Jimmy how come your instructor has a helmet and you don’t? Oh wait he’s the one who is flying with a student. LOL Great job Jimmy your coming right along. It has to be a thrill fling that close to the ground. 😅
Jimmy looks like he’s really enjoying the transition to helicopter flight looking around and stuff. It’s nice to see him just being able to take short jaunts
hmm non A&P installing a part,, Oh Jimmy..... spend a few yrs on them , the grease fitting on the lower coupling was a suggestion I made to the company way back. remember even installing something on both sides affects the W&B CofG sightly and an auditor (from Hell) will catch it... for the long funnel use a xmas paper tube cut and lay a piece of packing tape along it, and voila.. Oil drain tube, used on Astars transmissions too.. Guy up in Canada makes drain tools cheap.
There is quite a bit that I can do to an aircraft. That is provided that there an faa approved mechanic or repairman present. And observing and inspecting everything that I do.

Looks like you all are having fun. Is that a Craftsman torque wrench?
Now the word "FOD" should come into play daily at the hanger and pads!!
That's a pretty good instrument pack. Are all 300s like that?
Nope

What's the calibration history on the torque wrench Jimmy was using... FAA can be kind of a stickler on that topic....
