One on one battles are the footprint of the first great saga of the series, the first World Tournament saga. Before the World Tournament in what fight scenes we do get, Goku works with Yamcha in the scant battles we see before the tournament. Particularly against Monster Carrot. The Z Fighters should naturally work on their teamwork instead of just trying to individually juice themselves up. If you fought three equally powerful people who work in perfect sync against you, it's as good as a multiplier by three for each opponent. Put that against a single combatant. 3 on 1 where all three are individually weaker than the one they'll still more than likely win due to the boost you get from synchronizing your attacks and supporting each other's movements and attacks. Imagine a fight with Nappa having to face Tien, Piccolo, and Krillin at Saiyan Saga levels but with perfect teamwork. You have two people to come in with a solar flare to blind him, and two people with attacks that could virtually penetrate anything with the special beam canon and the destructo disc. You would also have the tri-beam which itself acts as a multiplier. A Dragon Team which actually works like a team would be able to stand up to most threats. The problem there, particularly in the Saiyan Saga is that if they chose that, then Vegeta would also cut in. This is one acceptable argument against fighting as a team.

I think Yamcha actually dodged a bullet with Bulma. She's an EXTREMELY demanding and overbearing person, and not at all the type to be emotionally available or go out of her way to do something for someone else. Don't forget, at the end of Z, she--the rich girl with literally every type of vehicle in the world in her pockets--yells at Goku--the poor radish farmer living in the mountains--for not seeing her in five years. By the end of GT, if we want to count that, it's shown that it takes ONE GENERATION for Bulma's family to totally separate from everyone else, because Pan doesn't know who Vegeta Jr. is despite her literally knowing the original Vegeta. Bulma never makes offers to help out the rest of the cast with her infinite wealth and resources unless it personally benefits her, and the only people she seems to actually care about are her direct family and SPECIFICALLY Goku. I don't think anyone but a Saiyan could really handle a relationship like that. Yamcha is a nice guy who needs a woman that will be more sweet and available to him, which is a perfectly valid explanation for why his eye would wander in the first place. Yeah, he's not getting Bulma in bed, but he's on the market for a girl that's truly compatible with him AND he still gets to hang out at Capsule Corp with the others. Sounds like a win to me.
Thank you!!! Bulma likely cheated on him, not the other way around. She was abusive and openly flirted with guys when they were together. Bulma was a horrible person.
Also, her behavior of deciding to sleep with a mass murderer who tried to kill your best friend (Goku), watched him abuse child Gohan multiple times, and was responsible for the death of your long time ex BF who you are still friends with (Yamcha) and another good friends (Tien and Chaotzu) AFTER trying to destroy your planet is insane. Glad Yamcha is with Vidro now
I’ll always stand by Krillin, even destroying the remote. Like, The androids are victims on multiple levels and killing them would be wrong, framing Krillin not killing a victim as “Simping” ( Wtf does that even bloody mean ) is just blegh
Yamcha didn't fumble - he dodged the biggest red flag in the world. Go watch OG DB. Bulma is abusive to him and always flirted with ither guys ehile they dated. Seriously, who sleeps with a known mass murderer, who tried to destroy your planet, is responsible for the death of many lifelong friends, including your long time ex who you are still friends with, and also tried to kill your best friend (Goku). She also watched Vegeta abuse 8 year Gohan on earth after they all got back from Namick.
Sorry I keep commenting it on new videos, but how about "What if Mercenary Tao turned good?" Like Tao takes Tien's words to heart during their tournament match and they start training together. Perhaps after the Cell saga, Tao has Bulma give him upgrades based on the android schematics. His human half getting an infinite energy engine like 17/18 and his robot half gets energy absorbers like 19/Gero, the adamantine body the guidebooks say 13 has, and scanners like the fully robotic models. More upgrades could come after 73 is destroyed or after Hedo joins Capsule Corp. Maybe he takes interest in Hit and his time-skip due to them both being assassins.
