I've had all T-Touch series since 1999. Using them 24/7. They clearly proved why Swiss standards are renowned for their quality. I can't however find any detailed review on ablogtowatch. And I am really surprised this perfect balanced features/style/battery life watch lost your attention. Please do a full review again and also note the newer versions coming out soon. Especially with your contacts and great background information. And the newly released v2.0 software. Apart from the 1st one I've always waited 1-2 years before changing to the latest models mainly for style. And also nice price drops. In your review please pay attention to many of the daily practical useages. - Visibility during night time. - No need to switch on screen due to mechanical dails. - Tissot has their own software platform and is really quick and user friendly. In general I have always thrown my bucks at the clear Titanium versions. Strap as well as case. As it's my daily user. And there is an obvious reason why there aren't coated straps. New series do come with other materials straps in different colours. But I'll likely stick with what always served me well. I think it's a great business watch. There are of course other watches which are better suited for fitness. Though I'm not keen on ever lasting messages of what I should do in order to be healthier. This watch shows your commitment to quality rather than gadgets and excessive features. I never see people use their Apple or Google watches to call or read and type. I do enjoy outdoors and camping. But these are the exact days I want to disconnect from my phone to the maximum. No ringing, just important messages (only receive WhatsApp notifications) and weather forecasts or compass is all I want to see. Plus some timer alarms while smoking some nice food while sipping in a hammock. Same as great independancy of chargers.
Wow I wish there was a "how the internal mechanism works" because its absolutely genius of the engineers to on one hand build the needles thats connected to the gear for time hands and on compass mode its freely suspending. Amazing
Switching from a g shock mudmaster (old version) which I have had for five years,it is a Great watch, but in my opinion just a little too heavy for me,I have tried this on and can't believe how light it is,I was undecided at the time because of the price, but after thinking about it and this great review, I've decided to pull the trigger and I'm looking forward to it being delivered in black and orange,if you want the best you have to go for it.👍
Me 2, for years I had Casio (Pro Trek, Rangeman)... really in doubt to switch from japanese to Swiss but after doing more and more research I start to become convinced to purchase this 1...
It looks like the issue of the misaligned second hand has been addressed in this latest version. I returned two of the original versions because the second hand was quite a way out and so when you accessed any of the functions and the hands should point directly upwards, the second hand was misaligned and using the hand alignment function did not correct it. I got my money back and bought a Garmin instead. It is nice to see that yours appears to have hands that are aligned, which is what you'd expect from a Swiss watchmaker.
I really like your reviews and your website, been watching and visiting for years. You have a great way of presenting the features, and a wide variety of watches you review. Thank you, keep up the great work! Subscribed.

How big is the strap / what size is your wrist (for reference) - looks like you had strap in the last hole - I have skinny arms, just wondering if it might be too big ??
I have just received mine and it is almost impossible to read in the dark, you have to unlock it and then scroll to Time 1 (if you have it set to show the date originally), Only the hour and minute hand are glowing slightly and not very bright.. Disappointed as the promo shots of this give the impression that more of the face is visible in the dark.
I just bought one of these and I am super disappointed to find out that the app that connects with your smartphone is almost completely useless. I haven't been able to successfully connect and apparently this is the complaint that everyone has. Sure wish they would fix this issue.
I got one but I can't use it because it only says charging and the second stick is moving since the last three days due to some error or glitch, pls help me.
I really like it but I hope they done away with some of the glitches like the old solar cell and it used to be issues with the dial I would like this one however it's a no for me because of the charging dock they should have held it back until they can make it pure solar.

Synchronization of this watch via phone lags the phone's actual clock time by a a second or more. This issue was pointed out to Tissot shortly after release, and they have never bothered to fix it unfortunately. Other brands like Casio are able to synchronize their watches precisely via Bluetooth and the phone. This is type of sloppiness is not acceptable in this price range.

I like this watch, but I wonder about useful life expectancy. The changes in tech are happening so quickly. How long do you think these features and this tech will remain relevant?
@@Mark-Gillis that's what I'm worried about. I already have a nice watch collection including 2 Rolexes so unless I can get serious time with this it would be a waste.
Well I’ve been wearing the same Apple Watch for two years and the same Fitbit for about the same. And with this watch you can always disconnect the Bluetooth and skip the connected features all together. But hey - you mentioned you had two Rolexes (way to flex) so you don’t need one of these
@TheSeaStarProject lol, I have a watch obsession. The same Christmas I bought a Rolex I also bought a Citizen. I wasn't sure about smart watches, but I needed something to play music while I exercise so I did take the plunge a couple months ago. I got a Samsung Galaxy watch and a Tag Heuer x Super Mario connected. I ended up liking the smart watches much more than I expected. Now I only break out a Rolex if I need to flex or I'm going somewhere special.

I bought the t touch solar, a few years ago, and that thing literally started to fall apart within a year. I've never dropped or abused that watch, and still...total junk. I will never understand how a $ 1000 watch, with a famous name, could be of such low quality. The digital screen slowly turned white, the buttons started to get stuck, and one day it just fell off my wrist, because the silicone band became briddle and broke
One important drawback: the wake-up sound is almost inaudible: not loud enough to wake-up you in the morning. I return the watch to Tissot to fix the issue and they told me that the sound level was OK. Unacceptable at this price level. They should fix this issue.
They did. It’s called Sea-Touch and has among others, depth gauge and dive log. There are two main versions: in meters and in feet. Sadly it’s discontinued and hard to obtain. At least the orange meters one. It was never a bestseller.
Hello, I enjoyed your video… but …. You said something dangerous for your t touch and for others owners. I have my t touch from 2012… and it’s totally forbidden to open this watch if your not the Tissot center. I’m from France, and jewelers and watches sellers agreed by Tissot ARE NOT allowed to open a T-Touch at all !!! Why ? Because they have some parts to change if they open, this watch have a tactile sapphire and there is a specific maintenance process. And if you don’t respect this process, you will have, in some month, water infiltration. You can make the water test, it’s not enough at all. The damages are so expensive, it can cost half of the price of the watch. Please, call Tissot’s customers support.

had mine a week and I’m more than happy with the watch. It’s exactly what I wanted and give me notifications the way I use them. The app, for my purposes, is pretty useless. They could and should improve that. However, the app isn’t even close to a deal breaker on purchasing the watch from my perspective. That’s what I was trying to avoid was needing to access my phone to make good use of the watch.

The tech is useable - notifies me of calls, and messages without being too obvious or intrusive.
