As much as I miss Roy, this guy is what you call a proper replacement. Someone who doesn't have to be the same person as the last guy to still fill the hole left in the act (no innuendo intended).
I honestly wish that Dimmu Borgir learned this.
The video shows a person fighting aganst shadows, almost like representing his fears. So He starts to pray and in the video the sun shines directly to Tommy at some moments, like is prays have been answered, and then he realises that the problems are inside his head, there is someone in it's head,. When he get rid of this other inside his mind he unfolds his tongue and relesases his hear, he fights his fears and started everything to comeback to it's place and he starts to say what happened.

I don't know much about Kamelot but oh my god what a voice...
This band is amazing. They can connect with your emotions. The way they play/sing sounds as if they were in those situations. I feel as though they can speak for most of us if not all. It was a great honor seeing them live and hearing this song. Thank you so much Kamelot.

after 3 years from Roy's departure I have finally accepted Tommy as the new singer. First I was a bit hesitant of his capabilities but now I think he'll do just fine as the "new" singer

+Tatu Siitonen Hey so my ex boyfriend and his best friend introduce me to this band I would say about 7 or 8 months ago I am in love with it but I did not start listening to it when Roy was the lead singer why did he leave to begin with ?. I've heard a lot of his songs but I've only known the lead singer as Tommy. Before I started reading the comments and putting to and to together. No one told me that there was two different singers, so do you mind helping me out I've really been trying to understand but I'm still a little confused. How long was Roy the lead singer ?. Why did he decide to leave who picked Tommy and how long has he been the singer ?. I love this band and I'd just like to understand it a little better. So it would be really appreciated if you could or whoever else wants to answer my questions.

I didn't know this was about God and Hell. I was paying attention to the sound of the band rather than the in depth meaning of the words. I'm non religious, but I still love the song.

This band is perfect. I just found out about them this year, so I have not heard any songs by Roy Khan except The Haunting. Tommy is perfect. These lyrics are perfect. The album Silverthorn I listen to everyday and I still love it. Kamelot and Tommy Karevik fan forever!
Then you should get to listening to some pre-Silverthorn albums. Tommy is good but Roy is better. My personal favourites are The Fourth Legacy and Ghost Opera/Black Halo.

Found this band a couple of weeks ago. I'm So in love with Tommy's vocals. I listened some of the songs by Khan but i just think that he is good but Tommy is just perfection. And now I'm Karevic fan, too lol ♥

Fangirling so much over Tommy Karevik. I must be one of the few that prefer Kamelot with him as a vocalist (even though i enjoy both!)..Both Silverthorn and Haven are amazing.

I love Roy Khan and his voice with a passion, and no one will ever replace him. However, I am really looking forward to hearing Tommy sing the old songs. They could re-record everything and I would listen to all of it, Roy's and Tommy's version.

Even though Tommy's and Roy's vioces are similar, I like Kamelot a LOT better now! :) I think Tommy is a blast!!! He has tons of energy and his performance is always so passionate and devoted to what he is singing! I saw them live before Silverthorn came out and back then I was so excited looking forward to a studio record with Tommy's voice! And of course I was not dissapointed at all with Silverthorn! lml,
When Khan left Kamelot, I was afraid the band was going to head in a wrong direction. But in Tommy's hands, Kamelot is definitely still the amazing band I've come to love!

If you listen to the CD, those lyrics are actually part of the intro track of the album, not a part of Sacrimony itself, they used it on the video, cause it fit good :)

Kamelot is by far the best Power Metal band of the last decade or so.
Great Music, Great voices, Great lyrics, Great production and Videos . Stuff to relate to and enjoy no matter how many times you listen to them.Its a pity Hellas is never in their plans to visit. If i ever get the chance ill gather money to invite them myself..

I can't find any other band like Kamelot. They have this amazing way of combining metal with some haunting, enchanting sounds like a choir or violins. Amazing. :)
nice dark futuristic/apocalyptic-goth feel...and their grans vision appears to be consistent across and throughout their work...I like that.

Definitely one of the best from the new era.
I remember listening for the first time to this album. I remember that i didn't like it. Now, after I have listened to it for several times I find it really amazing. I didn't like it because it was different, but now I can see that different doesn't mean worse, and I do not understand people who bash Tommy and "new kamelot" . They're both great :)

Been a fan of Kamelot since Khan's days, I was hoping that the new singer would be able to fit Roy's shoes, and now I'm more than happy knowing that Tommy is doing an outstanding job. He is the right guy to be singing with Kamelot!
