I remember hearing this when I was living with an ex of mine. We lived together for 6 months before I moved out. I really wanted things to work out and she didn't. This came on one night when her and I were coming home from work and I remember crying my eyes out. I won't get into all the details about it. Recently I've been trying to remember what song it was and finally did. This is truly a beautiful song and will always have a deep place in my heart.

It seemed I searched forever, but what was the time we spent together when in relation to it- it meant nothing compared to the forever of you being gone. My most sincere thank you for this song, Evergrey and Carina.
This song will always hit deep. From losing someone who was very close in my life due to cancer, losing my Grandmother due to Alzheimer's and fighting darkest of dark times due to my fight with alcohol addiction. I always turned to this song to find strength through it all. Evergrey will always be a band that I take to heart!
