- Pendorra stylus is a battery powered active stylus that can work on all touchscreen devices, such as iOS, Android and Windows. It does not require Bluetooth for pairing, and works instantly when you switch on the power. It has a 2.2mm tip. There's no pressure sensitivity or palm rejection though.

So exactly the same like those giveaway rubber tip stylus that cost $1 in production.
Works the same way, except the tip here is smaller.
Bruh this pen is for devices that dont have a pen.
no pressure sensitive... I wish would mention that from the get go. moving on.

I own the rose gold version of this pen, I recommend getting a glove so you can rest your palm on the screen while drawing. (I made a glove out of a sock works fine lol) No pen pressure sensitivity (that could be a deal breaker but meh) I use a iPad mini 2 for my art and it works great. On bamboo paper, (the app) as showed, it doesn’t work that well. I would highly recommend this pen for note taking and I like it for art.

Good review. I don't see the advantage of an active stylus vs passive when it isn't integrated into the tablet's operating system or drawing applications.

Active may or may not be straighter. I'm currently using a Lenovo Active Pen with their Miix 510 and the performance is quite similar. However, the active pen is more accurate and in hover mode, palm rejection is perfect. That said, there's the Adonit Jot Pro (the one with the disc) that's also very accurate, except it has no palm rejection.
Active pen is more accurate (cursor always beneath tip) and in hover mode, palm rejection is perfect. However, lines from both active and capacitive styluses may still have the jitter effect when drawing diagonal lines slowly.
John Matthias Hi. I have the same opinion. Active is supposed to integrate with software making it easier to use. There is better motion detection and palm print rejection. I use less expensive passive styluses which are great for notes, some doodling and maneuvering the screen.

Can't get mine to work with Notes on my iPad Pro unless the note already exists. When I try to start a new Note, it does nothing. Can anyone help me with this problem? I haven't been able to find anything with regards to using Pendorra with Notes. Just drawing apps. Thanks
Do copper tip stylus' tip tend to bend or break?
Planning on buying a copper stylus. Been watching different copper stylus review. Was disappointed with a rubber stylus because rubber stylus tips have high friction and they tend to break. The rubber stylus I ordered only comes with 5 extra nibs. And the online shopping store I ordered it from does not sell rubber nib replacements. Pretty disappointing.

Screen protector is up to you. It will not affect accuracy.

Not as much friction compared to the rubber stylus definitely. It's going to be smooth on the glass screen. It does not have pressure sensitivity.

Perhaps the Adonit Dash 2. You have to read up on the HP pen, maybe it is better than the Adonit.

I've given up on active styluses for drawing because there isn't one that will compensate for low angles. Now I just draw on paper, photo it with my iPad and color it with Procreate with an inexpensive stylus.
+adrianS For the iPad non-pro, there isn't. But the Apple Pencil can do it on the iPad Pro.
Just do the same thing but with a computer and Paint Tool Sai

Which stylus would you recommend as the best drawing stylus on a budget? Most I see are around the 40 dollar mark. Is there are any cheaper ones you would recommend? I use an iPad mini 4 for illustrating and sketching. 💋🇦🇺 I mainly use adobe sketch adobe trace and photoshop.

For 2mm point stylus, the ones that I know of are the Adonit Dash 2 and Adonit Snap.

Adonit Snap is cheaper but has shorter battery life so you have to charge it more often. If you don't draw for so long, it's not going to run out of battery in a day.

Adonit Pixel has pressure sensitivity which is not necessary for handwriting. So it's best not to pay extra to buy features you don't use. For drawing purposes, I recommend Adonit Pixel. For taking notes, the other two which are cheaper.
Please help im using nokia3 and will use autodesk. Will this work on me too? And is there any other stylus that will work for me?

next time can you write faster just like writing in a paper or creating signature.....because some pen doesnt work on tempered glass.misallignment is not my problem but the cut or the line is cut..........when writing fast

Nice review. You say it works with all touchscreens. In there literature they mention IOS and Android. Nothing said about Windows. Maybe will work as a passive stylus.
It works like a capacitive or passive stylus so it works on all screens, except perhaps on laptop touchscreens.

I'm not sure about this stylus will work on the HP Envy. If the HP Envy can support some sort of stylus, then it can support this Adonit stylus. Some laptop touch screens are made for finger taps and not for drawing or writing with stylus.
Teoh Yi Chie so far the only one that works are the stylus with the rubber tip from what I've found yet I can connect the surface pen to it but no writeable capacity

put a ruler to make a fair judgement, it will misalign because the surface is not rough.

nice review! i draw a lot on my phone (nexus 6) and i use really cheap rubber pens. i like dotwork style so i attached the pen on my rotary tattoo machine and because its a rubber tip i can create layers of dots quite fast without damaging the screen. however i want to start drawing on a bigger screen so i'm looking for a tablet that have palm rejection and can still use rubber pens. for this style i dont need pressure sensitivity. do you have any tablet recommendation for my (digital dotwork) drawing purposes?

Teoh Yi Chie ha! just yesterday i was looking for that model but in my country, for some reason samsung doesn't import that model and as it seems they dont plan to do it. i was also looking for note samsung 10,1 2014 edition (with 3gb od RAM) and used models in great condition are around 250 euros. Yes my budget is quite tight so i dont know is there any other model i should look for or should i just buy this note?

in your personal opinion would the Pendorra Pen be good for just taking class notes. I don't plan to do art, but just take it my classes and write notes on my iPad Pro.

I have to say you maybe just got a bad Stylus. I just had one delivered from amazon and it has none of these issues you show. It has perfect orientation at all angles, no miss alignment issues at all in landscape or portrait mode on my iPad mini 2. I tried it with bamboo paper and the free draw part of the built in notes app. no issues at all.
Sometimes the tablet you use also matters.

will it pair to an ipad via bluetooth or wifi? i have CAD modeling software that specifically needs an apple pen-type stylus. my regular stylus doesn't work. i want a cheaper alternative to an apple pen with the SAME capabilities and general design. there are way too many tutorials on youtube that claim to teach you how to make "apple pen fo a dollah DUrr" but completely glaze over the fact that the apple pen is active and sends signals to the tablet via bluetooth. Does anyone with a brain know of any feasible alternative for not goddamn 100 bucks?

Those 2-in-1 laptop, if they cannot be detached into a tablet, don't work well with such stylus. They are designed for finger tap gestures only

I just took a look at the model and I'm not sure if it can work. You may want to borrow a stylus (those rubber tip ones) from someone to try first. I know for sure it doesn't work on normal touchscreen laptops (e.g. Dell XPS).

Michel Morrissette sorry you never had this answered. Active styluses use power to be more accurate.
Capacitive screen need a large surface for it to sent enough current on and detect it back, that's why a lot of non battery powered capacitive pen tend to have tip with the size of your fingertip.
With battery powered capacitive pen, the pen have its own power to distort the current on screen for the tablet to detect. So they can make the tip as small as possible

You should see if that laptop of yours has a stylus specifically made for it. If not, then I doubt there's a stylus that has palm rejection and pressure. I could be wrong though.
