I have that gun.. im an amateur, but with this gun, I'm painting like a seasoned veteran... I don't have the truck edition, but I do have the 4600 with 1.3XL.. I spoke to a pro that advised me to get the 1.2XL for clear.. I LOVE IT!!!!!
That’s awesome. Thanks for sharing.
The trophy truck actually has a different air cap. The titania pro. The dvr clear cap is what comes with the regular 4600. I actually ordered the titania pro for the regular 4600. It fits right on there
Mikes from Jamaica thanks for the time out to ilight your skill to us that we could improve ourselves i am grateful job well done love it
Respect mi boss nuff love for the support
Hey Mario, we're glad you enjoyed the Sagola 4600. We were on holiday the last week, but these spray guns should be available on Amazon now that we are back!
Thanks for the info
@@mariopaintclass6091 where did you order the trophy truck edition from
@@jameshouston1767 the trophy truck is a limited edition currently unavailable. But if you check this site and leave your email they will notify you when its available… Spraygunner.com
@mariopaintclass6091 hello Mario I recently purchased the sagola 4600 1.2xl titanium - could you please give me some advice on adjustment setting for the fluid - I would really appreciate it -- from fluid fully close how many turn would you turn out - I spray sikken 2pack HS clear been using WS400 super nova 1.2 HD tip
@@mariopaintclass6091I remember watching your video and you was saying you set your sagola at 3/4 turn out how many turns out from close position did you turn the fluid out to 3/4 setting
As soon as mi hear "wah gwaan" mi pause the video and subscribe!
Respect
Nice demo !
Yeah this is my number one clear gun at work my x5500 comes in behind it but my first coat I spray at 29-30psi and then second coat is 24-25psi that's how I been stopping runs in the cold
Nice man thanks for sharing.
@Mario paint class Mario thank you for doing a review on the sagola 4600 / I am speeches keep up the great work your channel is reaching a lot of people / I am now convinced now that the 4600 sagola is a great gun
@@refinishtechnology2529 you’re welcome it definitely is a great gun I enjoyed it.
This gun comes in second place to me behind the new Iwata series 2 ws400 for clear.
@@jeremyoetken2094 can’t argue with you there
Master job 🙏
Thank you Teacher Mario Sir😁
Beautiful finish with the Sagola it really looks effortless while you were laying the clear, I'll have to get one one of these days but have just bought a new Sata 100B 1.8 for primer as my trusty old FLG5 is getting a bit tired.
I would love it if you could try the new WS400 Series2 in 1.3HD some time Mario, Iwata do hand out demo guns so it wouldn't cost you anything, I absolutely love mine but have been struggling to get a wet first coat down when using UHS clears so got a 1.4HD for it which has helped, this is not a fast gun like the Sagola but man it puts it on really flat👌
Thanks Mario👍John UK.
Teacher Mario sir😄 I like that. Thanks John it’s an amazing gun you should definitely try it. I can’t wait to try the new WS it won’t be long.
Well you are my teacher so I'm trying to be on my best behaviour😅
Yeah I will try and get a Sagola soon but the Sata wasn't cheap and should be here tomorrow, looking forward to your thoughts on the new WS Mario👍
Sagola made a good copy for Devilbiss Prolite which is 15 years old model!
Except it is a Devilbiss prolite on steroids
no really its a superior gun !
Kenapa kok tidak pakai yang nozzle 1,3xl pak??
I heard you say the temps outside were in the 40's what was the temp in the booth?? Thanks and keep up the great work and keep the videos coming!!!!
While the booth is a great help in the cold the only time we can use the heat is while flashing or baking. Thanks for watching
Hi Mario- dialling in from Australia. I have the same gun. Just asking for your feedback on choice of Titania 1.2 tip vs using the 1.3 tip ( i have both tips) and have my 2 x Mercedes W126 i own to do full respray's on at home in my double garage converted to a spray booth. I have a serious compressor set up with 300litres of compressed air & pro filtration system to work with.
I do have a Devilbiss Prolite with various size tips as well, but want to focus on using the Sagola for a glossy flat finish as these old mercs are my keepers. The 88 560SEC coupe is 040 black (non metalic) and the 560SEL is 904 midnight blue (non metalic dark blue).
Appeciate your feedback as i am just a DIY home enthusiast who is now getting serious about painting to a high standard - thanks
For some reason I’m just seeing your comment, sorry for the late reply. I personally would always go with the 1.2. Titania tip. It’s going to give you the glossy flat finish you’re looking for every time.
Definitely looking at picking one of these up! But I am curious, I've heard a lot of people use LVLP guns for clear. Do you have a preference?
I honestly don’t use LVLP guns sorry
The only reason to use a lvlp gun is if you are limited in airflow due to smaller compressor. Or possibly a beginner who doesn't favor a fast application gun.
Should i get the Xtreme or the new 4600 for clear? I can't decide..😅
@@reyjr3608 The new 4600😎
@@mariopaintclass6091 may I ask, with what cap? And size..

Would you rate that better than the dv1 that Brian uses from paint society
I’ve used the DV1 multiple times and the feeling is completely different I definitely favor the sagola.
@Mario paint class thanks love your classes together with paint society you guys do awesome work I have learned alot
@@samvish6363 Glad to hear it👍 thanks for your support
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Is it good for base with that 1.2 tip
Yes sir
Hey, I’m doing a full paint job. I’m spraying in a big tent, I was able to base but not clear because it getting late and bugs. Can I just clear over it in the morning? Almost I saw a tiger stripe on the roof, when I clear will it be noticeable?
Depending on your paint brand you can 16 hours max. If you have to take longer just give it a slight scuff with a scuff pad re base and you’re good to go. And yes you most likely going to see the stripe even more once you’re done. What color is it?
You technically could wait up to 24 hours but i just don’t trust the idea
@@mariopaintclass6091 red
@@mariopaintclass6091 I didn’t really have good lighting today to see my passes but when I double checked my work I saw one streak.
@@Jason-zr6il okay with that color it won’t be a big deal, but if you want tobe thorough just re base.
how much cfm that spray gun use
18 to 20 cfm
@Mario paint class I don't think it uses that much cfm. Sagola claims 315 lpm = 11cfm @ 2 to 2.2bar pressure
