I used to talk to this guy who introduced me to metronomy. Every time I listen to them I think of him and I wish him nothing but the best. I like to believe I'll meet him again.
Absolute masterpiece. Minimal, serial, melodical. The video fits the superb charm of the song perfectly. One can only be grateful for such beauty.

My grandparents on my fathers side, had an synthesizer just like the one in this track, right on the wall near the entrance to their house, I use to play it for hours and this song reminds me of it and in turns brings back nostalgia.

I used to live, love, work, be 20, on a street called Reservoir Road in Washington DC. And I remember going to a concert of Metronomy when they toured in DC, in 2011 I think. I was so happy at the time ! I would love to feel I haven't drifted far.
I love how this video references their previous music videos, including ones with Gabriel ("I could never take good care of you"). Seems like a melancholy reflection of how his band has evolved.

I spent several moths in Germany in 2016-2017. And I was listening this song on my way to the university. Now it reminds me of the most magical period of my life
Oh my god !!! This song is so fucking brilliant !!! I am blown away that I had never heard of Metronomy until I accidentally came across one of their tracks while doing a random google search haha. I can name a dozen obscure Colombian bands, but had never heard any music by Metronomy and now I am in love with all of their albums.
