If trucking wasn’t a little tough right now it’d be cool to see another new ford in the fleet. You’d be the guy to compare for sure. It would be neat to here your gripes, likes, and dislikes about some of those trailers also. I just added a 16gn to the fleet for some lighter stuff but the smaller axles always concern me. We’ll see.
Can't beat those trucks! Great vehicles every one I've owned. Still has lots life left in it if well maintained. Proper oil changes on time Is key but they strong & engines super durable!
Once I put the delete kit in with a minny tuner in my 08 I fell all over in love with it again. I run her on the hot side yearly see any black smoke. Just heat waves I'll keep her till she gives up.
Couldn’t you make much more with a long flatbed twin screw 60k gvwr straight truck? Why would you want to drive a pickup when your limited to 26000,when you can do over double w a much easier to drive more reliable straight truck. Gooseneck trailers are always needing work not even close to being reliable for over the road,axles brakes u bolts springs, lights…

I have my Class A CDL. I've been over the road for 10yrs. Right not I run a front discharge mixer. Good pay and really good benefits. Just miss over the road.
Flooring a truck up a mountain fully loaded does not show me much of anything in the real world if terms of MPG. It does seem that the power stroke uses 2-2.5 mpg more diesel when towing in the real world. Then Cummins/Aisin combo seems to be hard to beat.
In my experience the cummins always used to get better mileage that powerstrokes but new powerstrokes get better mileage than the cummins and are more powerful.
Any chance you would let me purchase that high millage F350? I really need to get a truck like that and I am trying to get started. Can you set something like that aside for me?

There have even been the true hardcore 'Stroke guys' lasting 400,000 in them 6.0 and even a few 6.4s. I would never buy one, but I guess that shows that if we dedicate 'while they hate', anything's possible, right? *I prefer the 75,000-mile theory, especially if you're making money primarily on the road or through wood cutters. A lot of Fords be hauling in the woods. Dodge was saved by the 12-Valve Cummins; Ford was saved by the F-150 and extremely stubborn owners!, lol I loved the video. I'm just being an asshole. :) Nothing personal.
@@davecampbell1452 I think the 7.3 is a much more reliable set up. Than any common rail truck. Catastrophic failure for fords 11 to 14 from turbo failure. Good trucks other than that and the death wobble in 17s

No comparison between the room in the back of a super duty and the back of a crew cab ram..
Fords always had more room than dodge, up until the mega cab ram, but then you lose your 8 ft bed

Yes he does, very few. Unless you have load heavy enough for dually, otherwise it's not worth having them due to fuel economy

Keep oil clean and when you have leaks ect maintain it, that's it, I'd delete the egr and def to make 500k
