I still remember the first time I heard this song. So many years ago, but it still leaves such an impact. Heartfelt lyrics, and a huge melody to boot. It's a classic in my book.
This is by far one of the most emotional metal songs ever sung. Roy Khan is missed by the whole world, but i really hope he's healthy and happy where ever he is.
This songs have a soul... it's not just a song, when you listen to kamelot's old songs you feel that they were composed and writed with all the effort and dedication. The product: a prodigious final work that made us(fans) feel like this group made their job.
I ran across Kamelot while listening to a metal station on Pandora. I'm so glad, definitely has changed my life when regarding music; my most favorite band ever.
I'm a huge Kamelot fan, but I just heard this song for the first time. It brought me to tears. I know everyone's told about how they've lost friends, but I lost my dad when I was 11. It still hurts today and in a few days it'll be seven years he's been gone. This song somehow reminded me of him and how I still miss him so much. Thank you, Kamelot.
•Kamelot - Love you to death •Type O' Negative - Love you to death •London After Midnight - Love you to death 3 different bands 3 different songs 1 same title All are awesome 🖤
Khan, if you are reading this from time to time - TAKE CARE OF YOUR AMASING VOICE! We want to enjoy it for several decades to come!!! Dear members of Kamelot, thank you for your music. Due to a recent Death in my Family and a very similar story (as seen and heard in video) this song touched me in ways that i could never imagine.Thank you.
When they met she was fifteen Like a black rose blooming wild And she already knew she was gonna die "What's tomorrow without you? Is this our last goodbye" She got weaker every day As the autumn leaves flew by Until one day, she told him, "This is when I die" "What was summer like for you?" She asked him with a smile "What's tomorrow without you?" He silently replied She said, "I will always be with you I'm the anchor of your sorrow There's no end to what I'll do 'Cause I love you, I love you to death" But the sorrow went too deep The mountain fell too steep And the wounds would never heal 'Cause the pain of the loss was more than he could feel He said, "I will always be with you By the anchor of my sorrow All I know, or ever knew, Is I love you, I love you to death" "What's tomorrow without you? Is this our last goodbye?" [Solo] "I will always be with you I'm the anchor of your sorrow There's no end to what I'll do 'Cause I love you"
Sadly, we, who love the best music in the world, are now the underground society, but hearing songs such as this one is the best feeling as far as the music goes :)
Any band that means anything has ballads. This song is beautiful. There is no such thing as emo in this song. No cutting wrists, no "girlfriend leaving" crying. This is just an emotional song.
I've never been one for any form of Metal music but......this one.....is my new #1 favorite of all time. The story tries to portray such a deep feeling, one indescribable by words and just hits it right on the nail, and I know because I've felt it before. I've been through this song before, only roles were reversed. This is my reminder that it was real.
I still can't listen to this song without crying. My husband had lupus and it was severe. He spent 8 months in the hospital before he died. That was April 1st. He was only 32.
Yesterday it were 3 weeks ago my best friend hung herself in our towns park, at her favourite tree. She were my best friend, I knew that she had a rough childhood, but I didnt know it was this bad..., 1 week before she died she showed me this song, she told me to carefully listen to the lyrics. Even angels need to come home, some just have to leave early, even though how much it hurts. We shared some beautiful weekends togheter, now shes gone. Love you Melinda
One of the most beautiful songs i ever heard. Really touched me and i bet all those who are human and can feel. Those who dislike that song should not even live, they have nothing human in them. Too bad Khan left the band. Such a great vocal will surely be missed!
Ive been a fan of kamelot since 2001 when I bought "Karma" and was blown away by the Intro to "Forever" and was hooked ever since, "Center of the Universe" is my favorite followed by "Until Kingdom Come"
Shame that Roy doesn't get more publicity in North America. Probably the greatest vocalist I have ever heard based upon raw emotion, talent and he seems really passionate.
