I love endeavor because he spent years of his life trying to become number 1. Then when I fell onto his shoulders he didnt boast, or brag. He didn't get the big head with the other hero's beneath him. Dude calmly said "watch me" then gave the citizens something to watch as he saved them
There was a big shift in character between those two things though, the person who he used to be totally would have talked down to Almight and already had a big head about himself. Having the thing that he had been trying to get just dropped at his feet, on top of actually connecting with the guy who he'd been trying to beat, really began a change that makes him the character who calmly takes the mantle up and handles his business.

I think what really got me to like endeavor is not only did he take it in stride but he didn't feel he deserved it. I do think Endeavor is being redeemed in the story. He made a lot of bad mistakes in his past that will likely never go away, but he can still save his and his families future. That's what I think.

I am not his biggest fan but I think his redemption arc will turn a lot of people around because it shows him in a different light, in some ways damaged himself his family explained that he lost his mind during his pursuit to become number one so I’m beginning to wonder if he himself has some form of mental health issues. Like did he snap and did something break him turning him into such a horrible person now that the damage is done he can see what he has done and regrets it? I honestly can’t wait to see how it all turns out.

Finally being Number #1 forced Endeavor to reevaluate himself. He finally got what he wanted after so many years, but he feels no joy since it was just handed to him. It doesn't forgive his actions, but like it or not he's the best they have right now to protect everybody. As shown in his last fight, his kids still want him to live despite what he's done.
The final episode of this season really gave him some good character development. This song only adds to it, Endeavor is made for Metal songs about him. By far the greatest in my opinion, right up there with Million and Break my Body.
Honestly endeavors journey as a flawed person trying to atone for the shit he pulled and the people he neglected is a much more honest story and relatable for me then deku’s shonen journey
