Yours is definitely a better set up for work. Curious about your thoughts on this. Let’s say you run a 35x12.50 on your wheels. Or in my case. I’m running them on the factory ford wheels. I’ve always ran a Toyo or nitto. Have done a lot of towing. Not everyday like you and your guys. I’m sure you have ran the setup. Have you noticed a big difference in handling going 11” wide or 12.50. Also I notice I get more miles on a wider tire typically.
2.5 is too much if you ever want to tow anything imo. Personally, I don't think I'm going to lift or level my truck at all. Will probably get new wheels and slightly bigger tires: 285/65r20, which are like 34.6 vs the stock 34.1 tires and only about 5-8 lbs heavier each depending on brand so shouldn't mess with my effective gear ratio too much, or stick out too much.
Update us on you're fuel mileage once you drive for a while I went from stock 18" to 20" stocks and lost 1mpg oh well knew it was gonna happen but I wanted Chrome 😎
