I was going over your tutorial and I found it very easy to understand and I had tried to practice it while I was watching it. Thank you so much for sharing these skills!!!!! I really appreciated it!
Pierre you are incredibly inspirational! Every time I watch any of you stuff my motivation goes through the roof. Thanks you for putting these videos out here for all of us to learn from.
Thank you, exactly what I'm looking for. Now I don't have to worry about my rasterized illustrations that I made from Photoshop and Clip Paint Studio looking artificial and crisp on the printed products.
Thankyou man, I have stepped out of design since college and really didn't touch illustration much in the course, these tips should help to make flat colours have some depth
The 4 lower numbers on the color halftone are the angle degrees. In a color halftone they will all be different values to allow you to see the CMYK and so the 'full color' effect. If you have them same as each other you get the monotone halftone so you can set them to any number you like, so long as it's the same number (if you want to use as a monotone texture)
hey, can someone please help me?? i did an illustration and used the dissolve brush but now photoshop won’t let me export it the way it is. the grain is ALL gone!! 😟😭😭 please help someone?
Sorry this is me again. I have a question, I tried to save my illustration on photoshop as JPEG but when I open the jpeg some of the rough grain textures on the had become smoother and I had no idea to trouble shoot this problem. Do you might know how to resolve it?
Flawless work dude! I wonder what is the format that you use to save your illustrations for print... examples (.tiff, .jpg, ) so you can avoid the loss of those beautiful details. Thank you in advance :D
hello, you know for the second tip you can create a smart object of your layers and then add noise so if you will need to work on smth in illustration you can just twice click on the object layer, make changes and save, after that your original file will be updated
This leveled me up about +10 points. Thanks!
thanks!

yeah this happen with the dissolve option. you loose some of the grain for some reason. try using the legacy brush instead.

Thanks! That's a good idea! I personally find smart objects a bit slower to work with, but thanks for sharing🤟🔥

I don't want to sound negative, great tutorial, but you should have warned about flashing images in the intro part.