I have a theory the Reason he gave Cell the senzu was because cell was tired and when a tired fighter goes against a new fighter they go all out from the start and don't test out their opponent and if Cell went all out from the start he likely would've killed Gohan when he was holding himself back
I'd also thought that, alongside the fact, he's comprised of DNA from at least 2 fighters that try to destroy the planet when they're losing or exhausted
I don’t feel like saying his mistreatment of Bulma is Yamcha’s biggest mistake is fair tbh. His personality is just not compatible with hers, it wasn’t gonna end any other way. Sure maybe it ended sooner than it could have but he’s honestly just really the type to settle down with one girl anyway
I would have given the Androids the remote. So that they get to decide wether they get to fight, run, or prevent cell from achieving perfection. Basically give them the right to choose how things play out.
The idea of Yamcha cheating on Bulma makes no sense! Who in their sane mind would cheat on the richest and smartest woman in the world? If anything I think Bulma just had a misurderstanding with Yamcha and thought he was cheating on her, because keep in mind one of yamchas dream was to get married, but the guy cant look at another girl for more then two seconds Bulma gets mad. If we go back at Dragon ball between Yamcha and Bulma, the latter was the one who was always doing googly eyes to any man that rubbed her fancy like General Blue, Oolong transformation into a hot guy before she knew who he was and even zarbon in dbz! Love Toriyama, but with all the retcons, why are people so focused on the idea of Yamcha cheating? We dont even have actual footage of it.
Exactly. If anyone cheated, it 100% was Bulma. Glad so many people are standing up for Yamcha and the BS off comment that he cheated. He did not. Never happened in the TV or Manga
Vegeta is the one who makes the worst mistakes more often, from killing Nappa, baiting frieza to tranform that soon (he could had gained more time to goku to recover or try to tire frieza a bit while he was on his 1 form), letting cell power up (he didnt learn his lesson from frieza), then in the buu saga he went to far in several ocasions from the majin thing, to refuse help to deal whit Buu, then HE IS THE ONE WHO DESTROYS THE POTARA FIRST. He simply finds a way to make a bad situation worse for himself and everyone around
I'm glad so many people are defending Yamcha. We all know he didn't cheat in the Manga or TV show. Bulma is a good charcter now but the real ones who watched OGDB know if anyone cheated, it was her. She projected and accused Yamcha of this multiple times in OGDB, and it was never true. She was also abusive to him.
I agree with all of it except for Yamcha who i won't believe cheated as in had a foreign intercourse and things like that while in a relationship with Bulma due to it not feeling in character for him in addition to Bulma being quick to jump to things like that. Like he wasn't a saint but he wasn't like that, in addition to Bulma while being in a relationship with Yamcha always having eyes for hot guys so i think it was partially projecting.
People really never watched OG DB. Bulma accused Yamcha of cheating all the time, yet, he never did. It was her projecting and being jealous of him casually getting attention. Her, on the other hand, always flirted with other guys when they dated and was abusive to him.
