At the last movement he went so fast to the probably one of the most flashy parts in this piece and I was like: oh he went in so fast how is he going to handle this. And then this performance happened
I am definitely enchanted by this performance. Really good.
    Congratulations

I can remember back in the 1970s when this concerto was roundly condemned. Here in the UK, Liszt's music was poorly known, and nobody appreciated the nuances and his genius. Thank goodness this concerto has become staple repertoire, it deserves to do so.

Mankind never lacks genius in every corners of the world. In music, young Daniel Kharitonov and Alexander Malofeev are examples. I kowtow these individuals and teachers who groom them. The culture, spirit and hard working make these wonderful gifts to our ears and souls. Thank You.

20.04.2017. Виктор СПб.

Even though I’m not too fond of Liszt’s music: too much circus, acrobatics … (or like Clara Shumman said about his sonata which Liszt dedicated to her husband (Shumman) but she refused to play: “merely a blind noise” … ) I have enjoyed this performance. It was not only impeccable technically but (most importantly) musically: delicate, mature touch, (lyricism) passionate, convincing … Russian pianists, what a special breed … You were born exactly the same day Teresa Carreño was born: Teresa Carreño (Venezuelan) was one of the best internationally renowned virtuoso pianists (composer, soprano, conductor, teacher, businesswoman, and excellent mother) of the second half of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th century (often referred to as the "Valkyrie of the Piano."). She performed for Abraham Lincoln and was a pupil of Frédéric Chopin, Charles Gounod, and Franz Liszt (voice with Rossini). For a woman (who was not European nor North American) to get as far as she got back then, it was, in itself, a great accomplishment … You would certainly have fun playing her waltzes; they are really tastefully (like Chopin) virtuosic, passionate, romantic, beautiful (you could dedicate them to the Venezuelan people, Venezuela is going through a very difficult time, its people are suffering ... ) Anyway, Bravo, Daniel!!

Bravo!!! Espero que aviat vinguis a Barcelona.
