Still nonetheless even if the Celtics win back to back and let’s say that’s it for his career. No more rings and not one MVP. We won’t remember him as top 10 player of all time or even top 50. Curry and KD won back to back but still some people argue whether Curry’s top 10 and if Kevin’s top 15 and they are both levels ahead of Tatum not to mention they didn’t go through 3 injury riddled teams without their best player to make the finals

They’ll remember him as the worst superstar that they can think of. There was a reason he didn’t play in the Olympics. It’s because he didn’t compare to anyone on the roster. And yes Tatum took out the Bucks in 7 games but without Kris Middleton. If he had played. That wouldn’t have happened
Healthy KP in the playoffs will matter more this year IMO. No hate to Horford, just teams are better around them. Injury luck always plays a role, but it is also hard for me to believe that that is the version of Tatum we will see. I think he will be much better come playoffs next year. Definitely going to be interesting.
Tatum is not the head of the snake bro, maybe from a marketing perspective he is. That team works on the court because they maximize everyone's strengths. It isnt about superstars for boston, its about basketball. Thats why they will win again. And I am a raptors fan...
Glad you understand that. Anyone can be the man on any night but the offense goes through Tatum most the time. It can also go through JB, White and even Pritchard or Holiday. So many options.
It feels like it. No team has been together long enough for it to feel like their bout to pop. OKC has upgrades but truthfully they’re still young and progress isn’t linear. They could easily lose in the first round cause everyone knows about them now. And the wolves just took a step back.
The Celtics have a lot of room to get better still. People forget that this team went 16-3 in the playoffs w Tatum’s shooting being Giannis-esc and KP barely being available.
@@MrJman967mavs wasn't, and the Pacers were much better opponents than they were without Haliburton Context is important, but so is the difference between reality on paper and reality on the court.
@@MrJman967 Not really. Last year is the context, it’s over and they have the trophy, kinda simple as that, you can only play who is in front of you. Maybe teams in the east/league are better and healthier this year, or maybe it’s more of the same for the Embiids and Giannis’ of the world. But the Celtics went through a whole season and post-season without really being challenged, despite Tatum not being able to hit a jump shot and KP missing 80% of the playoffs. I hope the Knicks, Sixers, or Bucks can pose a threat to Boston, but they won pretty easily without being at their ceiling either.
Neemias Queta is going to be sneaky good in spot minutes this year. Whenever he sees the court hes an energy spark. The team is going to be fine without Porzingis for the regular season. Definitely need KP back and healthy for the playoffs though.
yoh, love this shirt. reminds me of a patch my lady got " what if it all works out" love you're positivity. keep at it, love that hat too. great content, great vibes, great fit.
Most overlooked part of the Cs team this year is the added depth, brought back every core player and added Lonnie Walker + NBA ready first round pick and have young guys like springer who may be ready for minutes
Honestly with how this team is constructed and how Tatum and Brown have blossomed, they’re good enough to win another championship but it also depends on their health, their ability to keep/sign key role players, and who they matchup with in the playoffs. I say at minimum they win 1 more championship, at max they win 3 making it 4 total but it varies on the 3 variables I listed. (This is coming from a Heat fan, who is a big Jaylen Brown fan)
Never seen your videos before but this got suggested to me and everything you said was 100% true or something I hadn't even thought about before. You know ball damn well
My biggest concerns with the Celtics are (in order): KP being hurt, Horford being old, one of the starters besides KP getting majorly hurt, Brown being pissed about not getting as much respect as Tatum (like he deserves), Tatum losing his jumpshot and turning into Ben Simmons,
With how disrespectful the media, talking heads, pundits and fans of opposing teams have been. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least. Celtics are clearly the most hated team in the league.
Not even close 😂, they are a good team but this year they were just lucky, they faced weak or weakened teams. There were many champions like that (Bucks 2021 for example) however they never back to back
@@nxxdle_ depends on the match up. Tillman is good for perimeter defense and Kornet/Queta are good for the taller teams. We can play double big line up.
Do you think the extra muscle might hurt brown? Like we seen with someone like AD, the extra muscle negatively changed his shooting, but brown is a better shooter so maybe it will be a positive.
IMO I think the best part of the Cs Duo is that JT is the better ALL around player and that’s okay, because JB fills in the slot of being the more consistent scorer so adding consistent scoring to a guy who has the ability of putting up a triple double avg, if he put his mind to it, makes this team far more dangerous than any team east and west.
It’s kind of crazy how much potential all the teams have this year. So many players missed games last year and there were a lot of guys that stepped up. Now those great injured player are returning and we also have the potential of some of these rookies. The league is getting deeper. Who knows how Edey is going to be on Memphis? If he’s good and their young players worked on their game this offseason, they can easily be a top team. Pippen Jr also looks like a stud and Morant is returning. All the while GG will eventually make his return. I just don’t think this is the same team. That’s only one team. There are so many with similar situations.
the last team i felt were going to repeat as champs were the 2018 dubs, every team afterwards hasn’t been a sure fire thing that they’ll reach the finals again. that was the last team the league feared imo
As a Knicks fan, I'm hopeful for a Celtics-Knicks playoff series, but I'd be lying to say that team is not ridiculously stacked. Those small-ball lineups are going to shoot the 3-ball at a rate that I worry about in that matchup
The only difference between the Celtics and others is the perception of Tatum and Brown not how good they actually are. Both were top 10 players in the league last year, and Tatum’s career so far has certainly been up to the standard of a top-10 all time player but people refuse to accept it.
I think Al Halford was an underrated reason for their success. I’m curious to see how the team will look without him now that he is retired. I haven’t seen many people speak on this
@@Salhd10 they lost their bench pieces and I knew they would be in trouble if they just clamp up Murray. That simple to beat the nuggets, don’t let Murray go off and that’s what the wolves did!
Eh this is a bit different. This Celtics team just had the 3rd best net rating of all time. I never heard anybody say the Bucks or Raptors were going to go back to back, outside of Bucks and Raptors fans. The media may always try and push the champions but the Celtics should cruise to at least another ECF, nobody in the East can touch them on paper, even the Knicks or Sixers.
I think just based off the fact they’re still being pushed as a team, and they kept every key piece unlike some other teams, they are repeating (totally not biased)
Celtics have every tool to repeat. Its also crazy that even the 1980s Boston team never repeated and the last Celtics team to do it was in the 60s with Bill Russell
If Tatum gets his three point percentage to around high 30's/low 40's the NBA might as well plan on keeping the Larry O Brian trophy in Boston for another year.
If porzingas is healthy and assuming tatum doesnt suddenly go from being an ironman to getting injured or holiday doesnt have a crazy falloff than there is no team that can stop them
Yoooo, statistically JT is gonna easily be a longevity or quantity HOF guy, top 15 overall if he stays healthy. He’s done a lot more by age 26, than most.
They might be more likely to win the chip than any other single team, but I don’t think they’re more likely than all other teams combined, like MJ Bulls or Shaq Lakers or KD Warriors. I’m happy for the Celtics squad that they got one last year, but I like when success gets spread around. I’m not rooting for any team to get a repeat, much less a franchise that has 18 banners already.
They had the 3rd best net rating of all time last year, tied with the 16-17 Warriors and retained their entire rotation. If I was a Celtics fan I would not be concerned about anybody but the Celtics, health will be key for this team. Personally, I am taking them over the field, the team we saw last year is being looked past completely, they cooked my Mavs.