Tien's mistake, when he was dropping those Tri Beams on Cell - he should have dropped one on Android 18. He had no loyalty to her at that point. Yamaha biggest mistake was not perfecting the kiaoken
For Tien, I also don't think letting the androids and Dr. Gero be during the start of the Androids Saga was a mistake. Like you said, they hadn't done anything yet, at best it'd be attacking them for a thought crime, at worst, they die to the androids Gero already has, or kill an innocent old man - Red Ribbon ties notwithstanding. For Yamcha, I do think being cocky was his biggest mistake - and it's revealed in Kakarot (if you want to treat that as canon for anything not otherwise explained) that Yamcha wasn't unfaithful to Bulma, it's just that other girls started flirting with him/checking him out, and Bulma got the wrong idea. The only mistake Krillin made was crushing the remote instead of keeping it as a fail-safe against the andoids. Sparing the androids wasn't a mistake, as outside of robbing a few places, they were innocent - hell, they were victims of Gero if anything. (Also, even crushing the remote wasn't that big of a mistake, since I'm sure Vegeta would've destroyed the remote himself if Krillin didn't.) For Goku, the biggest mistake I think he made wasn't giving Cell the Senzu Bean, but rather not telling Gohan the plan from the get-go. Gohan thought he was never going to have to fight, and that Goku would handle Cell. He completely misunderstood his son, and didn't work towards telling him "Hey, I know you don't like fighting and killing, but if I can't handle Cell, you'll have to finish the job, or the Earth is doomed." Otherwise, him forgetting the Talisman or grabbing the coupon was his second biggest mistake. Vegeta sparing Cell was his biggest mistake, and probably the second biggest mistake in the entirety of Z. Gohan makes a few minor mistakes, but his biggest mistake was not learning from those mistakes. I can't think of any mistakes Piccolo made. Getting intel from Cell wasn't a mistake, but backfired on him. Overall, I think the characters that made the biggest mistakes were actually Future Trunks, and even moreso, Future Shin. Future Trunks was there when Goku got Dende. He was there when the Dragon Balls were used. All he had to do was one simple thing - ask where New Namek is. Goku is right there with King Kai, talking telepathically with all of them. He got the coordinates before, he can do it again. With this info, Future Bulma could build a space ship (or Trunks asks for one from her past counterpart), and then Trunks could go to New Namek to use their Dragon Balls to undo all the death and destruction caused by the androids - and if Piccolo and Kami can't be revived, then grab Dende to be the new guardian of Earth. A new set of Earth Dragon Balls (or the old ones) and potentially revived Z Fighters means that Future Shin either doesn't die, or is revived afterwards. This means Future Beerus doesn't die, and thus Zamasu's Zero Mortals Plan is subverted before it's even conceptualized. And Future Shin's mistake was getting himself killed, since his sacrifice DIRECTLY leads to Zamasu being able to go to a universe without a destroyer to stop his plans.
I think Piccolo’s biggest mistake honestly is accidentally letting stuff slip too much. Like the regeneration to Cell and Raditz with the dragon balls.
Tien’s mistake in my eyes, is letting Cell rock Piccolo but saving 18 from Cell. Apparently Piccolo, 17, 16, and Tien together should have been able to stop Cell. But Tien stays still until a stronger version of Cell goes after 18.
8:39 The reason Krillin often get blame the more than vegeta in fandom is because "it's about woman" and it's "useless character mistake" while Vegeta isn't get the same hate from his pure selfish reason because "OH MY GOD HE'S THE SAIYAN PRINCE, IT'S SO BADASS". The ONLY thing that actually make people mad at Krillin for his mistake is neither him letting 18 live or fall for 18 in android Saga but it is because Krillin isn't seemingly badass to audience enough (even if he's cool dude to me)
You got it twisted here. Krillin, I'm not gonna say "simp", messed up because he could have escorted 18 away while Vegeta and Cell were distracted. He's made escapes in bad situations before. What was stopping him right then? Nothing. As for Vegeta. It's not, "OMG he's so Bad Ass!" It's the fact that he's a Saiyan and he's genetically predisposed to making fight based screw ups. All the Saiyans make that mistake. Wanting to fight tough opponents no matter the cost is in their DNA. Vegeta, Goku, Gohan, Goten AND kid Trunks all make the same mistake. Letting foes power up, not finishing the fight immediately, showing off, etc. The only one who doesn't make those mistakes is Future Trunks and that's because he comes from a world that's 82% dead. He knows and understands consequences therefore he doesn't waste time with his foes. He just destroys them. He did it with Frieza and King Cold, then when he got back to the future he did the same with 17, 18 and Cell. No wasted motion. Just near instant neutralization.
