do you have a specified piece of material that you use for the paddles at all? if so could you please let me know as i have been watching your videos on how to make a scuf controller. Once again thanks for the wonderful TUT.
Make it on Ps4 controller, do you have another suggestion for paddles? I live in Brazil and here we dont have this realy hard soap plastic, acrilic is good but do you have another? Thanks Great video!
I bought a Scuf one with 4 paddles, but the paddles are too thin for my taste, I would like to have them more fat, so that the way to press them is shorter for my fingers, any ideas? Übersetzen
Not at all. The point you solder to is actually outside the diameter of the physical button so there is no interference as long as you keep your soldering clean. :)
I don't need any help with tools or any thing I just have the fear of messing up my controller up my controller and also is it worth it to make 4 paddles or is it just to much work and or how diffacult would it be
I dislike I having 4 paddles because I mess up and press the wrong ones. If I were going to put the "X" and "Y" buttons on the controller I would put them on the grip of the controller and not the back. That way you could distinctly tell which button you were pressing.
I'm having problems getting the housing to fit perfectly. It doesn't seem to sit on the bottom of the controller in all the way... It forces me to squeeze the bottom of the controller to attach the headset adapter
I've had one other complaint about that but mine didn't have this problem. I'll look into it and see if I can come up with a work around. Just make sure your wire is properly routed and not blocking the case at all.
I'm on my phone currently so I can't link you. But go to the beginning of the video and click on the Annotation for the Trigger stops. It will take you right to that portion of the video.
i will probabley just use the buttons without the peddals. great guide

If you can find a flex rubber ruler, they make great paddles. But I wont be able to do a Ps3/Ps4 version.

One question does the buttons feel smooshy after you've added the wires to them?
Not at all. The point you solder to is actually outside the diameter of the physical button so there is no interference as long as you keep your soldering clean. :)
