Yeah but he also used the N word and other racist words and it made it seems like anyone can say them, mainly white kids repeated it, not in a racist way but to be funny like Dave Chappele I'm sure Dave thought of those repercussions.
suppose you're right about that, but thats what parents are for. They are meant to smack the shit out of them when you hear garbage come from their mouths
comedy central refused to pay him future royalties that would have been owed to him over the coarse of the next several years which would have greatly exceeded $50mil so they created the whole smear campaign about him on drugs and having mental issues to discredit him. kind of shady of looper for not including that because that's part of the biggest and untold reasons why the show came to an end.
the only reason i thought he left was because of something he didn't want to do, that others were making him do (someone in the illuminati), and that it wouldve been dangerous for him to stay and not comply with them. but this makes sense too. he was obviously not content with his new approach to the comedy they wanted him to play or show, so he decided not to, and kinda had to leave the spotlight he wasnt intended to sell out to.
yea somene also told they owed him close to 500million but instead offered only 1/10 of it and also would take control of his show in future seasons which he didnt want
I have a lot of respect for Dave Chapelle to understand when it was time to walk away. Like many who became famous and when the pressures of Hollywood in general becomes to much to handle, most resorted to alcohol or drug use to cope with it. Instead, Dave decided to walk away and reflect on things. I'm sure some thought he was crazy for leaving 50 million behind. But at the end of the day, he knew it was the right thing to do.
Right? Unlike with a lot of celebrities, you can never call Dave Chappelle a sellout. The man essentially walked away from Hollyweird while he was at the top.
Dave Chappelle is one of the funniest comedians to ever walk on to the stage. He is a talented actor and anything he has ever been in is funny as hell. I hope he continues his career in the future, the entertainment industry is a better place with him in it.....
The only positive thing about Chappelle not having done much over the past decade is that he isn't dead and can pick it all back up whenever he wants. There is great sadness for all the talent that died far too early. Hopefully Dave will keep making us laugh again for a long time.
I didn't know that he had such a hard time breaking into the Hollywood scene. It's a shame that he was booed off stage and had so many flops, just to get a hit show that he left so shortly. It's almost as if something was telling him that TV wasn't meant to be his forte and to stick with stand up comedy.
bunsipod tv was his forte, he just needs to have complete control of it. Therefore he should start his own RUclips channel and patreon and make bank. Hell if he did a GoFundMe he would get all the cash he needs to produce it.
I am kinda happy but he was cheated by the network out of $250 mill from his previous show! The other things is he really does not look like the previous Dave C.....
what they didn't tell u is that chappelle show DVD grossed over a billion dollars and comedy central had a renogotiation clause in their contract. Dave was suppose to get 500 million dollars
Daves show was not expected to be the success it became. When the show grossed $500 mill, on what was a 50/50 contract, the network executives told DC that the show made too much for the contract to be valid and offered him £50 mill. When he refused to accept, the unleashed the media on him!
Darius Beasley I know, hes never stop stand up a lot of people don't know but he's been doing stand up for many yrs after the chappelle show there's a stand up on RUclips of his that's 4 hrs long
KymSalabim There is an 8hr one as well that looks to be roughly 8-10yo because it's before he got ripped. It's fucking hilarious too. There is also a few more recent ones that are also great. Like you said he has never stopped and certainly never stopped being funny
Daves show was not expected to be the success it became. When the show grossed $500 mill, on what was a 50/50 contract, the network executives told DC that the show made too much for the contract to be valid and offered him £50 mill. When he refused to accept, the unleashed the media on him! End of show!
Muffin Lion "That's right Kofi Annan, think imma take orders from an African? You might speak 16 different languages but you gon need em when you in Time Square selling fake hats!"
Kevin K.C. So that's what Dave meant when people were laughing AT HIM rather than laughing with him? Dang, Dave was smart to not let it get too far then. He didn't sell out blackpeople-joke and kept it real humble. What an inspiration.
