surprised how well that worked! I have the dollar store mugs and black marking spray just sitting around forever. This looks too easy - gonna give it a try with my Ultra. Thank you for this!
I have really struggled with finding something that would give me a consistant engraving or marking on glass. I saw you video that suggested the CerMark spray. Wow finally can get consistant result this stuff works, crazy expensive but worth it. Thank you for the tip.
Your videos are so well explained and not 100 mph so easy to follow, unrelated question how large is your shop ...you have many pieces of equipment but doesn't seem crowded...Thanks and have a fantastic weekend
I understand using the rotary attachment so others can duplicate your work, just curious if you have tried the curve surface on the F1 Ultra for this type of application.
I started my library last night, thanks to a video of yours. I always wondered how people had libraries. Thanks, brother.
Cool, glad it helped
Brandy’s new cup looks great. Good job!
You should fill it with Hershey Kisses!
Too bad it was cracked… next try

Give it a shot, I think you'll like it.
Nice! Gives me encouragement on my next projects. I haven't even opened my rotator yet.

Go for it..
So cool. I did not realize we could do that on ceramic. I am already coming up with new ideas. Thanks.
It makes cool projects..

Glad it helps… that was the goal.
I love marking spray. You can mark nearly anything with it...with the right settings dialed in.
I agree
Thank you for doing this video lots of good information and tips.
Thanks, I hope it helped.
Great video! I have to try that!
Thanks
Great video. 80% of the audio is on the right channel. I only had the left earbud in. When the closing music started, it blew my ear out. LOL
New mics, I gotta figure them out…

Thanks, I have spent hours trying to maintain organization....

I haven’t, I just use a rotary for cylinders
New here , learning my first laser. Just curious how do you clean the marking spray off?
It is water soluble. Rinse with water.
The 70% works well, too. The 50% may need some elbow grease.
You can always sell the Clack Shack mugs.
Cool
Asking myself if it could be possible to engrave a pictures on coffee mug and cermark??
Possible, maybe. I suspect the results wouldn't be great
3D print yourself a adapter to raise the chuck and you can clear the handle
I have other machines with different chuck setups that are much bigger. Thanks though
Can I use just white paint on the cup? Like the method for engraving tiles.
I haven't tried it. Maybe...
Will this work using a diode laser as well? i.e. the Creality Falcon 2 22w?
I was using the 20 watt blue laser on the F1 ultra. yes.
So I was wondering if your settings are to high you said something about it chipping. Will it chip the ceramic?
It can remove the coating
Does etching destroy the waterproof glaze on the mug???
It is not etching, the spray bonds with the surface. It is kinda like powder coating.
@ yeah. I should a watched the whole show before I panicked. Sorry. Gotta get me a ‘small’ can of that marking spray.
What font did you use for the name?
It is called Black jack
Cute cat at 12:10
It was bed time, her bed is up the ladder in the loft area.
So,would you say it's bonding the spray to the mug? Would I be able to do this with the D1 Pro?
Should, with correct settings.
My wood mishaps I use as Firestarter lol that way NO EVIDENCE of any mishaps
That’s one way to do it
@@EtchinAaronslaserworkshop I do the same. We do a lot of camping so I do a lot of campfires. Destroy any evidence.
You should have yelled OPA an smash it lol
Ok
Weird right side audio only (when talking)
New mics, had to change settings
