Finally a watch that looks like a watch and not like a toy watch. Apple watch is alright but the charging every day makes me sick. And the watch can way toooo much nobody needs. Tissot finally shows me what I need and the battery lasts forever. Who needs more fitness information? Or: do you want to work out or do you only want to collect fitness information.
very good point - as mentioned in the comments, Tissot is not trying to compete with apple but offers a more compact version of a smart watch. As you said, do you really need so many features?

This watch is almost my dream watch: real watch construction with display and best solar energy solution. Only missing 2 things: integrated memory for bluetooth music (too much power ?) And NFC payment...
I'd live without BT music, as it would require much bigger battery, but NFC payment would make me go to the shop to try this watch on my hand. Just because of this feature I use Fitbit band, which otherwise is weird and not very well designed.
Hello one big question, nobody really ask it and I struggle to find the response on the net. Does this watch display received notifications ? Mainly like message, WhatsApp, calendar, call ? Does it vibrate ? I ask that because I love Swiss Watch but I’ve habits with Apple Watch mainly no need to take out your phone when you receive a basic notification
It does indeed displays notification, you can chose which app will send notifications to the watch and yes it vibrates and could also give a sound if configured that way
Waterprrof only 5 ATM - the older version T-Touch Connect Solar offered 10 ATM (I think this is normal for a sports watch). Do you know why Tissot did there a downgrade?
If you compare the design of the case of this one and the previous T-Touch watches, you clearly can spot a difference in the case design: The Connect Sport goes for a more sleek and thin design compared to its predecessors. This means, as soon as you go for a more elegant and soft design of the case, there will be a tradeoff in robustness.
I like the watch very much but I do agree that sport watch with WR rating not enough to ensure safety during simple swimming is not the best design choice and I hope Tissot will improve it in next gen.

I have the last model of Tissot T Touch Beautiful watch, well made Great solar But their app sucks Like they're stuck in 1988 Garmin Tactix Delta is light years ahead of the game.
The bezel is not the rotating one and by no means this is not a diver watch with splash WR of only 50m which is a real shame and missed oportunity. Yes you can scroll to home or second time zone time on the display.
The watch looks great, but I don't understand why Tissot doesn't add a payment solution. NFC doesn't use a lot of battery energy and within the group there's an existing solution "SWATCH PAY". Do you have any background information about this? Or will Tissot provide a payment solution in the future?
They payment solution is quite a huge challange, since you have to get a licence for each country and is also depending on political situation. What i have heard so far is, the possibility to equipe this watch with a payment solution is there and could happen at some point through upcoming updates. One thing is for sure, this watch has technically an impressive base and leaves room for huge updates :)

I've asked the exact same question to Tissot directly and they answered that it wasn't in their plan to integrate the swatch pay feature which is technically too complex could cause after sale difficulty for the brand. Original response (in french sorry): "Nous vous remercions de nous avoir contactés et vous informons que l'intégration de cette fonctionnalité ne s'inscrit pas dans les projets de la marque Tissot. La complexité technique de ce système et de son service après-vente n'est pas envisageable pour notre marque." So I won't be as optimistic as @LesAmbassadeurs-Watches sorry guys
Could you give some more details on the app? For example, do tracked workouts count against daily active minutes? Does the app show activity over time (months, years)...?

I have an frederiqe constant and its a really nice hybrid watch. But it fails hard to show the display/backlight when your outside, or when there is much light inside. Its very hard ti see. How does the tissot back light work?
What's the lifespan of such touch screens? The phone touch screens have a short life. Obsolescence aside, how many years can I expect this watch to run?
Depends what you are planing to do: If you drop it from the 10th floor it won't last that long. For the proper use, i am sure many years the display won't be a problem and the watch will work fine :) This leads to the conclusion why the Tissot can't be compared to a Swatch or Samsung Watch: This watch still has the quality attributes of a swiss watch, proving high quality materials and manufacturing.
I have just received the watch and I am missing one basic stat: sum of all burned calories during the day i.e. calories estimated based on steps, calories burned during multiple activities during a day. I also don't see any estimation about calories burned during resting. Could you please advise if that measures are available in the watch or app and where to find it? I switched from Garmin Instinct and this seems to be a significant lack for me. Thank you Side note, it would be nice in the next versions of the software to be able to switch off colors of the watch's screen and have black/white mode.

