Eliminating surfers half way through the year and crowning a world champion from the results of one final contest is BS.
Im good with the cut, by using one event at Tresles to crown a world champ is ridiculous.
They have to fix this before Felipe wins 10 world titles.
The athletes need more input on rules. Money guys need to optimize a better viewer experience. Seems missing the swell is expected after this year.

World Surf League sounds naff. Bring back the ASP.
they only want to know about events on the weekends. they do not value athletes and surf culture. athlete finishes the circuit in September and others from January to May... haoles
This video says almost nothing, by giving almost zero examples of what’s wrong with the WSL.
I stopped caring about the tour because frankly, it’s boring.
For me, the peak was the drama of the early 2000s with the rivalry between AI and Slater.
Change up your voice here and there, this video is too long for a stock narration intonation for so long 😎
