- Here's the full dance of Chloe Lukasiak's classical variation from "La Fille Mal Gardee" at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) Semi-Finals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Friday, January 14th, 2011. She didn't place in the Pre-Competitive Age Division.
She represented the Abby Lee Dance Company.
Coached by: Peter Merz
just imagine if abby didn’t destroy her confidence and passion
CHLOE WENT TO YAGP?!?! How have I never known this?! She could’ve been an elite ballerina tbh Chloe has/had all the beauty and grace of an amazing ballerina and it’s too bad Abby’s jealousy and bitterness broke this sweet girl’s spirit
Wow that lady butchered her.last name 😂
Lots of people are mad this didn't place. YAGP is a competition for very advanced ballerinas. It would be I miracle to get 10th there
FINALLY, I've been looking everywhere for this solo, it's pretty much the only one she does that I know of that is purely classical ballet. No contemporary, no random jazz, no Lifetime screwing up the genre. Completely classical ballet. Beautiful. Could I ask where you happened to find it? I couldn't find anything anywhere, just photos.
This is so cute 😍. No wonder she got the Joffery scholarship for ballet later on. She had the best classical technique out of all of the OGs and I wish she would've gotten more training in it instead of spending every day getting her confidence destroyed by Abby.
The way they said Chloe’s last name killed me💀💀
Just thought about how Chloe’s dance career would’ve been completely different if she would’ve went directly in Ballet school instead of the ALDC
She was so tiny awwww!! 🥺💓 She would’ve made an amazing ballerina!
Imagine if she had a supportive dance teacher who always encouraged her to work for her dream. She would’ve been an absolutely amazing ballet dancer
Chloe’s smile was INFECTIOUS! It made me smile! She truly enjoyed dancing!! My heart literally melted at the sight of her dancing 🥺🥺
You can tell that she had potential. The issues she had in the variation (from my point of view as a girl who at least knows the basics) were in her form. Meaning the way she positioned her arms when she held her tutu for example or the way she ended her turns. Those are super specific and can be quite different from other styles. And considering that her studio at the time didn't focus that much on her classic ballet training, it would make sense that she was unsure of how to properly hold her arms with the tulll between her fingers. But hey, I danced as well as she did... when I was 14 lol. I wasn't good even that good at 14, who am I kidding XDDD
OMG YESSS IVE BEEN DYING TO SEE THIS SOLO. Now, if there was only some way we could see Princess Chloe and Thank You For The Music!😂😭
She was amazing! I wish she would’ve gone to a ballet school she had great potential and could’ve maybe been a professional.
Chloe always had the best posture. Straight back and lines. Very graceful to watch
She's currently recovered from an eating disorder. Being in the cut throat world of ballet would have been really hard mentally and physically. She would have been great up to a certain level where some teachers were still supportive. Once you go pro, or even pre-pro, Teachers call you fat and shame you. That's what happened to Sophia Lucia and she is recovered from an eating disorder now and is a dance teacher for children. I think Chloe would make a wonderful dance teacher for kids. She's so sweet.
A lot of people comparing this to Lily's solo. Chloe was 9 here and lily was 11.
Awwwww this is so cute!!! Chloe did really good, I wish she trained more ballet ;-;-;-;
ALL THE TIME-