Not really. Comedy Central wasn't in the writer's room. Dave, Neil and the writers were. What happened was that dave was highlighting racial stereotypes in an attempt to make fun of them to show how absurd they were. Unfortunately, a chunk of his audience were laughing not because he was pointing how absurd the stereotypes were but because they thought he was speaking the truth by showing them. That's what he meant when he said a lot of people were laughing for all the wrong reasons. Good for him for not wanting to be part of that.
Right!? I was shocked to hear it was a flop. All of my friends went to see it (fully baked, obviously). I always assumed it never got a sequel, because it simply didn't need one. Such a great stoner comedy! I watch it every 4/20!
CultOfMoMo Hard to argue. Selling stolen government weed to bail your buddy out of jail for unwittingly killing a police horse. Pretty dumb plot but perfect for a hilariously awesome stoner flick!
mightymoeish nah he just quit on the network cuz they were not repecting him. He's more intelligent and realized they needed him to profit bit weren't treating him well
Dave told this story on the tonight show about showing Kanye some unreleased Chappelle show skits and it was the best story about Kanye West I have ever heard.
I don't think the Chappelle would get the same response nowadays. It will trigger a lot of people since people can't laugh at stupid racial stereotypes anymore. Some of the American people need to suck it up and like we use to say "grow a pair" and not whine (or destroy things) when things don't go their way.
people are so fucking done with talking about race issues all the time . It was new and edgy 15 years ago .. now people just dont want to do it anymore.
I don't think it was new or edgy 15 years ago. It was new and edgy when Prior was doing it. Dave Chappelle never took on racial issues to be edgy. His forte was in poking fun at each other in an effort to bring people together and give people something to laugh at themselves for. Anyone that gets triggered at that shit is an idiot. Chappelle was a genius at bringing people together via comedy
we need another Dave Chappelle stand up special. the mans stand up comedy is legendary. For what it's worth and Killing em softly are easily my two favorite stand up specials by far, and have been for years. Chappelle show was great but the mans comedic talent went way beyond just sketch comedy.
W/e i miss chappelle's show but I've seen Dave's stand up over the last 2 years and that dude still got it! If he makes another movie or show im watching it for sure!
does anyone know that comedy central tried to copyright HIS NAME!??? and you wonder why he told them to fuck off when he was actually gonna be picked up by HBO to make it uncensored...
that was the time he left and took that long leave of absence saying he was in south africa or whatever.. he was on sabbatical or whatever.. I think he told them Im rich beeotch , took the money and ran while he could before they could oust him... I still await when he comes to HBO and gives CC the middle finger for being the frauds they are.
Phant4sm i know a famous haute couture designer in NYC who lost his own name to fucked up white suits. Hes working again but under another name. corporate are scum bags
The first time I saw Dave was on a Comedy Central commercial break about the Susan Smith case and the police sketch of a random black male that she claimed took her boys. Dave said, when he saw the sketch, "Damn! I thought I did it for a minute", I was a fan after that. Favorite Chappell Show sketch? Tyrone doing a anti-drug talk in front of a elementary school class.
Dave Chappelle turned down a "whopping 50 million dollars". That's how everyone likes to put it especially the suits holding the contract. To Chappelle, he turned down a paycheck valued at only 10% of what the show was worth.
yeah.. that didn't go to well for Iron Mike in IP man 3 Donnie Yen kicked his ass.. however tho.. I was surprised that Tyson could even step up and choreograph a well played fight out blocking his punches.. Never saw that coming.
Sad thing is the younger people have no idea about the characters he created. I have a shirt with Tyrone Biggums on it. I get comments on it almost every time I wear it, but no one under like 25 gets it.....
I'm 21 and have watched his shows. I have first watched them when I was 10, back in 2005. I didn't have cable but me cousin luckily downloaded episodes to his ipod. Ever since then, I fell in love.
