  • I saw this one recently and have always been a fan of the double decker buses so I wanted to give it a go. Seems like a pretty straightforward build should only be a couple of days.

Have loved the old red doubledecker buses since I was a youngster in England. Definitely doing this build!

It's a good one! Reasonable priced and, so far, pretty straightforward build.

It really is! I don't know why I thought it was going to be a much more challenging build.

I like the vehicle kits.....with the exception of the accordion bits, which they usually have.

Agreed, but if you're gonna build buses and trains and steam engines you gotta deal with them. 😂

No problem, I'm trying to do a better job including it in the description.

Thanks for your videos. I find the use of very small double-sided self-adhesives very time consuming. Can they be replaced by a glue dot? What do you think? As always with these kits, the cut-out side is an aesthetic problem, so painting them or ignoring them is one solution.

This is the first time I've had any trouble with the tape, I think the strips were too skinny for it to work effectively, that's why I swapped to the glue, as for painting the sides, I think it's just a personal choice, I opted against it this time, but I think it would look good.

never use that thin sticky tape. Its a waste of space. I have done a few vehicles and needed the taspe but i used glue instead

I've had pretty good luck with it until this one, I think they made the strips too skinny this time, it's a bad glue to paper ratio. 😂
