Love your take on this! I’ve got one I made for myself sitting by my feet on my flight home from New Jersey to San Diego as I watched the video. It’s the standard size and fits perfectly under the seat in front of me-it stands up and there’s room for my size 11 foot under the seat next to it! I added a piece of my webbing across the back pocket as a trolley sleeve and it worked great! I also added a zipper pocket to the lining and smaller gusseted pockets below the zipper opening. It’s a great travel/work bag!
I made the Caravan quote with leather and Pendleton wool. Now I just finished the Oxbow tote I made with Tula Pink’s Tabby Road for my Mom Kitty. Your tutorials are great!
I would like to use the dritz zipper tape, but with a latex allergy I need to know if the adhesive is latex free. Dritz was no help. Is there anyone here with a latex allergy that knows of a safe tape? Thanks! ❤
Excited for this one! Love the box! I may swap out the interior fabric since I have a hard time seeing things in a large dark interior. Are there any hacks for adding a trolley sleeve on the back?
Great idea! I bet if you just made a pocket similar to the slip pocket, but a little shorter and finished on the bottom and don't sew the bottom down to the back panel you could definitely do the trolley sleeve!
Hi Jess! I AM SO EXCITED I FOUND YOU! Your links mention you are using a Juki TL-2010Q however, in your video you are using a Bernadina. Which Bernadina machine do you have? Do you recommend the Juki or Bernadina for bag making?
Friends picked this up for me from Quilt Canada 2024 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Cannot wait for her to send the kit to me! This will be a huge help. Thanks sew much Jess
I love making this bag and so happy it’s the kit this month. One question, what size rivets do you use on the strap? 8mm or 9mm? I want to buy a Kam snap tool with the right size rivet dies so I don’t have to use my hammer anymore.

If you’re using a mostly white fabric, would an air erasing marker be a good alternative for marking the quilt lines?
Great video instruction. Thank you😊
Watching while I sew my third Oxbow 😊.

@@OklaRoots do you think the distance between the straps is wide enough for a typical carry-on suitcase? At least for several inches at the bottom?
Would a standard clipboard fit in this?
Maker's Tote or Redwood Tote, please! 🙌🏻❤️

@Jess - Maybe I completely missed it but I'm looking at the info card in the box and I am not seeing a QR code for the pattern? HELP!

Woo! You're going to LOVE making it!
This bag is so easy I did it without Jess!
Without me??? And I thought we were friends 😂 (just kidding! It really is a wonderful pattern)
Will 1" webbing work for the strap handles? I don't think I have enough for handle straps and crossbody strap.

Have the bag boxes been sent?
I love this pattern and your instructions are excellent. I made mine out of upcycled jeans and slacks.