Mavs were only put together for 4/5 months so had no continuity , still played a great team tho
13:52 - the facts are: you can only ever play the guys that suit up on the opposite bench; your best in uniform vs their best in uniform, winner takes all! end of.
4:00 his jumper looks so much more mechanically smooth. Like SO much smoother
Also he is a much better passer than the start of last season.
Last year tatum developed into a great play maker by the end of the finals he was carving the Mavs up.
Nah youre comparing a 0 effort warmup shot to like a 50% effort practice shot and the type of shot is different too. Ofc theyre going to look slightly dfferent, but theres no large fundamental difference between the 2
@@futurefox635yeah he basically became the PG and playmaker we have always needed
you say that every NBA back to back champ has a top 10 player of all time, but how many of those players were top 10 at the time they won the second ring of a b2b? Maybe a lot of those players are considered top 10 of all time in hindsight BECAUSE they won back to back.
@I713 levels ahead but tatum swept kd and kyrie who yall meat ride two bus riders ,then tatum cooked mvp embiid and got giannis outta the playoffs before too ain't nobody forgetting tatum
@@malcolmhoover1654 The same Kyrie and KD that took them out the year before in 5 games. And the role players around him were weak ash. And you said Tatum cooked MVP Embiid. Embiid doesn’t guard Tatum. Curry has a good game against the Nuggets. Does that mean he cooked Jokic but not Murray? And yes people might remember Tatum. But if they do.
@@I713you said a whole lotta nothing, Cs in 4
If we are honest Tatum will never reach that level. Just common sense there’s a really, really low chance that happens
I’m a die hard Celtics fan. Thank you for that “get over it”. Very few people understand that.
Great analysis Kenny, great last point too!!
Kenny thank you for providing real takes that make sense
Tatum is not the head of the snake bro, maybe from a marketing perspective he is. That team works on the court because they maximize everyone's strengths. It isnt about superstars for boston, its about basketball. Thats why they will win again. And I am a raptors fan...
The Celtics team and organization disagree with you😂😂
He is
Oh no, it starts with tatum and brown.yea, The play good as a unit, but that team is built on the weaknesses of them both
Tatum's not the head of the snake, he's on head on the hydra!
Glad you understand that. Anyone can be the man on any night but the offense goes through Tatum most the time. It can also go through JB, White and even Pritchard or Holiday. So many options.
im confident we can 3peat but the knicks do scare me this year
It feels like it. No team has been together long enough for it to feel like their bout to pop. OKC has upgrades but truthfully they’re still young and progress isn’t linear. They could easily lose in the first round cause everyone knows about them now. And the wolves just took a step back.
cavaliers about to pop
No way okc loses in first round if healthy
Celtics not making it pass the semi conference 😂
@@adrianpreciado7501 woke joke

