That's what I-Car teaches us. But when you sction the new rail in, that's way more heat than the torch. So, I'm not a believer in everything I-Car teaches us.
It helps save the rocker panels if you put something under the tires. we used four layers of 3/4 inch plywood glued and screwed together and cut into 2 foot squares. Did frame pulling for 25 years. Nice job.
We had a frame machine when I took Auto body but we never got to use it. It's fun watching how you attack the problem and the steps that you take. Happy New Year!
Artist at work hope people realize how much work and how hard of work repair ing a crashed vehicle is happy new year to everyone at the shop, great videos.👍
We are one of the best frame shops in town. All other shops bring their cars to us for frame repair. We put alot of pride in our skills. We even repair semi frames. Its a dying art
I really like your technical content , and I wonder if there are a lot of people that would like Yuri story segments where you talk bout your pops and your own stories of probably workin from a young age ?
I knew nothing about frame straightening until I watched your video. Very interesting and very helpful that you explain what needs to be done on a vehicle. Excellent camerawork and narration. I’m now a subscriber.
You seem like an amazing guy, found you from Vtunes channel. Always amazed what body work / metal guys like you can pull off ,you're like magicians. Always the coolest guys at the BMW dealership I worked with in sweden, you doing amazing work.
Bruh, that explosion 💥 was exactly what I was expecting if you continued heating it up right next to the gas tank with the blow torch! As always Good job 👏🏼 Guys!
Merry crismast and happy new year to you your brother vtune and family from your malaysia subscriber, nice repair work for both you and your brother.👍👍👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐keep it up the good work and videos.
I worked at a body shop that was associated with a Nissan Infiniti dealership had to replace so many of those rails because the mechanics were doing subframe recalls and broke the studs off the rails. Got pretty good at replacing them fast.
you need a good measuring system that goes under body an over head any thing else is a guess. Also pul a heavy canvas trap over the chians to protect yourself when the come off
Good stuff bro. Just want to give you a little safety advice. After heating up the metal in order to pull, rapidly cool it by spraying it with water, after that reheat it again and let it cool down on its own. This gives it hardness and strength again. If the car is gonna get hit in the same place without doing this the damages could be fatal. Just little thing to sleep with clear mind.
Happy New Year man! Your channel is awesome. It’s crazy how well you pull frames and put cars back together with precision. It’s work, but I can tell that you aren’t afraid of extra work to make things right.
Another great video, I was wondering how you were going to get all that shape back in so many different places. You did great young man, your pop's even looked impressed, he's done great with all you boy's. I loved the whole video except that music in the middle when you brought in the white car, a little weird for me. Here's to you guy's doing great thing's this upcoming 2022 year, looking forward to watching your new video's.
Glad I stumbled upon your channel. Just had a frame rail pulled on my 90s project car and I had to go to the yard to get a core support replacement. Nice to see how the frame machine does its job along with the skilled operator.
Subbed to V for a while. What’s the difference between 23rd and Motorheads? Really dig this content as it walks through the process more even though I sure as hell ain’t pulling my own frame apart any time soon.
Happy New Year, guys. Can you talk about the difference between straightening the front part of the frame from the back of the car? Do you just measure the gaps for the gaps to be right in the rear of the car? Do you ever use that measuring tool in the trunk area?
You have to replace that frame rail, getting crushed in the accident, and then heating and pulling removed all its strength. If it were ever in another accident it would collapse and protect nothing, unsafe.
Mash,Side Sway,Twist are the 3 operations to achieve a square unibody alignment. Did this work 40 years. Car insurance companies require a printed out specification sheet to go with servicing claim from the electronic measuring system which shows proof of squareness of body.
Good job. Its nice to see the younger Men step up and learn this trade. After 45 years of rebuilding wrecks , it has been very rewarding for me. We look like a bunch of cave men working in car frames back in the 70s. We had no frame machine, we had chains in the floor we tied off of. We got the job done with a straight leg dozier. I hope they keep building new cars we can repair.
Y'all have a good year too 23rd garage I hope the best for you. love your channel your cameraman's doing great. I wish I could remember his name you should probably mention it a little bit more at the end of the video. He's doing a good job and he'll just get better with time I know he's Young. but you got to start off somewhere. I love to see how you keep the family in business I did the same thing with my father down here in Central Florida tell me how to do both upholstery been many tops boat enclosures Bentley top enclosures I can go on all day just like bubba Gump shrimp you'll have a happy New Year love from down here in Central Florida
I did that mess for 45+ years, the last 10 years worked with a Chief frame machine, when I started out back in the mid 60s all we had was an old damage dozer. Any serious frame damage we sent out, and gave away half of our labor money.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. A few questions and you can comment please in a future video. Example you have a vehicle what's front end damage on both frame rails where you cannot measure it on the vehicle cus both side are damaged.... where can the diyer get frame data measurements.. to set up or realign parts back to factory specs.
Happy New Years 23rd fam, Hope you have the best year ever!!
Thank you! Same to you and the team!!!
💪back at ya.
Same 2 u 🙏🙏
Thanks Yuri....And thanks for all the great content too.
I really like the fact that you not only show what you want to do, but you even explain the pros and cons, plus the reason why.
"Ones you stop doing it you dont want anything to do with it". So True about bodywork and paintin.
Man, no wonder. Seen a lot of people just stop indefinetly when they do. Me, I'm built different I guess.
I'm a retired auto body repairman and still do it for extra money on the side. still love it. Great video
The rail is toast! Replace only, heat is a no no !
That's what I-Car teaches us. But when you sction the new rail in, that's way more heat than the torch. So, I'm not a believer in everything I-Car teaches us.

You seem like an amazing guy, found you from Vtunes channel. Always amazed what body work / metal guys like you can pull off ,you're like magicians. Always the coolest guys at the BMW dealership I worked with in sweden, you doing amazing work.
I do this type of work everyday with a Car O Liner Mark V.

I honestly don't understand why this channel doesn't have a couple of hundred thousand subscribers by now. It WILL happen!
Because this is lawsuits . People haven’t been allowed to fix cars like this in 20 years

That’s not a gas tank
That was the tire well but yeah I was thinking about gas tank too. Excellent craftsmanship. 🙌

Beautiful work. I appreciate what you did, and hope that I could do some cool mechanical work one day! I love trades