@TheStormbringer8751 I agree with Krillin thing, he could have done something else instead of just stay. For Vegeta, No Vegeta DNA have nothing to do with it, Vegeta is not ORDINARY Saiyan by any means. He represents the worst part of Saiyan if anything even if we don't count Saiyan that come during DBS ERA, 99.9999% of the race wouldn't let Cell Transform because that 0.0001% that let Cell Transform is Vegeta IV and Present Trunks because he try to be like his father to make him pay attention to him. At the very least most Saiyan fight to win or survive like Raditz, Bardock(Z) and Nappa Hell we got a Tarble and He's nowhere near as arrogant as Raditz. It's not Saiyan DNA that's a problem, It's Vegeta himself that's a problem. Hell if you say it's in DNA then Trunks probably play around with the Android duo in future like they did to him since he already knows what happened like Imperfect Cell arrival in few years and the power advantage is cut clear so there's all the reason he can let go and let his Saiyan take over him, IF HIS SAIYAN DNA IS THAT STRONG point being, Vegeta is just the worst Saiyan in general, at least before he redeems himself.
The Gohan eyesight thing that came up in Superhero ONLY applied to his base form. He can see fine once he's at least gone Super Saiyan. This also presumably wasn't even an issue yet since he didn't start wearing glasses until AFTER the Buu Saga. So outside of being tired and beaten, he's got no excuse for such a fumble. He should be able to see just fine with Potential Unleashed.
Great video, I would like a remake your old video talking about if Goku really is a bad father, I see so many people calling him a bad father and I don't agree.
I swear that the biggest series of character's mistakes was at the Island of Bad Decisions in the Cell Saga for the lead-up to Semi-Perfect Cell becoming Perfect. Vegeta, Trunks, 18, and Krillin were all responsible for how badly things got out of hand with Goku, Bulma, 17, and Piccolo indirectly helping from their previous actions.

Nah Yamcha didn’t fumble Bulma. Bulma 100% did not deserve as good of a boyfriend Yamcha was. Who cares if someone is rich and smart if they treat you like trash and eye other guys behind your back. Even if Yamcha full blown cheated I can understand with how badly Bulma treated him. My GOAT has no fumbles
@ og Dragon Ball when they were dating, she did not treat Yamcha well at all. Yeah she’s better now but start of the series to end of Namek she was basically a huge narcissist who treated Yamcha as an object, that’s why her and Vegeta are a perfect pair.
@ I can’t deny that it was written that Yamcha cheated. What I can say is that it was a huge character assassination. A sacrifice to justify Trunk’s existence
It was NEVER in the MANGA or show, so it never happened. Bulma, on the other hand, 100% always flirted with guys while dating Yamcha and likely did cheat. Bulma is a bad person
Could you do a what if future gohan was sent to the past kinda how bardock was but gohan was sent back to around when he was born or around the sayain saga figure itd make amazing what if idea
Those "mistakes" happened because the writers wrote it that way to move the plot forward. If they didn't make any mistakes, the entire series would've ended much sooner. You should ask Toyotaro why Akira Toriyama wrote it that way.
Trunks Biggest mistake was undoubtedly not realising that everyone aside from Tien and Piccolo were salesmen and would sell harder than anyone in history previously, even he is not immune to the job application.
Ok I'm sick of hearing this. Yeah, Yamcha shouldn't have been (at least) checking out other women. You know who did the same fucking thing? Bulma. She was eyeing up Zarbon and Vegeta. Abridged Semi-Perfect Cell: "Oh my God! It's Tien! What? Was Krillin busy?" Abridged Tien: *readies his Kikoho stance* Abridged Semi-Perfect Cell: "Come on, buddy! You can't be serious! And F**K YOU! *SHINNNNNN KIKOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"*
Imo for me with goku's mistake in DBS (anime wise i think), is somewhat referring back to the Majin Vegeta thing in Buu Saga except Majin Vegeta is Goku Black. He could've killed Goku Black with SSJ Blue, but he just wanted to see how strong Goku Black is, thus the reason why the entire arc continued
I mean gohan could have known that buu could absorb people to get stronger with disconnected fragments of himself if supreme kai who knew about it just chose to not for no reason whatsoever other than to set up a way for goku to come back. Supreme Kai could have stressed or even said something anything at all but no.

I don't think Yamcha fumbling Bulma was a mistake in the long run that girl was crazy
Sorry I keep commenting it on new videos, but how about "What if Mercenary Tao turned good?"
Like Tao takes Tien's words to heart during their tournament match and they start training together.
