Добавлен 16 окт 2011
Hi, thanks for stopping by, I build things here: mainly little models, marble runs, and anything else that might fit in that category, or that just catches my eye, I post daily and I generally aim to keep my videos in the 45-60 minute range and hopefully they are informative as well as entertaining. Anyways, thanks for reading, feel free to leave a comment or question in any of the comments sections and I'll try and get back with you.
You’ll also occasionally see shorts featuring my pets, I think I’ll try to post these on Saturday, they aren’t trained or really do any tricks…but we still manage to have some fun, and look cute to boot.

Detective Famous Agency Book Nook Build-Day 3
Here's a book nook that I've had since August, I just never got around to it, and I think it will be a fun one...once we get beyond making all these books!
If you like it here's the link, but always do a good price comparison on these, I've seen a huge number of prices on this one.

Temu Pegged Marble Run-Complete Build

I saw this one on Temu and it was an instant/impluse buy, it reminded me of the Plinko Board from the Price is Right...my grandmother used to love Bob Barker and I can remember watching it with her before I was even old enough to go to school. So, here it is, it was a pretty fun straightforward build and I'm glad I picked it up! Here's the link if you're interested: share.temu.com/vkjjBM620VA

I picked this one up at the same time I did the Flame Common Room, they are by the same company, so I am hoping it will be of similar quality. Here's the link if you're interested, but as always compare prices because there is a huge variety of prices on these kits: a.co/d/fBLBfzf

I had someone request this one in the last couple of months and it seemed like a pretty good time to drop it in, I probably could have made this one a one day build, but I procrastinated too long today to fit it in before bed, so we'll just have to finish up tomorrow! 😂 Here's the link if you're interested, as always make sure and do your own price comparison, because the prices on these kits a...