Because what i found out was "The energy burned is calculated by the app, based on multiple data, the distance covered, movement speed, rate of climb, etc., as well as your personal data entered in the Tissot app." Maybe within the app you will find all these detailed stats, can you check please?

Have the previous t-touch connect solar. Amazing watch. Does the sport have full time heart rate monitoring, HRV tracking and sleep tracking? These are things that keep a garmin on my wrist at the minute. But would love a hybrid that also did all the full time metrics. Still a gorgeous watch. Cheers
Right now there is only the heart rate monotoring so far but could change in the future through updates. Sorry if i ask but is there a healthy reason you need all these functions regarding the heart rate? If not, i would still consider the Tissot if you are thinking to get a traditional watch with smart functions...
I know it's not ideal solution and I also hope that sleep tracking will be added later on but for now one need use separate device to track sleep, be it smart ring or fitness band with such capability. I'm personally use fitbit charge 6 which also give some additional insights if user is breathing fine during sleep, I have this device anyway to track other metrics when I like to wear mechanical watch instead of smartwatch. Fitness band or ring would be even smaller and nicer but I wanted convienience of notifications when wear mechanical watch.
yes, you can pick up a call but not talk through the watch and not use it as an microphone. Also SMS, What`sApp and Mails should be displayed when receiving them.

Considering buying one, I have some questions that I don't seem to find answers to on the Internet... Hello & sorry for the late reply. This is a hybrid watch which means, the movement is run by solar energy. You can connect it to your mobile device and track your sport activities. Please note, you will be able to dismiss or accept calls, but not use it as an microphone or yet as a payment tool. Basically summarized, this watch is an classic everyday watch but also an highly advanced measurement tool for certain sport activities.
Is it possible to adjust what information is shown, when the display gets activated ? 03:41 ( In the video it shows Date and counted steps ) Can it also show the digital time ?
Currently there is no way to change what's displayed on first screen. Itl may (or may not) be added later on as it seems that Tissot is still developing it. You can scroll menu to display digital time for home and one other time zone (not both at once).

I have more than 1 year searching for a watch with these functionalities, so a watch not to look like a toy watch but with smart functionalities. I use every notifications in the watch and they are essential to me but also watch esthetics so this watch fulfills both of them.
@@jozef1605 aha, got it. Please not that in this scenario the watch is not 100% straight and the angle of the perception could deceive. While having the watch in my hands, i did not notice this when looking from a straight angle.

I really like this watch. My concern is is this tissot t- touch reliable? I curently have citizen skyhawk eco drive watch since 2012. Still working like new. Will this last for around 10 years?
Until now never heard of any regular issues regarding the T-Touch. I think Tissot has for sure a better quality than the Citizen i would say - with no disrespect :)
right now it does not include swimming, but ongoing future updates may include it :) The good thing about this watch is, it will always add new features through updates.
Not likely as its only 5atm water proof. It means swimming with watch is not recommended. I would advice to google for water resistance classes description to make own decision.
@@tomasz5274 Not sure to understand why it's not recommended, I understand that it's pressure based and you cannot just say ok you can go 50m deep but to reach this level of pressure, you should be quite a machine, I don't feel it's really limiting unless you want to swim hard at 10m deep or am I missing something?
@@zonartfpv I would say it may be best to google water resistance levels and associated recommendations for 50m from few independent sources and make own decision.
My practice is running in competition. No GPS inside the watch is a real problem for me (i can't run with phone). So this watch is not for me. Maybe the next version...
Maybe just delete the watch from the tissot app and aswell from your mobile phone and do everything from scratch - helps so many times :) If it does not work, let me know.
I love the look and feel of this watch. I had it demonstrated to me by a Tissot expert in Zermatt and tried it on- it was perfect but I was disappointed that it could not display tide data or moon phases. These things are a must have in a hybrid watch for those who surf, spend time boating or who enjoy fishing. Another handy feature for travellers or those who have family in other countries is a duel time function. Surely Tissot you can tweak the software in the app to display this data on the watch also. I would buy one in a millisecond! Many of us want smart watch features other than just sport performance data.
I understand your feedback but i also think since this is the first generation they will for sure upate the features. As you said, personally i also liked the feel and how good this watch looks. Because to be honest, many hybrid watches do not look appealing to me...

