delicious. Like a less salty ham encased within beautiful short crust pastry. I eat them regularly. Great snack for work! Edit: Pork pies are also lovely with mustard and pickle!

I worked for a pork butcher in Hereford in the 70's, taught me all about the crust and filling; evey xmas the head butcher would make a 10lber, all hand raised, and delicious, couldn't eat too much as I was a member of the rowing club at the time, them was the days...
Fellow beardsman and a Kiwi here, Damn I wish I could get that pie here in New Zealand. Cold pork pies seem to be going out of fashion here and are getting real hard to find. Love em with Mustard and Pickles.
My daughter had a three tier Wilsons Pork pie (from my home town of Morley) as her wedding cake. Though she did not eat it all herself! You should have had a bottle of HP brown sauce to ease it down. As a kid I would be sent to queue outside the butcher's shop in Queen Street on the morning of Christmas Eve, to collect our 10" pork pie. The queue started at the shop and would run past the covered market as far as the town hall.
We used to get hot pork pie with mint sauce every morning at work in Leeds. I’m sure it was Wilsons that used to bring them round. They were delicious! Top vid Adam.

The pie with horns is the Desperate Dan pie from Mad o Rourkes Pie factory in Tipton West Midlands an pub that has sawdust on the floor. Really worth the visit also does a full english on a coal shovel🤯

I've had an idea for an eating challenge during lockdown. You can buy pick and mix off the internet by the Kilo and get it delivered. Why don't you try to eat 3 kilos of pick and mix in one sitting?

His last 2 videos where he ate diabetes in a chocolate egg then the diabetes bun kind of lend proof to that argument. He also knows nutrition and exercise which can limit negative health defects appearing for him if handled effectively. That being said, I imagine a pick and mix wouldn't be something for him to shy away from

Beard bro that wasn't just the biggest ass pork pie I've ever seen, let alone seen someone eat, but it was really densely packed by the looks of it, that thing was compacted to the max. I know you don't like the jelly but the more they use the moister, less compact it usually is which despite having to eat a bit more jelly might have made it a little easier. Not much obviously again just stunning to see that but mostly it's the Grade A+ humour that keeps me returning.