I almost never watch music videos because I'm sick of seeing low-resolution footage of a band playing in a warehouse, or on a helipad, or in an abandoned factory, or in a forest, etc., and the meaning of the song being completely discarded in the process. I checked this out on a whim and was extremely impressed. This video makes sense in the context of the lyrics, was shot beautifully in greyscale, and does an incredible song some real justice. I love Kamelot!
Sweet sweet.... Takes me back to the old days... and one of the most important human beeing that passed through my life... Wish I could travel to time back to that period of time.... I will always love you!
Sincerely, it was not of the type of person who listens to metal, but this band, I am charmed with the music, the letter but more that quite the voice of the vocalist, not if they will agree but it has the voice of a god 0.0 ! ALIVE KAMELOT!
We will always be with you, Kamelot ! And thank you Roy Khan, for all these years in Kamelot, even if I listen to the group only since 16.10.2009... First song was Love You to Death, thanks to my boyfriend, who made me heard this... Kamelot... Forever.
The intro really reminded me of Assassins Creed 2 for some reason, the feeling I get from it is very similair. I wonder if there were some Kamelot fans among the creators of the soundtrack, or if it's just coincidence.
I don't think anyone has or will ever have such an amazing voice as him, he sends vibes of emotion through your ears, yet it hits your heart the most. Absolutely amazing the amount of emotion he musters in his voice. I get this weird feeling after i listen to this song....
ballonshape - You are semi-correct with Scandinavia. Lol. Roy Khan is from Norway and their current vocalist, Tommy Karevik is from Sweden. Their keyboardist, Oliver Palotai is from Germany as well. The rest of the band is American. If you get a chance to see them live, I highly recommend it. I've seen them 4 times and they always kick ass. 1st time I saw them, they opened for Nightwish. I thought they were gonna upstage NW. Lol
The singer here was, Norway actually. It's a mostly European genre and they play to mostly European audiences. Kamelot is the only American band of note in the genre
Possibly the most masterful use of Emotional intrigue in a storyline music vid Ive ever seen. This is amazing. Even the band members are amazing actors in their own right, but especialy the vocalists, including backup this band employs are incredible. I cannot believe that I, myself, have only just recently discovered them.
I was listening to all of my Kamelot discography today. This song came on and halfway through I got super excited. I ran into the bathroom and went to load my bong and I guess I was too excited because my fingers tipped it over and it shattered. I broke my bong to this song. RIP Bong #10 I loved you to death. This song is one of the best songs of all time. What a beautiful song. I wish I could meet a woman who loved me like this.
A friend of mine introduced me to kamelot and i love this song i know its sad and but u feel for her and her lover and family and i love the lyrics the girl sings what's tomorrow without you ? This is our last goodbye what's the summer like you? asked him with a smile what's tomorrow without you? be silently replied she said i will always be with you I'm the anchor of your sorrow there's no end to what I'll do cause i love you i love you to death but the sorrow went too deep the mountain fell too steep and wounds never heal cause the pain was more than he could feel he said i will always be with you I'm anchor of your sorrow all i know or ever knew is i love you , i love you to death what's tomorrow without you ? is this last goodbye?
Ok I'm clearly late, I know this band since.... rather 10 days ? I would like to have known this band earlier to live their evolution. So, there's a begining to everything....
I just love the way metal vidoes always paint this picture or emotion, always surprising us on what can it bring from deep within us... god I wish all the music would meet this standard
I'm not crying. I'm not crying. I'm not.. Well I am crying like a river of tears or so...
+Hati Wolfheart me too
Me to!!!
Your not alone.
The emotion on Roy's face when he sings is like the best part about this video
I still remember the first time I heard this song. So many years ago, but it still leaves such an impact. Heartfelt lyrics, and a huge melody to boot. It's a classic in my book.
Same feelings here
I have to agree with you. Still makes me cry
Anti Radical 2007 it was.....feel the same way here
This is by far one of the most emotional metal songs ever sung. Roy Khan is missed by the whole world, but i really hope he's healthy and happy where ever he is.