The Celtics have a lot of room to get better still. People forget that this team went 16-3 in the playoffs w Tatum’s shooting being Giannis-esc and KP barely being available.
Against teams that were all injury riddled. Context matters.
@@MrJman967mavs wasn't, and the Pacers were much better opponents than they were without Haliburton
Context is important, but so is the difference between reality on paper and reality on the court.
@@MrJman967Celtics were injured too duh 😂
Neemias Queta is going to be sneaky good in spot minutes this year. Whenever he sees the court hes an energy spark. The team is going to be fine without Porzingis for the regular season. Definitely need KP back and healthy for the playoffs though.
Ah you're the real comment
Nah fr
@@PurpleandGold615 Queta causes havoc in the paint. He’s so big and strong pause! Nobody can move him out his spot! He’s shooting 3s now too!

Enjoyed every second video! You nailed it!
9:57 it’s pronounced “Kay-tah” just so you know! He’s working on a jump shot and honestly could be a breakout player for us
As a Celtics fan yes
You know ball damn well
My biggest concerns with the Celtics are (in order): KP being hurt, Horford being old, one of the starters besides KP getting majorly hurt, Brown being pissed about not getting as much respect as Tatum (like he deserves), Tatum losing his jumpshot and turning into Ben Simmons,
jeez, dram queen. take it somewhere else - #18 in the bag, #19 loading.
I love how he said it’s so hard to go back to back when the graphic showed damn near every one going back to back or even getting the threepeat 😂

Queta’s development in the g-league has been excellent, but I think Kornet and Tillman get a shot at backup 5 minutes before him.
They also have Lonnie walker as well like even there guard depth is even better with holiday, white, Pritchard and Lonnie like dam that’s strong there
Actually with Porzingis he said hes been doing contact workouts and would expect to be back closer to mid-late november which is huge for the celtics
feel like queta could have a breakout if he actually gets minutes
IMO I think the best part of the Cs Duo is that JT is the better ALL around player and that’s okay, because JB fills in the slot of being the more consistent scorer so adding consistent scoring to a guy who has the ability of putting up a triple double avg, if he put his mind to it, makes this team far more dangerous than any team east and west.
JT shot is so much smoother now💯💪🏾☘️ nobody beating the Celtics in a 7 game series
14:10 lolllll “fuck it!”😂
russell westbrook shirt is fire brodie!!
As a Celtics fan I’m stoked for a potential knicks matchup they built the team to beat us
The only difference between the Celtics and others is the perception of Tatum and Brown not how good they actually are. Both were top 10 players in the league last year, and Tatum’s career so far has certainly been up to the standard of a top-10 all time player but people refuse to accept it.
I think Al Halford was an underrated reason for their success. I’m curious to see how the team will look without him now that he is retired. I haven’t seen many people speak on this
I personally love what I have seen from queta... hope he gets more opportunity
The F-bomb truly caught me off-guard.
Celtics absolutely repeat easily with a healthy KP.
We said the same thing about the Nuggets last year
Jamal was hurt🤷♂️

Eh this is a bit different. This Celtics team just had the 3rd best net rating of all time. I never heard anybody say the Bucks or Raptors were going to go back to back, outside of Bucks and Raptors fans. The media may always try and push the champions but the Celtics should cruise to at least another ECF, nobody in the East can touch them on paper, even the Knicks or Sixers.

KP is way ahead of schedule with his injury too. He’s already playing with light contact.
Are they back to back champions because they are a top 10 player or are they a top 10 player because they won back to back championships?
I think just based off the fact they’re still being pushed as a team, and they kept every key piece unlike some other teams, they are repeating (totally not biased)
And we’re back to back!
As a Celtics fan I can tell Kenny knows his stuff because he mentioned Oshae Brisett not returning 😂
Tatums rebounding goes unnoticed. He was grabbing almost 10 boards a game in 2023-2024.
Another kenny upload?🙌🏾
Even if a team is able to stop the J's, the J's are as good of a defensive duo as you can get. That's really is what sets them over the top.

Will Jayson Tatum ever get the respect he deserves?
Derrick White & Jrue Holiday INSANE BACK-COURT DEFENSE 💪🔥💪
JT is on pace to be the greatest playoff scorer ever. He's finishing top 10
I think we will repeat. People underestimate how winning a championship makes a team better.
