Roy has achieved something that many singers can't.....his voice is EMOTIONAL....he makes you think you are actually in the song,feeling its beauty...

When I listened to this song for the first time on RUclips, my wife was sitting next to me (who's not a metal fan), and when the song finished she asked me to re-play it again.
She now listens to Kamelot because of this song.

ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS IVE EVER LISTENED TO IN MY LIFE!!!
This was actually the first song i heard from kamelot when i was a freshman in high school. at the time i did not know this was roy khans last video before leaving :(. but he did leave his mark on this last song.
Kamelot never sounded this dark, but the result is once again astonishing! I think Youngblood plays his best solo ever from 2:30 to 3:10
Roy has resigned definetively from kamelot... he will be really missed. He was a really big inspiration, for me and am sure for a lot of fans out there too. His voice is really unique and his style had change a lot of paradigms in the power/progresive metal. i wish the best for him and his future, he gave us a lot of masterpieces like this amazing song and it wont be forgotten.

One thing I'm thankful of, despite the Norwegian lead singer, they're easy to understand, so you don't fall in love with the music but get stuck somewhere trying to decipher what the heck the singer is saying...I've been listening to these guys now for a few days and love every song!
That was quite possibly the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life.
This whole song kicks some major ass, especially the guitar solo and the drums, both are phenomenal!
Man, the more I listen to this song, the better it gets! That's the sign of a great song....one that you like a lot on the first listen, but then it keeps getting better with each repeated listen. This cd is going to rock! I already bought my pre-order, and I'm eagerly counting down the minutes!
Farewell Khan, your voice will be forever missed, I pity the poor guy who is to follow you in this band, for there is no way he will be able to match your pure energetic and haunting voice, and will always be compared to you, you've certainly made for a hard act to follow good sir, best of luck in the future!

It really is amazing how much Kamelot has evolved musically. They continue to impress me.
Why is it that music like this isn't played on the radio...I can understand bands like Gojira or Chimaira, but this is downright beautiful...Astounding job Kamelot, keep up the good work...

This is the unholy fusion of Rule the World and March of Mephisto. AND IT IS GLORIOUS. I got this album preordered. I get the feeling this is gonna be one of the best Kamelot albums.
Kamelot, Disturbed, Evanescence, Breaking Benjamin, Linking Park, Three Days Grace, all are awesome...
My favorite are Kamelot+Disturbed. Both solists got awesome voices...

Kamelot has done some amazing things with this album, and from the samples I have heard this is going to be nothing less than an Epic Album. And this song/video is all around amazing.... Live Long and Rock Hard Kamelot.

I've been a fan for a long time, and I love the new album along with the new video... at least this band tries to do something different unlike some that try to repeat themselves. That's why I have so much respect for this band. Great job Kamelot on another masterpiece!

and again kamelot pleases the ears of the corupt and twisted with dark, disturbeing and hauntingly beutifull lyrics and a sound only those who truly apreciate music and the poetic aspects of a dark soul and pure heart, with a minde of origenality and change. :)

@dedantemon This is the only song with growling on it, and the band brought in a guest vocalist on this track. I love the type of growling on this song, and it brings variety to the song. This tune is so multi-faceted that it blows my mind. Kamelot incorporated a ton of different elements in this song, and it works perfectly. Also, the growling is due to the part of a character in the song. The Great Pandemonium is a form of hell in literature, so that's why there is the harsher vocals
We were due to go see Kamelot tonight, but saddened to find out that they had canceled the rest of their US tour due to Roy being sick. Get better soon so we can rock like we were due to tonight Roy! Can't wait to see you guys in concert!

For anyone thinking about not going because Khan won't be singing; please reconsider. Any other band would have cancelled the tour, but Kamelot's so dedicated to you guys that they decided to press on anyway.
man ive watched this so many times now and heard it so many times, still a badass amazing jam!! the whole album is actually, I listen to the album everyday at work for 8 hrs lol needless to say i smile all day cus of it, I love all the songs, some more than others, my favs are Hunters season, poetry for the poisoned(all 4) and once upon a time...good job Kamelot, uve done it yet again

I love the black halo album better but this song is okay
The Black Halo is probably my favorite album by them, but I do love this song. It has a nice mix of clean vocals and distorted vocals, nice tempo and a great solo.

Roy Khan is and will always be the best of Kamelot, men like him there and even if it costs too much to find someone who can replace him will always remain in the hearts of his followers. Because his voice was unique and he just exuded feelings with music.
No way in hell this wasn't inspired by Paradise Lost. That book/poem is incredible! This song compliments it perfectly. A victory without a fall would be meaningless! A victory from a fall makes the victory worth having. Long and hard is the way, that from hell we rise to the light.

Even Kamelot, at their absolute worst with this song, is better than anything Pierce the Veil or Bring Me The Horizon ever put out.

i think i just fell in love with kamelot even more then i thought was possible
jkr is exactly right. There is so much in this album on every song that a first run through it merely introduces you to the surface. After several listens it gets deeper and deeper. This is still one of my top favorites on the album.

Hopefully Roy's illness isn't that bad. Without him, Kamelot would never be the same, in my opinion. He's an amazing guy, both artistically and personally.