"what the five fingers say, sslapp" Tyron ginkins , Clayton Biggsby, good golly that is funny shit, to bad people can't handle this anymore, sure glad I got to see Dave do his show. comedy gold.
I love Dave just because how real he is. His comedy is not just any comedy, his comedy sometimes has a deeper meaning to it (Ex: Tron's law & order and the sketch of the trial of MJ and R. Kelly) and I thought he did the right thing to walk away when it got out of hand.
i honestly never felt that hyped when i've seen dave on snl. i mean.... how could u NOT follow up with a new show after that?????? i have to think really hard to find something i was this hyped for.
Omar Omokhodion and people use to literally castrate falsettos so they would always sing like "angels" - the world changed and that shit doesn't apply the same way so don't use some super old ass Roman bullshit as the reasoning.
To me, Dave Cheppelle is a lot like Chris Farley. In the way that they took comedy and completely resuscitated it during their comedic generation, right before their brightness unexpectedly burnt out. So glad Dave is still with us.
I like bill BURR, he is funny BUT I can see that. I feel protective of Dave, Id proably hate whomever dave said fault it was for causing him so much strife. feel like he has earned a lot of respect for what he did. Hope so,he deserves it. Notice they haven't worked together since. I had no clue who he was when the show first aired (bill burr)

Dave Chappelle was/is a fantastic comedian. I've seen him do standup before when he came to my area. I really hope we see him make a full-time comeback.
i think Dave underestimated how funny he was and how good he was, at comedy, to think we ever laughed "at him", like he says, he thought. we always laughed at how hilarious his views were delivered. If you ever read this Dave, know that.
I think it's one those things that it probably stopped at a good time, if it was still going now people probably wouldn't care anymore or it would be considered corny.
Riz2336 The fact that he's back older and unfunnier just ruins my legendary memories about him. All those anti-depressants and constant smoking has fucked him up
+Looper : Its funny how just because A movie doesn't make a hit at the box office doesn't mean it cant become a hit after, There are allot of movies that became hits later like "Half Baked" Is known as a stoner classic. Yall should make a list about that or maybe watch mojo will do it.
For his Walking Dead parody sketch on SNL, he should've brought back Rick James just so he can finally kill him off. No disrespect to the real Rick James of course.
Even though I wasn't a total fan of the political bs on snl Dave is in the top 3 of all time comedians. Of course my opinion glad it's not yours. Cheers mates
Listen to Joe Rogan's JRE Podcast with Neal Brennan ("The white guy") to also get Neal's side of the story. It makes things a lot clearer. Also the Oprah Interview, The Actor's Studio Retrospective and the David Letterman Interviews will give you the full picture. Shouldn't take any longer than two hours to watch all of the above but you will get the full story and it will be very clear what really happened
Daves show was not expected to be the success it became. When the show grossed $500 mill, on what was a 50/50 contract, the network executives told DC that the show made too much for the contract to be valid and offered him £50 mill. When he refused to accept, the unleashed the media on him!
Can we all agree that when Dave was on SNL, for a brief moment, it became Chappelle's show and it was glorious?
Mike Custalow yes thats all i thought
Mike Custalow First time I watched SNL since the early 2000s.
Mike Custalow
yes
Mike Custalow yes
THat Clayton Bigsby back story is hilarious lmao
It was funny as hell, and only chappelle could pull that one off!!
Dave chapelle did something beautiful. he made us laugh about race instead of getting offended by it
Yeah but he also used the N word and other racist words and it made it seems like anyone can say them, mainly white kids repeated it, not in a racist way but to be funny like Dave Chappele I'm sure Dave thought of those repercussions.
suppose you're right about that, but thats what parents are for. They are meant to smack the shit out of them when you hear garbage come from their mouths
+Coconutszz that moment you try too troll but fail
A white guy would say that lmao
And then he got offended by it
The Tupac "I wrote this song in 94" sketch.
I like Prince and Wayne Brady. 2pac one was also great!