Ich hätte gerne alle meine Vital- und Sportmonitor Daten (auch von anderen Uhren) auf einer Plattform gesammelt. - Kann die Grösse der Zahlen in der digitalen Anzeige maximiert werden? Das abgerundete Design der digitalen Informationsfläche nimmt unnötig Platz ein. Klar, es sieht stilistisch schick aus, aber die Lesbarkeit der Zahlen wäre bei maximaler Ausnützung des Screens besser. Vor allem im Sportmode, d.h. in der Dynamik ist die Lesbarkeit, je grösser die Zahl, desto besser. (Lesbarkeit bei z.B. der TTouch2 ist durch die grösseren Digitalen Zahlen fast besser) - Die Stoppwatch Anzeige fadet nach einer gewissen Zeit aus und ich muss manuell die Anzeige wieder aktivieren. Das ist hinderlich bei gewissen Anforderungen. Gibt es die Möglichkeit, dass die Stoppuhr "always on" ist? (ähnlich wie bei der TTouch2, wo die Stoppuhr immer sichtbar bleibt....) - Gibt es von Tissot Bestrebungen, dass die Funktionen der Touch Sport in das Gehäuse der Touch Connect implementiert wird, d.h. dass mit einem grösseren Gehäuse gerechnet werden könnte? Hallo & besten Dank für diese sehr interessanten Fragen :) -> Google Fit sollte auch laut Google mit der T-Touch Sport funktionieren -> Die Zahlen der Digitalen Anzeige können derzeit nicht verändert werden -> Das Fade Out der Stopwatchanzeige kann nicht eingestellt werden -> Aktuell gibt es betreffend dem Gehäuse keine Informationen ob dies ein Thema ist - vor allem da eigentlich das Gegenteil von der Mehrheit gewünscht war, nämlich kompakteres Gehäuse. Nichtdestotrotz habe ich deine Anfrage zu Tissot weitergeleitet um meine Aussagen ggf zu korrigieren oder zu ergänzen. Melde mich bei dir sobald wir ein Feedback haben :)
Depends, if there is a strong sunlight it will be difficult as for all other watches. During the shooting i had a quite good experience in this regard but that's just my personal opinion...
Using it daily, I can tell that the screen is really bright and handles sunlight very well, I didn't experience any issues reading the screen even in bright sunlight

It's OK on my 17cm/6.7inch wrist and it's smaller than Tissot Connect Solar. It would be nice if Tissot would keep 100m WR on the Sport for swimming activities instead of reducing it to 50m and make one more model: a hybrid with notifications and step counter but targeted for casual use without HR sensor to save space and allow to make the watch smaller and thinner.
Manual mention that when setting up watch for the first time or after factory reset you can choose autonomous mode and set up time manually. I guess without connection to phone most of functionalities wouldn’t work/be available.
It’s only 5atm water proof. Check google search results about it to decide for yourself but usually it says that 5atm is not recommended for swimming :/
You may also take a look into Alpine AlpinerX (older one is with LCD display and newer one with Amoled) which is also hybrid watch but with 100m WR. Keep in mind it's older design so display doesn't seems to be too responsive in YT reviews. The Tissot display is much more snappier and looks better to me :)
Hi, I have my blue connect sport and I really love it. Would be better if you could customize it more though. For exemple show the time digitally with 1 press. Or make the characters a bit larger.

