    I totally agree with you Rosie, they should let you keep the damaged items and send you a brand new lot. It's not like they can resell the items you return to them so why on earth do they want them back??? I think it's all a scam hoping you won't want to go to the trouble of returning them. I know for certain i definitely won't ever buy from Cult Beauty if this is how they treat their customers! Thank you so much for sharing this and making us aware of their absolutely disgusting customer service!!

    UNBELIEVABLE! I would’ve been LIVID!! That’s completely unacceptable - and to top it off, poor customer service😡. “20% refund for the damage items.” My ass!!!
    Rosie….Don’t even waste your time with shit companies like this - just contact your bank to dispute payment and then they’ll have to deal with them. Works EVERY TIME!!!!

    Omg Rosie that's absolutely terrible. I will never shop with them after seeing this. You should do a tiktok and tag them in it. They should give you a full refund and let you keep what you already have. Shocking ❤️❤️❤️

    Ah no. This is v bad. I agree with the comment that I think the courier repackaged it after it being damaged in a box. I would expect Cult Beauty to arrange a courier to come and collect it and £30 compensation. They should also do an investigation with the courier as to why it turned up like that.

    I've never shopped with them and I don't think I'd bother now at all... That's awful!
    I would of expected the gift purchase to be an apology thing on top of a full refund. Awful.
    Plastic bag? Really? Wth... They're a big brand - why would they think that's acceptable? Especially with breakables 🤯
    Absolutely awful ... Hope it gets dealt with sooner rather than later for you Rosie. As you said £188 is not spare change ... Smh

    Fair compensation would be to give you full refund and let you keep what you already received and give you 20% discount of your next order. Obviously they should also send apologies and ensure this doesn’t happen again.

    Hi that’s shocking. I received my cult beauty today. I also purchased for the GWP. Mine came to Ireland here in a large cardboard box with plenty of brown paper packaging. They were all perfect, incl perfum. Last year I had ordered an advent calendar from lookfantastic and one from glossybox and I got the lookfantastic one and then glossybox sent me another lookfantastic one. Both as you know are their sister companies. I got onto them through Facebook messenger and in the end they sent me out the glossybox one and told me to keep the spare lookfantastic one as they had made a mistake. It did take a few days to sort it out though as each time I asked how the situation was going I had to re tell them my account name etc etc. is nearly try them again maybe in a different forum as I wouldn’t be sending it back unless they paid for the posting. Really annoying to get that service. They have plenty of a mark up to be able to fix this. Let us know how you got on xx

    My experience with Cult Beauty bad too, made an order £150 , a year ago. They left the delivery on doorstep. I was out . Someone stole it 😢 , contacted Cult Beauty, they said order was delivered with a picture on the doorstep. Case closed 🤬🤬🤬. Never ever will order from them again

    cult beauty lookfantasic and glossybox are all owned by the same company they all have shocking customer service. I bought look fantastics £9.99 for the year postage and they revoked it because "i order too much" I've not shopped there since, and I refuse to give that company my money including cult beauty I shop at allbeauty now they are amazing

    Hi Rosie, that order is appalling you should report them to Trading Standards telling them of dealings with them last year an again. I really hope someone gets in touch with you in 3-5 days an give them he’ll tell them you want your p an p paid an you expect another GWP if you do reorder off them, gosh I’m fizzin for you.     These big companies think they are untouchable. The shit treatment towards its customers is not acceptable. It’s so stressful when these things happen and I think they think customers will just not bother to complain or put up with the bull they come out with because it’s so much hassle.     Hi Rosie. I’m so sorry your order is ruined. They should let you keep the goodie bag at the very least. Have you return the damaged order with free p&p and send a new order next day complete with another goodie bag. ❤

    If you look on cult beauty trust pilot , they are a few 1star review over the last week about deliveries and missing stuff , 2 people saying a Charlotte tilbery advent calendar that was empty .

    I had almost the exact experience!! My order turned up 2 days later (next day delivery.... 🙄). The box was torn to shreds and the items inside were soaked. Evri apologised about the wet parcel and said they would refund cult beauty. Contacted cult beauty and they had the cheek to offer a £5 credit!
    Cult beauty will claim compensation for these and they're mugging customers off with sub par refunds.

    It looks like your original parcel box got damaged (probably wet) and Evri have repackaged them (they usually use those blue bags in these cases). Cult beauty may or may not have been aware of that but they are absolutely obliged to offer you replacements or refunds for each damage and missing item. If is actually cheaper for them to simply you with replacements. That is totally unacceptable. You need to send them this video!