"Dave Chappelle that's not your wife." LoL
"That ain't your wife*" Remember so many mistake it for "an asian wife:"
back in ninety foeeeeee
like CJ from San Andreas
comedy central refused to pay him future royalties that would have been owed to him over the coarse of the next several years which would have greatly exceeded $50mil so they created the whole smear campaign about him on drugs and having mental issues to discredit him. kind of shady of looper for not including that because that's part of the biggest and untold reasons why the show came to an end.

Jean Paul Mbengi ur right
Comedy Central tried to jack Dave so he quit
I sure hope he is a part of the future in entertainment, because he is second to none!
We took him for granted
Nah, he just bugged out
For moral reasons
we didn't, Comedy Central did. They only wanted to pay him 50 million dollars. The show was worth half a billion.
he interpreted the contract as selling out like "here's 50 mil now run the show like this"
SawBlood45 sad part is comedy central is still making money and doesn't care. Business is not for the faint of heart. they tried to destroy chappelle
I think netflix should bring back chappelles show
Akhil Maripally HELL YEAH!
Netflix has their ways...
comedy central has a contract with hulu, all comedy central shows are on there
Netflix just signed Dave to 3 new specials for $60 mil. So happy for him.
Wow 60m$
The blind white supremacist is the greatest sketch of all time.
Chadwick Gray sup bruh lol
Spragga!! LOL!
Chadwick Gray I CAN'T UNDERSTAND YOU! GO BACK TO YOUR COUNTRY!
Chadwick Gray HAHAHA
AirZingis Do you also wear the makeup and red nose being such a clown?
Have you Seen Dave Chappelle on SNL though!? He killed it! 😂
that's probably why they made this video
RJ and PAULA Who hasn't? It gotten over 7 million hits in 2 days
You mean the literal reason this video was created? yeah. they and we have seen it.
Yes maam, he sure did!
Yeah his clone killed it
Playa Hater's ball and racial draft were some of my favorites
Yes! Love the Racial Draft. Very underrated sketch!
Absolutely!! Hilarious!!
what can I say about that coat that hasn't already been said about Afghannystan
And created by a white guy.
What's your favorite Chappelle's Show skit?
The blind KKK, you?
Looper The time haters skit was my favorite
Looper All of them
Looper Tyrone Biggums
Looper black white supremacist

Even *J. Cole* says in his song Runaway..... *Could I runaway from 50 mil, like Dave chapelle*
Dave is the goat of comedy
truth
Meechaveli G59 naw Richard Pryor
Meechaveli G59 Eddie Murphy raw is the best
Meechaveli G59 no doubt about it man :) I'm Rick James bitch!!!! Hahaha
Dave Chappelle is one of the funniest comedians to ever walk on to the stage. He is a talented actor and anything he has ever been in is funny as hell. I hope he continues his career in the future, the entertainment industry is a better place with him in it.....
You're right. F... COMEDY CENTRAL
The only positive thing about Chappelle not having done much over the past decade is that he isn't dead and can pick it all back up whenever he wants. There is great sadness for all the talent that died far too early. Hopefully Dave will keep making us laugh again for a long time.
TazTalksYouListen well another positive is that he isn't very funny
"The saddest thing in life is waisted talent." - Lorenzo Bronx Tale
Chris Trujillo The funniest thing about you will be when you stop breathing, Sarah. Don't keep us waiting.
TazTalksYouListen oh damn you're right like fuck you're so funny
+Chris Trujillo salty?
Im talkin bout George W. Smith from city council. He ran in '93 out in Oakland. You prolly didnt hear about him.

I wrote this song a long time ago... a real long time ago, FEEL ME
And if you hit this table ONE MO TIME then record might skip, might skip.... see I told you.... stop hitting the table
Yo, Tupac! Rest in peace!
OKAY, I WILL!!!!
