This is one of the arcs in the series that breaks me and this part 1 to it, is just phenomenal. You and DizzyEight just killed it and the mixing of the track really adds the flare of the two different points of view while your vocals hold the conflicting and desperate emotions of the lyrics so deeply. This song speaks so deeply to me. This comment is late, and I know, but I’ve listened to this song at least 15 times, and it never gets old. The pain, the regret, the memories, the sadness, and everything put together, not only by the vocals, but by the word usage. This isn’t just a masterpiece, no, it’s a concept in of it as its own. This is a truly unique and beautiful song that broke all expectations that reached hundreds of thousands of people, and most all feel the same thing: the destroyed love of a father trying to make amends. This adds to the characters, and it feels like what horikoshi wrote this song for them because of how perfected it is. The second piece of Cross My Heart from a year ago, that was my favorite song(obviously, now this one is) and the previous piece of Don’t Break my Heart Again. These three tell such a heart wrenching, beautiful, and powerful story. You will forever have my support Nick. Stay safe man! This is one of the arcs in the series that breaks me and this part 1 to it, is just phenomenal. You and DizzyEight just killed it and the mixing of the track really adds the flare of the two different points of view while your vocals hold the conflicting and desperate emotions of the lyrics so deeply. The lyrics also are just, heartbreaking. I love it.
