Thanks homie! ya I wounder if you could do that on a mighty max, guess it would depend on how the ball joint is mounted 🤔 these being bolt on makes it a cake walk
you da man. I bagged my 97 d21 2 years ago wit the help from ur vids and I bought ur bag mount kits . thx man. . anyone lookin to bag their ride check out this dudes website quality stuff 👌
Great video by chance do you know where I can buy the A arm spindles I need a new set and can't find them anywhere my old ones are damaged. Thanks in advance ✌🏿
I've gotten upper control arms from lots of places including amazon, rockauto, or local autoparts stores. As far as spindles I've never bought new stock spindles only belltech drop spindles which are my favorite spindles.
@scrapingpavement I've tried rock auto all kinds of different places they say the part is discontinued so now I have to look for an old set and remove them and refurbish them.... Thanks for your time bro and again I love your work truly digging your channel👊🏿✌🏿
Flipping the uppers helps with ball joint angle and airbag clearence. Is it necessary to cut and box the arm to do this? No. But does make the arm look much nicer and meant to be than a control arm flipped upside down. All based on personal preference.
So, I just ordered the Energy Suspension bushing kit and new upper control arms. The Energy Suspension bushings don't fit in the arm. Do you have any idea what's going on?
I've never delt with energy suspension, I've done factory replacement bushings so not sure if there's an issue with there's. Although I will say factory ones were not easy, took a good bit of grease and a 20 ton press to get them seated.
Thanks wrecker, doing these as a straight to the point series. Will eventually get back to my usual content once I'm back on a personal project. Hopfully sooner than later 🤞🏼
This was awesome! Saw you posting on IN and checked out the channel. Fantastic fab work! I'm also a (less talented) fab guy in WA up north in Bellingham. Hope I get to check out your build in person some day! Cheers man
I haven't put a gauge on the hub to see the exact change. Nothing noticeable to the eye that I've seen. I may have to check that out and see if it changes at all and if so how much.
Thanx for the amazing and informative video
Thanks for watching 🤘🏼
Always the cleanest and always the best! Looking forward to the next upload and updates on your projects! Thank you!
Thanks my dude! Going to try to get back on some projects hopfully soon 🤞🏼🤞🏼
That looks much easier than I thought! Another amazing video!
Thanks happy it was a help!
That was beautiful! I’ve always pie-cut the uppers on the Mighty Max. I wonder if some sort of flip is possible. 🤔 Thank you, Brother!
Just started watching both of your channels, cool to see guys in each others' comments and learning new things

Hell ya! Was maybe body dropped?
Hello cuál es el objetivo de cortar la tijera y dejarla más delgada solo es estética y va a lograr vajar más la troka

Great work man. I noticed you haven't done bloopers in the last couple of videos.

Aye, appreciate the kind words my dude! That would be sweet, hoping to get a vehicle out to all the NW shows this next show season.🤞🏼🤞🏼
Will this give any more travel on the d21 4x4?
No, I don't think this mod would help on a 4x4/.
I love it! Another excellent video!✌🏻
Nice work.. You are very skilled
Would this help if I lift my truck
As far as balljoint angle it would make it worse for a 4x4 as the arm will be angled more down than up like a lowered truck.
Awesome job!
Hi Jake
Hi Darin 👋
Is there a coilover conversion in the works?
If all goes well yes, i got a set of coil overs waiting to be installed once I get some time. Will be some sort of weld kit.
@@scrapingpavement that would be awesome! I’m really wanting to do coilovers.
is there a company that already sells these pre maid?
No
Nothing I'm aware of
Awesome video.
Building new arms would take way less time.
Cool
Can this work on a 720 datsun
Most likely no
Nice work!
Where can I find the cut template? I really appreciate the help you’ve done for me and everyone
If you get the kit from my site it will come with one. I may add a downloadable file to my site here soon.
Really cool piece!!
Good job man
Definitely doing this. Old school proven. Keep it up bud
Hey mate, do you sell the cut template ?
Send me an email and I can send you a file, you may need to play with the scale though to get it right.
Just a curious question, Does flipping and swapping control arms give more positive or negitive camber?

Damn those look nice 👌
Hell yeah

If you don’t know now you know🦾💯