I didn't know that he had such a hard time breaking into the Hollywood scene. It's a shame that he was booed off stage and had so many flops, just to get a hit show that he left so shortly. It's almost as if something was telling him that TV wasn't meant to be his forte and to stick with stand up comedy.
bunsipod u sort of have to have experiences like that so u can get better
Some people aren't meant to have a boss. That's the power of stand up: just a man and his mic.
bunsipod tv was his forte, he just needs to have complete control of it. Therefore he should start his own RUclips channel and patreon and make bank. Hell if he did a GoFundMe he would get all the cash he needs to produce it.
He had a very hard time...he had 19 pilots that were rejected by the networks, he was known as "pilot boy"
This probably has something to do why CC all of a sudden released every episode for free online as soon as it was announced that would be hosting SNL
Oubim Cius because it wasn't true
What does it have to do with that?
Daves show was not expected to be the success it became. When the show grossed $500 mill, on what was a 50/50 contract, the network executives told DC that the show made too much for the contract to be valid and offered him £50 mill. When he refused to accept, the unleashed the media on him!
Oubim Cius 500 mil ? WTF...
Right now would be a great time for him to relaunch his show, people could really use a good laugh about all of this stuff instead of more controversy
Foorgut Mipants Netflix should give him a special
Foorgut Mipants he's back doing stand up
Darius Beasley I know, hes never stop stand up a lot of people don't know but he's been doing stand up for many yrs after the chappelle show there's a stand up on RUclips of his that's 4 hrs long
KymSalabim
There is an 8hr one as well that looks to be roughly 8-10yo because it's before he got ripped. It's fucking hilarious too. There is also a few more recent ones that are also great. Like you said he has never stopped and certainly never stopped being funny
to pc now show would never work today
The reason he ended it is because he didn't want to sell his soul. He himself even talks on it
True !
Is he a Muslim?
I thought you were joking, but I looked it up. Wikipedia says he converted to Islam in 1998.
Daves show was not expected to be the success it became. When the show grossed $500 mill, on what was a 50/50 contract, the network executives told DC that the show made too much for the contract to be valid and offered him £50 mill. Comedy Central wanted to make the skits more and more racist and thought it would be okay because a black man is telling the jokes.
BINGO!
Kevin K.C. So that's what Dave meant when people were laughing AT HIM rather than laughing with him? Dang, Dave was smart to not let it get too far then. He didn't sell out blackpeople-joke and kept it real humble. What an inspiration.

Doing great now
Dave told this story on the tonight show about showing Kanye some unreleased Chappelle show skits and it was the best story about Kanye West I have ever heard.
Dave Chappelle was also in the movies Robin Hood: Men in Tights and the comedy Con Air
If it stars Nicolas Cage, it's always a comedy

I appreciate a summary that doesn't overblow the drama or make anything up to make things more exciting. Thank you.

Ay Looper, Wrap it up B!

so did CC keep the rights to Chappelle Show?
that as of saturday is undetermined since he used characters from the show on SNL.. I really cant answer that one.
Phant4sm i know a famous haute couture designer in NYC who lost his own name to fucked up white suits. Hes working again but under another name. corporate are scum bags
Dudes a genius and a rebel to boot he’s a true original no one will ever do it like he did on his show, no one.

Thumbs up for Dave to see
The one where Dave got Oprah pregnant.
Dave Chappelle turned down a "whopping 50 million dollars". That's how everyone likes to put it especially the suits holding the contract. To Chappelle, he turned down a paycheck valued at only 10% of what the show was worth.
Never got those guys yelling "I'm Rick James bitch!" at his gigs.. What're they gonna do if they meet Tyson? "Yo Mike, punch me in the face!"
Ostkreutz Rox id gladly take a punch from Tyson
yeah.. that didn't go to well for Iron Mike in IP man 3 Donnie Yen kicked his ass.. however tho.. I was surprised that Tyson could even step up and choreograph a well played fight out blocking his punches.. Never saw that coming.