Absolutely love this track.
This songs have a soul... it's not just a song, when you listen to kamelot's old songs you feel that they were composed and writed with all the effort and dedication. The product: a prodigious final work that made us(fans) feel like this group made their job.

This song is filled with beauty and tragedy. It took me a while to be able to listen to this song without tearing up.
Sadly, we, who love the best music in the world, are now the underground society, but hearing songs such as this one is the best feeling as far as the music goes :)
The vocals are heavenly...
Wow...
Anyone else cry/have chills all over? This is the first time I've heard this song...man.. wow.
12 years later and this pearl still causes me shivers
Any band that means anything has ballads. This song is beautiful. There is no such thing as emo in this song. No cutting wrists, no "girlfriend leaving" crying. This is just an emotional song.
uma obra de arte digna de grandes artistas.
Why is this song so perfect ...!? 😭❤️
What a beautiful sad love song.True love never fades not even after death
One of the best lyrics i have ever heard in my life in metal industry, and its been 25 years so far! i started to listen metal at age of 5 :D
me of 11!!! I'm crying very time i listen that song
It makes me sad to know he left. I just recently found out about this band (3 weeks ago) and I fell head over heels over their unique art.
This song has pulled one girl away from Kpop and a different one away from Country over to Kamelot. I call that a success.
Wow I got cold chills when the woman's voice hit
Amanda Somerville is sadly underrated
Radhika Bianchi I've been wondering her name for obviously years. Thanx :)
Michael Bricker
You're welcome! :)
SHE IS A GODDESS!
So much quality....no words can express
I've never been one for any form of Metal music but......this one.....is my new #1 favorite of all time. I just turned a die-hard country fan into a Kamelot fan with this song. Long live symphonic metal!
The guitar solo is simply amazing in this song.
I don't know why but whenever he sings the 'I will always be with you' part it gives me shivers down my spine...
If I had a dollar for everytime I listened to this song....
Those feelings, my god my body is shaking... i love kamelot and ROy
This is only song that makes me cry for no reason.
Trully a masterpice!
I don't hear metal music, but what I found with Kamelot is great words with rhythms make you going deep with words feeling....Nice at all.....
Love this so much, but even so it is so sad.Always a Classic in my Book.

I don't think Kamelot can ever be the same without Khan :| Such a great singer, we'll miss you so much
That's a beautiful way to be loved....
I still can't listen to this song without crying. My husband had lupus and it was severe. He spent 8 months in the hospital before he died. That was April 1st. He was only 32.
Algum BR que curte ? Nostalgia 😍

One of the most beautiful songs i ever heard. Really touched me and i bet all those who are human and can feel. Those who dislike that song should not even live, they have nothing human in them.
Too bad Khan left the band. Such a great vocal will surely be missed!
Most beautiful moment of this song...them performing it for a marriage announcement at a show in Fort Worth.
This song is perfect...
I'd love to see Amanda Somerville on videoclip
Ive been a fan of kamelot since 2001 when I bought "Karma" and was blown away by the Intro to "Forever" and was hooked ever since, "Center of the Universe" is my favorite followed by "Until Kingdom Come"
Shame that Roy doesn't get more publicity in North America. Probably the greatest vocalist I have ever heard based upon raw emotion, talent and he seems really passionate.
Even though Roy was not at the concert last night, Fabio rocked that stage! It was such an awesome concert!
Cry everytime :'( so so beautiful
I love the way both of the voices work together, it really brings out the emotion. This is easily one of the greatest songs of all time.
I love Kamelot!
one of my favorite songs of all time. the feels are so strong. i don't care if roy's voice has gone out. the music left behind is ageless.