Car Players Book Nook Build-Pages 18-23
I am assembling 3D Wooden Puzzles for Adults-Titanic Toys Model with LED Lighting. It's gorgeous but big. 55 cm long 300 pieces. The problem is not all but MANY of the pieces require modification. It's kind of frustrating but at the same time it's a problem solving thinking mind at work which gives satisfying results.
That is a double edged sword, it can be very satisfying to make things work, in spite of themselves. 😂
Hi there does it come with the usb port?
It does have a micro-usb port, but I don't really know what it's for.
Looking good ,nicely built
Thanks 👍 I'm thinking it should get wrapped up tonight, I think it'll come together like they always do in the end and look great.
Great work so far
Thank you! Cheers!
Were you a musician? Don't tell me you played those.
I took some piano lessons, but it would be quite wrong to call me a musician. 😂
Really nice little pieces! I can’t wait to see it completed
I haven't started tonight's yet, but I think the pace should pick up based on what I saw in the instructions.
Can you come to Saudi Arabia and build it for me and then return home?? It's very difficult!!!!
You can do it! Just take your time and go one piece at a time, you'll be amazed how well it turns out!
Have you done a video on how you made your right-angle jig? Did the little books for Magic Library before watching this. Sooooooo much easier and much more control. Wish they could redone, but hiding the really bad ones is going to be the cure. Follow you for each session as it is being built.
I don't think I did, but I do need to make a better one, maybe I can squeeze that into a short...
You give good scroll! I never thought to curl with a screwdriver or similar tool before hand! Also, have you done the Beyond Library Max yet?
Thank you! I figured that one out not too long ago, I wasted so much time trying to glue those things. 😂 Haven't done that one yet, but you're the third person to suggest it, so I'll move it to the top of the list! (after Christmas)
@ it is supposedly the most detailed and time consuming build. I can’t wait to do it! 🤣
I must say you have done a great job. I’m just at putting the lights together. Is my first one that my daughter brought for me to do for her xmas😊
Thank you, they get easier (sometimes) the more you do, it's like anything practice makes perfect!
Nice ,new build, I completed this a few months ago,it's pretty straightforward
Well, now that I’ve got those books out of the way, I’m hoping it will get more fun. 😂
Have you done any meccano
No, it's not really a thing over here, I had a set when I was a kid, but haven't really looked into it recently.
Now i know of one kit not to put in my shopping cart even if it looks beautiful.
It really wasn't that bad, it was all on me not paying attention to the directions, I think it was worth it.
My uncle had a ride in the parachute drop in Coney Island, then they permanently closed it. Back then it was not smooth riding. Said it was rough.
I bet, those old rides were notorious for being hard on you. 😂
This was so fun! Excited for your Christmas builds! I’ve done a few myself already!
It was a fun one, would have been more fun if I’d paid attention to the instructions a bit better, but I’m really happy with the results! I didn’t want to jump the gun on the Christmas stuff, but now I’m worried I may not have enough time. 🤦♂️ 😂
Got this one done last night ! Would have been nice if they would have given a bit more red and black wire. 😊 lots of fiddly things to build but overall I enjoyed this project. They didn’t send me the paper to cover the side where the window is ….so I cut out some paper and drew bricks on it and coloured it turned out really nice. Now to choose the next one . Happy building I really enjoy your videos.
That one was rough for me! I wasn't quite up to the skill level for it, I think I could do a much better job on it now, but I don't think I'll be going back to it. 😂
Thank you!!! Awesome build :)
Thank you!
We don’t get to see side shot!
I forgot to add it. 🤦♂️ I just posted a short though.
Good job! I really like this one!
Thank you, I’m glad to have those strings behind me. 😂
Really big thank you for this series of videos, I'm JUST going through this assembly myself and these have been VERY helpful. Sometime the printed instructions don't quite cut it! :D Cheers pal!
I’m glad it helped, thanks for watching!
Well built Daniel, it came together well and works good .looking forward to the Christmas schedule, 🎄
Thank you, I think I’ve got some good stuff coming up!
Can you show the entire project after it is finished? Side shot? Nice work 😁
Oops, I did film it, just forgot to add it on the end. I’ll post a short in a bit!
What a great build! So cool to see a little bit of your setup too!
I’ve got some ideas to improve it, just not the motivation or time to do it…someday. 😂
Oh, man, I must remember not to get this one!
😂 It’s not that bad if you actually pay attention to the directions.
I think it would be easier to tie the same type of knot you would use on a fishing swivel where you wrap the short end around the long end the back though the loop at the bottom
I'm not a fisherman, I've seen that knot, but I'm not super familiar with it, for me the real problem I have is controlling the end of the line, can't see it and it seems to have a mind of it's own.
You did well Daniel, when I saw, those wires to attach the rides, that was me done ,😅,I really struggle with things like that ,great display of patients. Works well .
Well, it would have been better if I'd actually followed the directions...probably would have finished up last night. 😂
This is so cool! Great video! Thank you 😊
Well, it's a great video for what not to do. 😂
Absolutely brilliant luv it 🎉
Thank you, I had to complete the set! 😂
Can adjust e20, and e21. I've done it to run perfectly
Good to know, I’ll look into that, I like this one for its simplicity.
Looking good. Can you give details of the mini electric screwdriver that you use please. It looks really useful. Thanks
Yes, sure, honestly I got that particular one because it had a case that would stand up vertically and had a lesser footprint on my workbench, it is good for the long tiny screws, but it doesn’t pack much torque, I’m pretty sure it’s more for computer and electronic builds than the models I do, if I had it to do again, I’d probably go with a cheaper one to test it out. That’s my review of it, here’s the link: a.co/d/drMuWsp
I am soo scared to do one of these motorized ones. 😂
It’s not that different from the other ones, just have the little electric motor instead of all the gears and cogs. If you’re interested in the models you should give them a try!
I’ve just finished this one I also did the tea cup and swing as well
Nice, I’m wondering if they’re going to bring out anymore amusement park rides.
This is a nice ,I have this one in my stach ,so I will let you go first 😅, looking good so far going together nicely
I’m worried about those strings…they’re never fun. 😂
Omg yayy thank you for doing this puzzle as well
Of course! I couldn’t do the other two and not complete the set! 😂
A lot of tight pieces. I would have been more impatient and started sanding the offending bits.....then have to resort to glue.
A lot of it was just getting them lined up, if I can get those hoppers to all work at once I think this will be one of my favorites, I'm a fan of simplicity sometimes.
Hi, Need help. My Ferris wheel moves intermittently. What can i do to make it move like yours.
I think mine was a bit jerky at times (it's been a minute 😂), someone mentioned at one point buying a slightly smaller o-ring that would be tighter...or maybe if you could figure out a way to make that one a bit sticky so it'll grab better. This is all based on me assuming that the drive belt for the Ferris wheel is slipping.
Cool little build
I thought so, I'm going to have to figure out why all the hoppers don't go at the same time, but I like the effect.
Hi Daniel it would be fun if you could do an assembly video of u gears lighthouse of Alexandria.
That looks pretty cool...I'll put it on the list!
This turned out really smart ,it's got a lot going for it .
Agreed, it wasn't overwhelming with pieces, but it did fill up the space.
😕
Working on the owl clock, and I am having a hard time getting those little orange things on the end of the rods. Any suggestions?
Maybe use a bit of blue tack to hold them on a scrap piece so you can apply better pressure?
@@Dbuilderguy great idea, thank you
Definitely getting this one. An amazing amount of detail. Really nice!
It really is! I like that it had all the details, but it wasn't just tons and tons of tiny little pieces.
I wished they have a spare i8 😅😅 it's too fragile
I've had that issue lots of times. 😂 I think everything is too fragile for me!
Thank you so much for sharing this step by step tutorial. This was my first book nook and I couldn't have done it without your help. It turned out so cute! I subscribed to your channel 😊
Glad it was helpful! If you like it, any of the rolife kits are nice, and there's a company called cutebee that has some that are a slightly different style, but they have some really cool details.
Thank you for the rec! I would like to try another one soon. This one was a bit hard to assemble for me because the pieces came together a bit harder, but I should get used to it if I try more
Well done! I really like how it turned out!!! TFS
Thanks so much! 😊 These are always fun, sometimes I worry they take too long though. 😂
Another nice one! I like the design of the ceiling light.
It does look pretty nice in the end, I sort of wish that center piece was acrylic so more light could get to the edges.
In the folding of book pages, if you score the bending lines with a dull knife or the back of a dinner knife, being careful to keep them straight, it makes folding a lot easier and a lot better looking. The goal is to create a crease, not a cut.
Someone gave me that tip on the following book nook I think and it's a great tip...it was a total game changer! Thanks for watching!
This turned out great! Fun build.
Agreed, it just all came together in the end.
Like the look of this one.
It's turning out really nice, I'm glad I picked it up!
Looking pretty nice!! I like all the little pieces!!
It's nice when they don't go crazy with them, this one seems to have a nice balance of enough quality pieces that it doesn't overwhelm you.