Steve O ran into Tyson's fist and busted his nose on purpose at a Comedy Central roast.
Loui P yeah im sure you would.
I read that line with Mike Tyson's voice
I love his comedy! So talented and original. I was thrilled to see him on SNL.
Wtf.. did you just use Buzzfeed as a source..?
Buzzfeed??
EarlGrey I was thinking the same ... smh

it was an interview, so I dont see why its bad
Such great memories watching this show, one of the all time greats
Sad thing is the younger people have no idea about the characters he created. I have a shirt with Tyrone Biggums on it. I get comments on it almost every time I wear it, but no one under like 25 gets it.....
I'm 16, been watching since age 13. He's very funny
Billy Mech I'm 18 :p and I've watched this show since I was kid with my brother! probably wasn't the best show to watch as kid 😂
I'm 21 and have watched his shows. I have first watched them when I was 10, back in 2005. I didn't have cable but me cousin luckily downloaded episodes to his ipod. Ever since then, I fell in love.
The world needs Dave Chappelle back right now more than ever!!!!!
my favorite sketch was the one about the deaf rapper. "Turn my headphones up"
Marcus Baxley "Put some treble in it, thats my word!" lol
Jose Barrios The story goes...one night....late in the ghetto, my man fisticuffs got shot nine times in his ear.
"what the five fingers say, sslapp" Tyron ginkins , Clayton Biggsby, good golly that is funny shit, to bad people can't handle this anymore, sure glad I got to see Dave do his show. comedy gold.
This is seriously one of the funniest shows of all time. It's a shame they quit making it.
the most funny comedian in recent times. sad he had to end his show early 😓
Like for one of the greatest skits of all time "Prince VS Charlie Murphy" So Funny! When he lets go of the rim and just floats in mid air lmao....
I love Dave just because how real he is. His comedy is not just any comedy, his comedy sometimes has a deeper meaning to it (Ex: Tron's law & order and the sketch of the trial of MJ and R. Kelly) and I thought he did the right thing to walk away when it got out of hand.
he also was in Robin Hood Men in Tights
dat movie is dope af
i honestly never felt that hyped when i've seen dave on snl.
i mean.... how could u NOT follow up with a new show after that??????
i have to think really hard to find something i was this hyped for.
*_talk about the Hollywood Rituals that made him want to wear a SKIRT_*
mk ultra
exactly
yeah i like how he avoided that.
Skirts used to be the symbol of male dominance during the Roman Era.
Omar Omokhodion and people use to literally castrate falsettos so they would always sing like "angels" - the world changed and that shit doesn't apply the same way so don't use some super old ass Roman bullshit as the reasoning.
we will always miss you, nothing but good times & smiles when I hear the name Dave Chappelle
half baked was pretty good
look at the hills it was. It was just after it was in box office that people realized that.
Yes
Oh yes, Cuban B
I hardly ever even watch SNL but ive probably seen daves sketch on snl like ten times at least. Still hilarious. Hes still got it.
wow!!! a real fan now!!!
It's amazing how feel about something or someone after you find out something (lol) you did not know!!!!
great comment!!!
That's part of the fun!
Kane Hamilton corky is that you lol?
To me, Dave Cheppelle is a lot like Chris Farley. In the way that they took comedy and completely resuscitated it during their comedic generation, right before their brightness unexpectedly burnt out. So glad Dave is still with us.
Bill burr was the white guy that laghed to hard at the racial pixie sketch 😅
Wait is this for real or just a joke?
source.
Robot Guy,Player's Ball,Pixie Sketch...I still occasionally watch my dvds when I need a Dave Chappell fix
Why did Clayton Bigsby divorce his wife?😂
Mitch Hop I ain't marrying no nigga lova 😂

Mitch Hop Because she's a n*##@ lover!
Dave Chappelle was/is a fantastic comedian. I've seen him do standup before when he came to my area. I really hope we see him make a full-time comeback.