As you charge 945,-ChF, please tell me why I shouldn’t buy a Apple Watch ultra? It’s the same price range, provides much more functionality, better water resistance, is over all much more robust and the glamour factor is higher! In comparison the T-Touch isn’t even worth half of the charged price!
Upfront i would like to mention that what i am going to say i don't mean it in a disrespectful way at all but let's be real: Still don't understand why the Apple Gadget is called a watch, since it is clearly an extension of your mobile device rather than a proper watch. Eventually what many apple "watch" user admit is, they still have a "real" watch which can't be replaced by the apple gadget. Tissot clearly has found here a way to extend your mobile device while keeping traditional values of the swiss watchmaking heritage alive. Look at the Tissot, you can wear it at any occasion and fits even with a suite and escapes the label of "being a smartwatch or only a traditional watch".

I get the idea that many people use a watch as an investment but eventually i always say, choose a watch because you love it regardless what the future will bring in terms of buy back value. What is the difference between a sport and a regular one?
Have the previous t-touch connect solar. Amazing watch.
Does the sport have full time heart rate monitoring, HRV tracking and sleep tracking? These are things that keep a garmin on my wrist at the minute. But would love a hybrid that also did all the full time metrics.

Right now there is only the heart rate monotoring so far but could change in the future through updates. Sorry if i ask but is there a healthy reason you need all these functions regarding the heart rate? If not, i would still consider the Tissot if you are thinking to get a traditional watch with smart functions...
I know it's not ideal solution and I also hope that sleep tracking will be added later on but for now one need use separate device to track sleep, be it smart ring or fitness band with such capability.
I'm personally use fitbit charge 6 which also give some additional insights if user is breathing fine during sleep, I have this device anyway to track other metrics when I like to wear mechanical watch instead of smartwatch.
Fitness band or ring would be even smaller and nicer but I wanted convienience of notifications when wear mechanical watch.
Does it still do notifications? Is the screen now amoled?
yes, you can pick up a call but not talk through the watch and not use it as an microphone. Also SMS, What`sApp and Mails should be displayed when receiving them.
By when the app will be available in other countries? Without the app the watch will be useless. Currently only for use in Switzerland......😞
This is a frequently asked question and so far, we do not have any specific launch dates for other countries.
Hi, I emailed Tissot about availability in Ireland. They gonna launch the watch next month, so I guess in other countries also will be available in March.

The iOS app is available (at least in UK). The watch is expected to be available in UK in next two months (subject to change).
Considering buying one, I have some questions that I don't seem to find answers to on the Internet... What sport are we able to track on the watch (I only saw running, cycling and "activity", which seems like.a general tracker, and was wondering if there was swimming too). Is there a sleep tracker? So far it does not support these kind of supportive apps - for now.
I've asked Tissot for Strava integration and they replied that they'll make it available. When is still yet to be defined but I'm waiting on this too

This is a hybrid watch which means, the movement is run by solar energy. You can connect it to your mobile device and track your sport activities. Please note, you will be able to dismiss or accept calls, but not use it as an microphone or yet as a payment tool. Basically summarized, this watch is an classic everyday watch but also an highly advanced measurement tool for certain sport activities.

Currently there is no way to change what's displayed on first screen.
Itl may (or may not) be added later on as it seems that Tissot is still developing it.
You can scroll menu to display digital time for home and one other time zone (not both at once).

I have more than 1 year searching for a watch with these functionalities, so a watch not to look like a toy watch but with smart functionalities. I use every notifications in the watch and they are essential to me but also watch esthetics so this watch fulfills both of them.

@@jozef1605 aha, got it. Please not that in this scenario the watch is not 100% straight and the angle of the perception could deceive. While having the watch in my hands, i did not notice this when looking from a straight angle.

