Only ~190 views? 6 upvotes...? Clearly not a very popular director, which is unfortunate but I guess not too surprising as his movies can be felt to be repulsive and boring. I hope producers continue to have faith in him

I mean he must be pretty big if you’re taking time out of your life to leave a comment. Even if he doesn’t have more publicity than a Michael Bay or Christopher Nolan or a JJ Abrams, he still has a passionate cult fan base and his aesthetic and unique style has inspired a very large number of modern filmmakers. He will one day be renounced as one of the all time greats and be up there with orsen wells and Alfred hitchcock. The reason he isn’t as renounced today is because he’s ahead of his time and he will be renounced more in the future.