Imagine if HBO picked up the Chapelle show!
Premium Chappelle needs to happen!
^^^Fuckin A!
Love Dave, glad he's back on tv
"Fuck yo couch ngga" I will never forget that one xD
i think Dave underestimated how funny he was and how good he was, at comedy, to think we ever laughed "at him", like he says, he thought. we always laughed at how hilarious his views were delivered. If you ever read this Dave, know that.
R Kelly remix was probs my favourite
So much about this show will stay with me forever!
I knew all of this. Wow, thanks a lot, Looper.
Sweet video man. WOOGIE BOOGIE!!
I think it's one those things that it probably stopped at a good time, if it was still going now people probably wouldn't care anymore or it would be considered corny.
Riz2336 explain Kevin heart then
Riz2336 The fact that he's back older and unfunnier just ruins my legendary memories about him.
All those anti-depressants and constant smoking has fucked him up
What an icon. I wish I grew up with him. Such a funny, smart, quick witted man. I miss him still to this day
*SNL was dope. Chappelle hasn't lose a beat. *
DOOOOD, i was literally watching Dave Chappels comedy things on RUclips yesterday after like... forever
+Looper : Its funny how just because A movie doesn't make a hit at the box office doesn't mean it cant become a hit after, There are allot of movies that became hits later like "Half Baked" Is known as a stoner classic. Yall should make a list about that or maybe watch mojo will do it.
WatchMojo does videos on anything, I think they have a video called "Top 10 Types of Bread" in the works right now
Ryan Trepanier You aren't serious right? lol!! 😂😂😂
best comedy TV series of all time...I really miss it and may have to break the DVDs out soon
he should make his own show on you tube. no one will tell him what to do.
This was Awesome!!!...I miss Dave chappelle :-(
Damn chapelle is too real he should be president.
Yessss.. the robot guy always made me laughed. It was like, where's Waldo🤣.
Where's Ja???
lol😂
Please come back Dave....we all miss Charlie, Rick James, and Prince even more now because of you and Neal....
Chappelle is back biatch!!!
Dave was in tool time and I see him but didn't know him at that time awesome kinda , I still remember the episode ^^
Never knew about the pixie sketch until this.
Damien Lee it was an extra on the rerelease of the complete series as part of the lost episodes... Can find it for like 10 bucks at walmart
What's the song played during this video called?
For his Walking Dead parody sketch on SNL, he should've brought back Rick James just so he can finally kill him off. No disrespect to the real Rick James of course.
ginnrollins211 what about prince
+three Bruises It probably would've been too soon. Did people randomly reference Prince to Dave as much as they referenced Rick James?
A ooh did i miss the 5 a clock free crack give away, alright Wanda
This man's a living comedy legend.
If you want Wack Arnold's, you gots to go through me!!!
Ignorant Commenter "You cut off!!"
Very talented man, and I'm sure his sick of hell of the Rick James stuff, but still digs Rick's tracks--because they are KILLER!
I may be in minority but I find his stand up comedy far more superior to Chappelle's Show
World Series of Dice...unforgettable!
Even though I wasn't a total fan of the political bs on snl Dave is in the top 3 of all time comedians. Of course my opinion glad it's not yours. Cheers mates
I love the Rick James sketches. I bought all of Dave Chappelle seasons on DVD. I miss the Chappelle show. "Am rich bitch" LOL
I'll watch eventually, but can you give a short summary of Brennan's end of the story?
Aki U same
Neg Ative Why? Neal wanted to continue.....but Dave made it clear. Neal's a greedy bastard.
Daves show was not expected to be the success it became. When the show grossed $500 mill, on what was a 50/50 contract, the network executives told DC that the show made too much for the contract to be valid and offered him £50 mill. When he refused to accept, the unleashed the media on him!
Glad to see him back
what is chappelle show
I'd tell you what my favorite Chapelle Show skit was, but I can't becuase...
I PLEAD THE FIF!!!