@@LesAmbassadeurs-Watches Sorry to contradict you but jozef1605 is right the second hand is not aligned with the markers on the watch, I've noticed that day 1 with mine and am a little disappointed with this but it's not that much of an issue, of course if you focus on it it will beg you at some point but when I look at the watch it's to check time not stay focus on seconds but I got his point

No notifications as available in the previous model? Is anyone know if they correct the alarm loudness issue of the previous model? Also, is induction charging still available?
There are notifications in sport model.
No induction charged is provided with the watch, there is magnetic cable one instead.
Alarm loudness is more than enough for me.

I really like this watch. My concern is is this tissot t- touch reliable? I curently have citizen skyhawk eco drive watch since 2012. Still working like new. Will this last for around 10 years?
Until now never heard of any regular issues regarding the T-Touch. I think Tissot has for sure a better quality than the Citizen i would say - with no disrespect :)
What about swimming tracking? :))
right now it does not include swimming, but ongoing future updates may include it :) The good thing about this watch is, it will always add new features through updates.
Not likely as its only 5atm water proof. It means swimming with watch is not recommended. I would advice to google for water resistance classes description to make own decision.
@@tomasz5274 Not sure to understand why it's not recommended, I understand that it's pressure based and you cannot just say ok you can go 50m deep but to reach this level of pressure, you should be quite a machine, I don't feel it's really limiting unless you want to swim hard at 10m deep or am I missing something?
@@zonartfpv I would say it may be best to google water resistance levels and associated recommendations for 50m from few independent sources and make own decision.

No, there is no GPS Modul directly integrated such as your device uses. GPS works only if you enable it on your device - all good, no worries ;-)
Not in the watch. For GPS functionality it needs to be connected to phone and it will then use phone GPS.
My practice is running in competition. No GPS inside the watch is a real problem for me (i can't run with phone). So this watch is not for me. Maybe the next version...

My Tissot Solar unpaired itself with my Tissot app and it's not wanting to pair up again. Do you have any suggestions on how to pair them again?
Maybe just delete the watch from the tissot app and aswell from your mobile phone and do everything from scratch - helps so many times :) If it does not work, let me know.
I love the look and feel of this watch. I had it demonstrated to me by a Tissot expert in Zermatt and tried it on- it was perfect but I was disappointed that it could not display tide data or moon phases. These things are a must have in a hybrid watch for those who surf, spend time boating or who enjoy fishing. Another handy feature for travellers or those who have family in other countries is a duel time function. Surely Tissot you can tweak the software in the app to display this data on the watch also. I would buy one in a millisecond! Many of us want smart watch features other than just sport performance data.
I understand your feedback but i also think since this is the first generation they will for sure upate the features. As you said, personally i also liked the feel and how good this watch looks. Because to be honest, many hybrid watches do not look appealing to me...

- Können die gesammelten Daten über Sportaktivitäten mit Google Fit synchronisiert werden? Ich hätte gerne alle meine Vital- und Sportmonitor Daten (auch von anderen Uhren) auf einer Plattform gesammelt.
- Kann die Grösse der Zahlen in der digitalen Anzeige maximiert werden? Das abgerundete Design der digitalen Informationsfläche nimmt unnötig Platz ein. Klar, es sieht stilistisch schick aus, aber die Lesbarkeit der Zahlen wäre bei maximaler Ausnützung des Screens besser. Vor allem im Sportmode, d.h. in der Dynamik ist die Lesbarkeit, je grösser die Zahl, desto besser. (Lesbarkeit bei z.B. der TTouch2 ist durch die grösseren Digitalen Zahlen fast besser)
- Die Stoppwatch Anzeige fadet nach einer gewissen Zeit aus und ich muss manuell die Anzeige wieder aktivieren. Das ist hinderlich bei gewissen Anforderungen. Gibt es die Möglichkeit, dass die Stoppuhr "always on" ist? (ähnlich wie bei der TTouch2, wo die Stoppuhr immer sichtbar bleibt....)
- Gibt es von Tissot Bestrebungen, dass die Funktionen der Touch Sport in das Gehäuse der Touch Connect implementiert wird, d.h. dass mit einem grösseren Gehäuse gerechnet werden könnte?

