the big question is. how did killua knows the technique. i'm pretty sure that he doesn't know nen until heavens arena and for sure his grandpa doesn't show it to him back then. and since nen is invisible if you don't use gyo.
Was wondering about it too haha (a big plot hole overall is how Killua grew up in that family without even noticing Nen. Almost everyone there, including the butlers, are using nen.)

He's witnessed it before just not seen the arrows it's safe to assume he'd put 2 and 2 together and realise the arrows are what cause the damage from dragon dive.
Well we saw before in the series that even when Killua didn’t know about nen, he was still “‘nen sensitive”. He could still sense his brothers nen and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s seen Dragon Dive without knowing it’s using nen
Given the circumstances, it's impressive that any of them arrived at that conclusion so quickly. They all have really high battle IQ. It's just even more impressive that Gon remained unshaken by the dragon dive (an ability he's never seen before) and still got to it faster than Killua.
I dont think he would use his trump card against him. IF they both would exchange some punches it would be for some mommemts and then the others would take on youpi. I think he really wanted to fuck pitou up
I finally understood how the heck killua knew the tecnique and his name. In his childhood, he killed severe amounts of people, probably alongside his family. In one of these cases, Zeno must have used Dragon Dive and explained to killua how it works, without giving clues about nen (I cant imagine why he'd do this but anyway), causing mass destruction. This is why killua recognized the pattern of the attacks, the holes, the instinctive feeling by seeing them again, everything must have pointed to Dragon Dive... Obviously there's a huge lack of explanation in the manga and this is just a theory, so until the manga explains everything, we can indeed call it a script hole
Basically, the invisibility stays as long as he doesn't breath, if he dies, he'll stay invisible and die invisible. With the dragon dive, there was no way to know if he was dead or alive, and if he was indeed dead, then they'd all be condemned if someone didn't go to take care of Youpi in their stead.
Yep. These guys got it. In short. Gon had the HIGHEST Foresight to take that quick action, if Knuckles and Meleroen was down without knowing during by Dragon Dive. SOMEONE ELSE needed to take action against Youpi.
I think it's just Gon's natural instinct to focus on enemy in front of him, when he saw Knuckle hits youpi his eyes change, meaning he's aware of his own task
It's not about talent bro.... It's about focus and commitment. Gon is ONLY thinking about Kite and he doesn't care about ANYTHING else. That's why he didn't hesitate or got surprised by dragon dive or youpi. He simply didn't care.
You would of thought Netero would have told them dragon drive was possible, so the wouldn't be surprised. It's also funny to me how thr Hunters were taking down a dangerous organization ordered by the government; but yet only brought 7 people. They already knew how bad they were from Colt and Knov....
The plan was always the assassination of the king, which a small group of specialists is more suited for the job than an army. After the king's death, I assume a backup extermination crew will be sent to clean up.
my speculation is that Netero wanted to permanently retire being the chairman of the hunter association and what better way for a warrior like him is to fight an enemy who is essentially a demi-god. he even bought a nuke inside his body so he could still finish the mission even if he died. if he hadnt been selfish he could have bought the Zodiacs and others in fighting the king.
You clearly didn’t pay attention lol. Netero literally says they only use a select group of fighters because if they bring weak Hunters, the ants can use them to strengthen themselves via phagogenesis or experiments (what they did to Palm)
My guess is that in some way the technique has been discussed in the family and what it does. Like maybe his father told a story about his grandpa using this technique to defeat a very powerful opponent.
This is where we draw the line in the gon vs killua debate. Killua from birth was trained to be the greatest fighter / assassin, while Gon was just a child playing and having fun. This led to killua always having an upper hand in terms of fighting skills, even though gon and killua are the same in terms of talent. In the end we see killua develop his nen and skills with much more quality, with abilities such as god speed being way superior to abilities like the gon jajanke. However, although gon was created like a normal child, he has a keen sense for feral and animalistic sense and behaviour, this leads to the fact that when gon is pushed to the edge he become a really great threat to everyone that opposes him. We see that with Razor when he realizes that if killua had dodged to the wrong side he would have died, and we see this same fact here and now when gon is capable of thinking and reacting faster than everyone. This leads me to believe that although a gon vs killua scenario would be a 3/7 in killua favor, if gon is in this state of being driven to the edge, the odds would quickly turn to gon favor, due to him being way more could and fater to react, even willing to sacrifice anything or everything to archieve his goals.
In basics there is a invisible dude with another dude who could have died and they wouldn't know and they were supposed to fight the big guy. Gon figured out they could have died right away and knew someone else would have to fight cause they wouldn't know if they were still invisible.
Gon had other two mates hiding and trying to go for an ambush against youpi....they were invincible as long as the guy doesn't breathe so if they die ( don't actually breathe anymore ) no ones gonna find their bodies to confirm whether there alive or not and notice that, that's why he was squaring up against youpi