    Oh wow Rosie that’s fucking shocking!! 😮 I’d be raging too, What a disgrace!!
    Looks to me as if it was originally sent in a box which has been soaked through to the actual items in the box and either CB or their courier took out the contents and just bunged them in a bag.😐
    And to answer your question no I don’t really shop there at all, I mostly use The Ordinary and Korean skincare and get them elsewhere so I don’t know what they’re like.
    Didn’t you say they sent you an email saying your parcel was damaged? So they knew it was so they should know that it didn’t arrive in good nick🤔
    Tell them you’re gonna report them to trading standards and see what they say to that!

    I have never had any issues with Cult Beauty like this. Last time I ordered mine came in a big box. The problem is lots of people are scamming companies so It wrecks it for us genuine people!! I would just get your full refund and postage refund for sending back!

    Oh Rosie ! That’s awful ! No way should you pay that amount of money and receive goods in such bad condition. Don’t tell me you have to pay for the postage and packing to send it back to them? They should provide you with a pre paid postage label.
    Honestly I’m Cross for you !!
    Anyway, at least you know now never to order from them Again.
    I love your videos. You are so positive and I love how you promote body confidence. I’ve been struggling with that issue all my life.

    They're the worst! 20% discount is always their first go to, no matter how expensive the items are! Then once the damaged items are returned it takes two weeks to get a replacement dispatched or a refund 🙄. It does look like the box has been damaged and the courier has put all the products in a bag

    Looks like your original box got wet & the delivery company transferred it to the bag. I've had this before. Had to send it all back, and then I missed out on the GWP & discount code. So don't keep it, as it's not acceptable

    Hi Roise . I'm sorry about your below par customer service. If it were me I'd expect the minimum standard of a full refund. But because they have been arsine I would want the original order fulfilled a full refund, no sending anything back, and an apology. As they have wasted your time and you now have potentially got to go and do your Christmas shopping again. Xx

    Omg that’s awful, your so right, we end up sending more money than we would have even bothered with without the gwp. I haven’t bought anything from them but I could write a novel on the ongoing troubles I have had with Pat McGrath so I literally screamed with joy when I got an email that cult beauty is going to sell Pat McGrath, which sounds like I’m not going to be getting any better 😢 they should do something about this, what can we all do to change it? Shall we bombard them with complaints on socials so they listen? ❤❤❤

    Feel your pain girl. I order £200 worth off makeup from another big retailer here and all off my stuff came without protection, they delayed my order and failed to tell me an item in stock wasn’t going to be sent to me but instead a partial refund will be given. I had to wait days for that to get back in my bank.
    Oh and the bronze I got was completely mashed no bubble wrap on anything and the gift bag had a smashed Laura Mercier blush absolutely destroyed everything. They didn’t even send me out another one.
    They only sent the bronze but again that stupid thing came smashed. I couldn’t be bothered going through that long winded process again plus they lay the complaint part awkwardly so you won’t ask for a refund or the item to be sent out again. Proper cheeky.

      Its silly how they only allowed you to put one picture up. You should be able to upload more or send them a video so they can see the damage properly.
      Ironing when i was on my way home today i sore a delivery guy holding a bunch of parcels. And that same blue colour bag was tucked under his arm.
      I reckon they've ran out of boxes/ packing stuff so their just shipping them off in bags and hoping for the best. Either that or they have some new eco system thing going on.

    What a load or rubbish. They're literally denying you your basic consumer rights. Use the words 'not fit for purpose' and 'not of satisfactory quality' and demand a full refund which you are entitled to. You don't have to return the goods at your expense and they certainly don't get to inspect them. If they say no, tell them you want a 'letter of deadlock'. They rely on you not knowing your rights just like GlossyBox and those other companies do. Show them you do and they give up pretty quick.

      @@RosiePinkRose yep, I had the same with Glossybox when I tried to cancel and they'd removed the button to do it. Funnily enough the words 'letter before action' got it cancelled immediately (that's what you send before taking them to small claims court which takes less time than arguing with them).