Didn't Bulma tell this to Trunks? I'm wholly convinced she was lying because she has a worse record of these kinda stuff that Yamcha
One mistake Krillin made was telling no one that they took the bomb out of android 16😮
No, Krillin not blowing up 18 was everyone elses mistake for giving Krillin the remote in the first place 😂
12AM Salad?
Problem echo??
Midnight snack
@ the midnight snack was the shrooms😮💨
I would have given the Androids the remote. So that they get to decide wether they get to fight, run, or prevent cell from achieving perfection. Basically give them the right to choose how things play out.
10:29, Cell would disagree I think.
Eh, no one is Perfect.
Perfect Cell: and I took that personally.
The GOAT posts again once more.
Cell: *absorbs 18*
Vegeta: *laughs like a psycho*
Also, Cell: "I love bbws"
Im glad you covered the anime and a little bit of the manga it gives more perspective for those who don't read the manga
Its funny that yamcha's "biggest mistake" was fumbling the bag with Bulma.
Not at all. Go watch OGDB. She was abusive to him and often flirted with other guys. Yamcha dodged such a red flag.
Great job
NO MIDNIGHT DEPRESSION TODAY
@@Phoenix-pm2qr Is this to me if so wrong guy because i have the exact same thoughts behind myself.
No, I'm agreeing with you. Yamcha never actually cheated in the Manga or the TV show
I see the member's first video "What if ALL SAIYANS were good" and salad uploading at 12 am that's new!
This is gonna be a good video, there’s a lot to cover 😂
(Also, even crushing the remote wasn't that big of a mistake, since I'm sure Vegeta would've destroyed the remote himself if Krillin didn't.)
For Goku, the biggest mistake I think he made wasn't giving Cell the Senzu Bean, but rather not telling Gohan the plan from the get-go.
Also for the Portara thing, that's kinda on Goku for his bad aim. He didn't even throw it right at Gohan but a few meter behind him
Well, during DBS Super Hero, Piccolo threw Gohan a senzu bean, and he entirely failed to catch it. So 50/50 on both ends.
There could be the a whole video for Vegeta lol
Gohan not training for SEVEN YEARS is his biggest mistake! And he KEEPS doing it
Gohan seems to have finally learned, because in DBS Super Hero he surprised Piccolo by training to perform the Special Beam Cannon in secret.
I think Piccolo’s biggest mistake honestly is accidentally letting stuff slip too much. Like the regeneration to Cell and Raditz with the dragon balls.
Goku not taking his heart medicine before hand
It was made to treat it after he started showing symptoms
Tien’s mistake in my eyes, is letting Cell rock Piccolo but saving 18 from Cell.
Apparently Piccolo, 17, 16, and Tien together should have been able to stop Cell.
But Tien stays still until a stronger version of Cell goes after 18.
liked how you used OoT Hyrule Field theme at the end
8:39
The reason Krillin often get blame the more than vegeta in fandom is because "it's about woman" and it's "useless character mistake"
while Vegeta isn't get the same hate from his pure selfish reason because "OH MY GOD HE'S THE SAIYAN PRINCE, IT'S SO BADASS".
At the very least most Saiyan fight to win or survive like Raditz, Bardock(Z) and Nappa
Hell we got a Tarble and He's nowhere near as arrogant as Raditz.
It's not Saiyan DNA that's a problem, It's Vegeta himself that's a problem. Hell if you say it's in DNA then Trunks probably play around with the Android duo in future like they did to him since he already knows what happened like Imperfect Cell arrival in few years and the power advantage is cut clear so there's all the reason he can let go and let his Saiyan take over him, IF HIS SAIYAN DNA IS THAT STRONG
point being, Vegeta is just the worst Saiyan in general, at least before he redeems himself.
Hey salad can you what if superman was a z fighter (basically if he was a character in universe)
Dude. Vegeta and Nappa only came to Earth because Piccolo decided to brag about the Dragon Balls to Raditz
You forgot Goku's mistake of letting go of Raditz's tail and needing to risk his life to beat him
Gohans biggest was mistake was stopping training and getting soft
Me when i randomly find a salad saiyan vid on my feed.
