We need an in depth battle between the aw3225qf and this … With all sorts of situations. Gameplay in darkness (in game time), shooters, high vibrancy colors, cinematic clips, os. And the real performance in Day and night (coating)
Nice! Just wondering did LG fix the over brightening of peak brightness high? Vincent of HDTVTest did a video showing it's over tracking the EOTF and using Low under tracks and doesn't get anywhere near as bright. If they fix this or add a Medium setting that reaches it's max 1300 nits and tracks properly...for a 32" wow! What other 32" OLED options are there for that kind of brightness using a glossy screen?
Nothing so far. They may update one LG gets more info. As with the GR etc. Even the new UM mini led got a big update. So hopefully soon.

Hey brother what is the best mini led coming out soon do you know. I’ve had the Neo Geo 7 for a while. Time to upgrade but don’t want a Oled monitor.
We still have to wait. The Neo G7 is still very good. This yr many monitor are coming out with 1156-1196 zones. Not sure if they will be better. Ill keep everyone updated.
Do you notice any auto adjusting on the brightness with this monitor? I’ve received mine yesterday, it’s awesome! And what do you think about gamer2 compared to the gamer1? The colors and black levels are more spot on to my opinion.
Try fps mode in hdr with a black equalizer of 40 or 50. Looks to have better highlights with peak high. I tested with tron hdr video . I honestly dont see the auto brightness. Try peak low if it bothers you too much. Gamer 1 or 2? I do see gamer 2 maybe be a small bit brighter vs gamer 1? Not sure. Congrats man on the LG!!🎉
@@ViktorsReality Maybe it was some driver issue from my GPU. What I do notice and can't seem to fix is that the monitor goes randomly from 240hz to 144hz.. No idea why that is happening. The 240hz is also gone if it does in the Nvdia control center.

I now ordered the AW3225QF as it is the cheapest by far here in Europe. It is like 350€ cheaper then a FO32U2P. The 32GS95UE is not yet available everywhere I look in Europe.

The Dell AW3225QF has low input lag for a responsive feel. Although the 240Hz and 60Hz results are with Console Mode off, the 120Hz result is with Console Mode set to 'Legacy Mode' as it's the only way to get 120Hz from a PC over HDMI. That said, the input lag remains the same whether you enable Console Mode or not or even if you use a DisplayPort connection
@@MakeSh00t You’re good with hdmi it uses DSC to achieve 240hz via HDMi I’m using it as we speak and PC Mag measured less than 1ms so it’s perfect really!
I live in the Netherlands and for me the Lg is cheaper then the Aw3225
For someone who prefers glossy monitors, would the matte coating here be acceptable? would I notice the grain on the desktop? I know for gaming it's probably a non issue?
the 480hz mode makes this a serious consideration.
every review I watched so far with 1 single exception all said the finish is really good, much better than LGs old 1440p 240hz monitor. the only one who was heavily criticizing it is someone with a very biased opinion against matte finishes in general, so I don't take that very serious.
@@patrikmedia I know who you're talking about hahaha, I value his opinion as well though. But yeah it seems the best choice imo, especially if you don't want to deal with two monitors on the desk.
@@L4J4 I mean each their own, but I actually got a glossy AW QD-OLED sitting in front of me and a 4K IPS next to it. for me the matte vs glossy is a non-issue. I really don't mind which is which, but the purple tint on QD-OLEDs with a fraction of light shining on it is really annoying. I'm really baffled how people debate so much over this when it's such a minor difference. if you literally have content on the screen, and not off or black, then you can hardly tell if its glossy or not unless you really got a harsh light shining on it. where on the other hand you could easily tell the QD apart with the purple hue.
I'll sell my QD as soon as I get the LG WOLED. was planning on keeping them both and replace my IPS but at this point I actually prefer it as a secondary monitor over the QD since I need to have some lights on in my room and I can't avoid dealing with the raised blacks. but I see this might not be an issue, especially if you mainly use it with super dim lights or completely off.
I actually have been seeing many not liking the purple haze on QD OLED's. As more and more ppl start getting into oled they start seeing the minor but important issues. The Matte vs Glossy is overblown. Asnlong as the coating does not have a hard pearl sheen (Dell calls it that) Matte will always be a viable option. The 32GQ950 is lot like the new LG 32" dual mode. Ill have a minor coating vs video next week. If you see my new ewin chair review the opening scene I have a preview of what I mean. Lol

Hey... thing is on the 34, 39 and 45inch GS95QE's this yr. They are brighter and have a nicer coating. I personally think 45" is to big due to the 800R curve which is really strong. But 34" version? I love my 34" G8 OLED ans think its perfect but If i upgraded or wanted a bigger size the 39" is the one. But if this is your first 34" I say try it! 800R tho you really need to see for yourself. For example the Neo G7/8 is 1000r curve (the lower the number the curvier it gets) nut even the 34" 800R is nice as your eyes wont travel too much vs say the 45". Some say they got dizzy at 45" 800r. But vs this 32" LG OLED? This LG is easier on the eyes as its flat, 16:9... so perfect for consoles, and includes 480hz mode at 1080p which is fun.. if you need that. Also the speakers are best so far on a monitor. $1399 tho is alot I prefer this to he closer to $999 which by sept it will be. I do got a bunch if vs videos say vs a 34" oled g8 soon etc. If it helps... If you cant wait or need it soon at least wait for any mind of sale. LG currently has them as BB sold out. Seems these are finally getting more produced. Many who actually bought them love it. I have nit seen anyone return or complain of the coating. The Neo is best in SDR for impact. Its more fun. HDR is nice here on the LG with no blooming but I never ever had an issue onnthe Neo G7 on that. If you have seen it before then it may bother you but I prefer brightness & color impact in sdr so the Neo is really nice.

hey vik i heard if you go to the dual mode 1080p 480GHz setting, that you can use nvidia panel with DSR to scale it to 4k or 2k if you want with almost 480 fps. can you try that out ofc if you want to. but i heard that you can go above 240 hz with it is like 400+hz or the dude just lied. i saw hes comment i dont know where but he said the best monitor so far with best fps ever

When you going to post 480fps gameplay? I really want to know how smooth is 480hz before planning buying next month.
you are not going to know how smooth 480hz is through a 60fps youtube video, through your screen. that is just simply impossible unless the video was in slow-motion, frame matched to 60fps.
Im sure we could prob still see something but in slow mo. Ill see if i can. I can get 120hz to work over youtube (HFM) but so fsr only on iphones is plays.

So far I have been reading that all LG's have some sort of flicker. Now I havnt noticed but what settings do you have so I can test.

Crazy I have seen ppl add it to 80+. Vibrancy helps a ton but 60-65 Is enough.

@@User-ys7cb for this LG woled its needed to compete or at least look closer to a QD OLED. Woled colors will never look as pure as QD OLED
@@User-ys7cb yes sir. i bought and tested countless monitors. oleds tricks you into thinking its real scene bright only because pixels change luminance simultaneously. appearing hella bright. adjusting the gamma and screen birghtness helps counter the crushing of colors. especially the darker colors like black, red, purple etc.