Freaking epic song
wow you can tell i have a serious addiction to this song....already heard it 48 times in a row lol...great song, love the story behind it
its one always sticks in my mind and one that reminds of heartbreak but beautiful music all the same
Sweet sweet.... Takes me back to the old days... and one of the most important human beeing that passed through my life... Wish I could travel to time back to that period of time.... I will always love you!
Eu amo essa musica! ela marcou uma espoca maravilhosa da minha vida !

the bands like phantom of the opera meets the dark ages meets the god of rock and roll. seriously this band is so original and so good.
We will always be with you, Kamelot !
And thank you Roy Khan, for all these years in Kamelot, even if I listen to the group only since 16.10.2009... First song was Love You to Death, thanks to my boyfriend, who made me heard this...
Kamelot... Forever.
This is better than most shit that comes on the radio or is mainstream.
One of the best songs I have heard in a long time, so much passion and emotion. I love it
is one of best songs , KAMELOT
This song is so beautiful. I've been listening to it regularly for almost 10 years. Still moves me every time. So very powerful. Incredible vocals. ❤
The intro really reminded me of Assassins Creed 2 for some reason, the feeling I get from it is very similair. I wonder if there were some Kamelot fans among the creators of the soundtrack, or if it's just coincidence.
+MrArcaneRuins good point about AC2 :)
I don't think anyone has or will ever have such an amazing voice as him, he sends vibes of emotion through your ears, yet it hits your heart the most. Absolutely amazing the amount of emotion he musters in his voice. I get this weird feeling after i listen to this song....
that song make me cry ,its really awesome
Beautiful, I could listen to his voice all night long.
I don't think I've ever seen a song and video that go so well together.
Very atmospheric and that outro has a sense of infinite timelessness.
First Time ever I hear this song.. and I love it from the intro till the end.. Roy Khan is amazing! and she's also really good! WOOW!
Amo este tema
I swear I almost started crying at the chorus when I first listened to this song... and songs never made me cry before. This is so beautiful.
"I will always be with you
By the anchor of my sorrow
All I know, or ever knew,
Is I love you, I love you to death"
saw kamelot live in Dublin and they were awesome love this song so much
Can't believe a band this good is actually from USA. For long time I thought they were from Scandinavia.

Roy Khan is from Norway and their new vocalist is from Sweden, so they do have Scandinavian members xD
They aren't from the U.S..
US baby, at least we got this thing right.
First time I'll ever openly admit that a song made me a cry. I'm just glad it was this one.
I will always love this song
Possibly the most masterful use of Emotional intrigue in a storyline music vid Ive ever seen. This is amazing. 10 years already i m listen it
Every time I listen to this Kamelot's masterpiece I feel that I am listening it to the first time and I love it again and again ...
damn reminds me of an Assasin's creed song! :O Well, the introduction remind me of an AC games
I was listening to all of my Kamelot discography today. This song came on and halfway through I got super excited. I'm convinced that the level of melodrama in Kamelot's music videos are proportional to just how FRIGGEN AMAZING the song in question is.
these guys are wicked
I still can't get enough of this song. Truly amazing
So epic
Just heard this song for the first time - made me choke up. That touched me, Kamelot...
Her mother breaking down is so sad! :'(
Khan, if you are reading this from time to time - TAKE CARE OF YOUR AMASING VOICE! We want to enjoy it for several decades to come!!!
Ok I'm clearly late, I know this band since.... rather 10 days ? I would like to have known this band earlier to live their evolution. So, there's a begining to everything....
God damn it. Why does this band never fail to make me cry??
Eternal...
Beautiful music, lyrics and voice.
Esse solo
Esse?
OMG! This song... I love this song, it's so sad and yet so beautiful. One of the best songs of the album
It's song, remember me a dream.
Every time I think it's settled in a minor key, it becomes major again. Such a harmonically convoluted piece. Kamelot is truly the greatest band!
Hail from Texas.....
I just love the way metal vidoes always paint this picture or emotion, always surprising us on what can it bring from deep within us... god I wish all the music would meet this standard