Just realized you accidentally used the salad bar channel at the end 😭
They didn’t do anything but I wanna fight you is the craziest shit ever
Perfect Cell being allowed to exist by Vegeta is not a mistake. He wasted to see how handsome Cell could get and he did NOT disapoint
Future Goku made a pretty notable mistake too. Dying😂
The obvious T4S clips are AMAZING
Goku Z: "Gohan, you must kill Cell immediately"
Goku Super: *gets shot by a Frieza force laser* 🗿
Also Goku Super: *Lets Moro repeat the entire Cell saga* 🗿
Tbh Yamcha fumbling Bulma is actually his biggest W, without Trunks everybody dies to the androids
I did not know goku destroyed the potara im so mad I really like how dragon ball handles fusion but goku destroying the potara against kid buu and not saving gohan could have been catastrophic
Most of piccolos mistakes are the result of Toriyama's infamous memory 😂
Those interpolated scenes made me kind of uneasy
2:01 bulma even offered yamcha her feet ( to massage her feet) as one last chance to redeem himself and he still fumbled
Goku might have given Cell the bean.
But Gohan failed to finish him off.
She technically saved the Z-Fighters multiple times, so how does she not deserve it? Yamcha literally cheated on her
@ og Dragon Ball when they were dating, she did not treat Yamcha well at all. Yeah she’s better now but start of the series to end of Namek she was basically a huge narcissist who treated Yamcha as an object, that’s why her and Vegeta are a perfect pair.
@@tis4tru504y’all can use head cannon as much as you want yamcha cheated per toriyama so tuff plus he isn’t even a saiyan
Bulma is a bad person
do you have a what if on goku taking the reigns during cell fight or SSJ3 against Vegeta or Fat Buu?
3:22 is that tfs footage
This is insane😮
Could you do a what if future gohan was sent to the past kinda how bardock was but gohan was sent back to around when he was born or around the sayain saga figure itd make amazing what if idea
I’d actually say letting himself become Majin was Vegeta’s biggest mistake. If he didn’t they would’ve easily stopped the Buu Saga like immediately.
this was not on the schedule
Asking for a Goku Raised by Red Ribbon Army again
Those "mistakes" happened because the writers wrote it that way to move the plot forward.
If they didn't make any mistakes, the entire series would've ended much sooner.
You should ask Toyotaro why Akira Toriyama wrote it that way.
Odd to drop this video at midnight here but okay
take a shot every time he says mistake
Trunks Biggest mistake was undoubtedly not realising that everyone aside from Tien and Piccolo were salesmen and would sell harder than anyone in history previously, even he is not immune to the job application.
Why is this video dropped so early in the morning 😅
Okay but like. They could've just gone to Gero's lab and grabbed him.
Random earthlings are permanently dead there’s got to be some people that were killed when the sayins arrived that went to the world torment
Interesting video
Ok I'm sick of hearing this.
Yeah, Yamcha shouldn't have been (at least) checking out other women. You know who did the same fucking thing? Bulma.
She was eyeing up Zarbon and Vegeta. If that isn't the biggest fucking double standard I don't know what is! Yamcha doesn't strike me as the type to cheat, his dream is to get married ffs. He's not gonna throw that away.
Abridged Semi-Perfect Cell: "Oh my God! It's Tien! What? Was Krillin busy?"
Abridged Tien: *readies his Kikoho stance*
Abridged Semi-Perfect Cell: "Come on, buddy! You can't be serious! With your Power Level? You're no Android! Nor are you Namekian! And you're certainly no Super Saiyan! You're just human."
Abridged Tien: "Yeah... You know what! F**k Power Levels! F**k Super Saiyans!
Supreme Kai could have stressed or even said something anything at all but no.
what about that time goku ignores taking the heart virus medicine? or am i misremembering?
3:08 Well vegeta letting cell go wouldn’t be a problem if Krillen exploded 18 so…
