Shure is known as one of the leaders in the audio world after wowing me with their ultra-portable MV88, they reached out about their new MV7 Podcast Kit with Manfrotto tripod, USB cable and mic.
From their fantastic accompanying app to the customization options to the build quality (and of course rich audio sound), the MV7 is an affordable upgrade for anyone who (like myself) has a podcast or creates content and wants clear audio.
I compare a few different audio channels such as the camera audio, lav and the MV7 itself. Your call. What's the right answer for your pro audio needs and wants?

I loved the fact the you covered the main question in the first 10 seconds of the video. Straight to the point.❤
I have the Logitech Blue Sona for my podcast with my uncle, but he just bought this. Found your review trying to learn more about this mic. Love the channel! Quality is great all around. Nice work!
Love it boss
Oh thanks for the clicks!! It's such a great mic! Did you get one?
Hello Bradley, is it possible to connect this mic to an iPhone directly and also install and control the Shure app on the phone please? A tutorial would help and would be really appreciated.
Oh good question. I’d check with Shure on that. I’m not totally “sure” about it. I have the MV88 for my iPhone and it’s great. Not quite as full sounding but gets the job done well.
@@bhaz ok thanks Bradley. Just wondered if you had a chance to check that’s all. I’ll check with them.
Yes thru usb
Do you have the usb connected to your slr camera or is it straight to the laptop?
Hey Russ. I have it going into Garage Band then I brought the audio over. Depending on your SLR, if there is power running to the mic port you might be able to plug right in. Maybe through an adapter. Also you could record onto an external device like a Tascam or something. Does that help?
@@bhaz Thanks for the reply! I'm still new to this as you can tell haha. How easy is it to sync the audio with the video after being uploaded? My concern is all the possible cuts that would have to be made. I'm using a canon m50.
I have a question is there a good program someone can use to screen record on they're computer?
Yes, there is.
@@Tmaxar ok?
@@noslipups3657 Try OBS.....it's an open source program for Windows and Mac and you can record screen, livestream and do much more.
Can this stand adjust the height up and down ?
You know what, it can't. Only around. I have placed it on a few books before when I needed to make it taller...and also lowered my desk chair too!
@@bhaz Thank you my man Appreciate the answer
Underrated channel! NEW SUB? SHURE 👊🏼 😂
That’s the nicest thing I’ve heard all day! Thanks so much. Hope the review helped.
