Kollengode, a small hamlet in the District of Palakkad in Kerala known for its lush green large stretch of paddy fields, mango farms and palmyra trees . It is one of the very few places in Kerala to have such a large stretch of paddy fields.
In this video we are going to explore Chinganchira Temple in Kollengode, a temple well known for movie shootings and unique rituals. The main attraction of this place is the multiple banyan trees with its canopy that spreads to a wide area and the background view of Nelliyampathy hills. The deity is known as karuppuswamy.

One of my most beautiful memories is an evening walk from Vadavannur to Kollengode through the paddy fields after harvest during a summer vacation. The beauty is unparalleled with the hills in the background, setting orange sun and the old steam engine chugging in the middle of the fields. Please do a video on Vadavannur once. :)