-> Aktuell gibt es betreffend dem Gehäuse keine Informationen ob dies ein Thema ist - vor allem da eigentlich das Gegenteil von der Mehrheit gewünscht war, nämlich kompakteres Gehäuse.

How is the visibility of the digital screen when your outside in the sunlight? Its almost impossible to see on a frederique constant watch
It's quite hard to see anything outside, also because of the screensize
Depends, if there is a strong sunlight it will be difficult as for all other watches. During the shooting i had a quite good experience in this regard but that's just my personal opinion...
Using it daily, I can tell that the screen is really bright and handles sunlight very well, I didn't experience any issues reading the screen even in bright sunlight
Does it need to recharge ? I mean is it having rechargeable battery ?
It is charged by sunlight as well but you can use the charger in case...

It's OK on my 17cm/6.7inch wrist and it's smaller than Tissot Connect Solar.
It would be nice if Tissot would keep 100m WR on the Sport for swimming activities instead of reducing it to 50m and make one more model:
a hybrid with notifications and step counter but targeted for casual use without HR sensor to save space and allow to make the watch smaller and thinner.

The main difference is that the Sport version has a pulse monitor and preset functions for sport activities.

Sport is not a small watch but it's significantly smaller than Solar one.
Do you need a phone for the watch to work?
yes, because without the phone you can not even use the time. The whole concept is based on a mobile device - IOS, Android or Harmony.
Manual mention that when setting up watch for the first time or after factory reset you can choose autonomous mode and set up time manually. I guess without connection to phone most of functionalities wouldn’t work/be available.
can we swim with this watch?!
It’s only 5atm water proof. Check google search results about it to decide for yourself but usually it says that 5atm is not recommended for swimming :/
You may also take a look into Alpine AlpinerX (older one is with LCD display and newer one with Amoled) which is also hybrid watch but with 100m WR.
Keep in mind it's older design so display doesn't seems to be too responsive in YT reviews.
The Tissot display is much more snappier and looks better to me :)

Hi, I have my blue connect sport and I really love it. Would be better if you could customize it more though. For exemple show the time digitally with 1 press. Or make the characters a bit larger.

As you charge 945,-ChF, please tell me why I shouldn’t buy a Apple Watch ultra? It’s the same price range, provides much more functionality, better water resistance, is over all much more robust and the glamour factor is higher! In comparison the T-Touch isn’t even worth half of the charged price!
Upfront i would like to mention that what i am going to say i don't mean it in a disrespectful way at all but let's be real: Still don't understand why the Apple Gadget is called a watch, since it is clearly an extension of your mobile device rather than a proper watch. Eventually what many apple "watch" user admit is, they still have a "real" watch which can't be replaced by the apple gadget. Tissot clearly has found here a way to extend your mobile device while keeping traditional values of the swiss watchmaking heritage alive. Look at the Tissot, you can wear it at any occasion and fits even with a suite and escapes the label of "being a smartwatch or only a traditional watch".

But in violent contrast to Quartz Watches it keeps the value over the years, even becoming more expensive. So I have it as store of value and it’s giving me pleasure when I wear it….

I get the idea that many people use a watch as an investment but eventually i always say, choose a watch because you love it regardless what the future will bring in terms of buy back value. What i also wanted to mention is, you have exactly the issue where you have to choose between a traditional or smart watch when you wear one - that's why the Tissot is so good, because it combines the two worlds.
The AWU is a service delivery platform primarily, while the Tissot is a quartz watch with limited connectivity features. Two different product categories for two different customers.

And in reality, most of your workers in Tissot stores are quite rude, uncultured and cynical. Which does not deviate much from the traditional "Switzerland hospitality".