    Totally unacceptable! These products have been left out in the rain somewhere and then quickly packaged into a plastic bag! And I would suspect outside in the rain outside one of Cult Beauty’s warehouses! Please mention consumer act 75 and that you will be going too the ombudsman regarding this serious issue??? I suspect you will receive all new items exactly what they should have confirmed with you Rosie 3 days ago. Xxxxxxxxxx

    I’m so shocked by how terrible this has come! I have shopped multiple times on cult (mainly stuff I can’t get on BB or if cult have an offer on) and my items have never come damaged before. From memory, cult beauty stuff usually comes in a box (I haven’t ordered for a while) so I don’t understand why yours came in a bag

    I’m gutted for you!! I run a small business and if an item turns up damaged I ask for a quick photo and then replace the whole order asap, no questions, no need to send back the original. I would 100% expect that to be the outcome for you.
    On another note, I recently received an order from Feelunique and the box was completely damaged, open etc so told them that 2 of the advent calendars were missing, they asked for pics and a couple of days later 2 more new ones turned up. Exceptional customer service imo… I know that doesn’t help you though 😢

    This is shocking and that your friend had problems too. If you didn't get it the next day that means they knew the products were damaged before packaging.... I've never used cult beauty before and was thinking of ordering from them. They're not getting my business now :(

    This is just so tragic. There is no other word to describe it, unless you add a swear word between "so" and "tragic". I have never had an issue ordering from them before but my orders, from what I remember, have always come in a box. I don't understand why they would even try and send it in a bag and think it's going to be ok. They should let you keep all of this stuff and resend you a brand new order x

Previous orders came in boxes too, my friend also received hers in a box and I’ve done a bit of digging and lots and lots of people are also complaining about receiving orders in these bags and damaged goods ☹️ I’ve written a pretty good email but can’t find an address to send it to annoyingly, it all seems to be automated platforms

I would mention once more that this unfortunate situation is not a one off affair and that the exact same thing happened too your friend. They were also under contract too deliver your paid items on the next day delivery service which they had advertised on their site and also did not adhere too!     Cult Beauty customer service is an absolute disgrace.
    They should send it all out to you again. Similar sort of thing happened to me with a look fantastic advent calendar and they didn’t ask for anything back, but apologised and sent another out which arrived the next day.

    I would be bloody fuming!!!!
    I think an acceptable response would be..... Firstly a massive apology, keep the original order, next day delivery of new order including a new gift with purchace, refund of postage and 20% discount at the very least.
    These companies get too big for their boots and forget who got them where they are....their loyal customers!!!!
    I hate the fact that these days there doesn't appear to be much in the way of good customer service anymore and what angers me the most is the majority of companies don't have contact number to physically speak to someone, it's all online chat and that's hard work in itself. It's stressful for the customer.
    What happened to the saying.....the customer is always right???? That went out the window along time ago. Companies used to fight for our custom but now their attitude is that they couldn't care less if we shopped somewhere else!!!! Xx

    Never ever going to order from them and I'd go to trade and standards and complain because they can't get away with this it's absolutely disgusting xx they should refund you, and send you the products free of charge and they should bloody refund you for your post and packaging xx

    Cult Beauty are AWFUL! There's a person that's sole job is to contact people by email if they give them a negative review. She offers you some compensation on the provision you take your negative review down. Unbelievable. Asos are now going down the drain, too. I pay the annual fee for Next Day Delivery and ive waited up to a week for things lately. Asos customer service is also awful, all chats and no number. No accountability. There's definitely a gap in the market right now. They SHOULD be refunding you or sending out the items again, especially as you sent a picture. My faceoil had leaked all over the small box they sent it in. Claim the money back through your bank. 🥰

      I thought this at first, but my friend received her package in the same blue bag. I then did a bit of digging and lots of people are complaining about receiving their items in a bag and items being damaged- super frustrating 😩🧡

    I think what happened is that the courier company got your box soaked, and then they just chucked it into this random bag and delivered it anyways, the company should defo fully refund you and get it back from the courier company too

      I thought this at first too, but my friend also received her order in the exact same blue bag, and I’ve done some digging since and lots of people have received their items in this same bag and have also received damaged items ☹️ it’s so hard to get in touch with a real person there too, super frustrating 💚

      I also think the problem is with the courier. Cult beauty always uses boxes, no bags. The courier probably ruined a complete lot of packages and changed them into the blue bags.

    This is really bad and how they’ve dealt with it is appalling. My experience of cult beauty has been really positive but I’ve only ever received boxed items from them and it’s all arrived fine. So I’ve not had the need to speak to customer service. This is going to make me think twice because they’re not cheap to shop with.

    I once ordered from cult beauty and they sent me someone else's order, they said I could keep the items that were wrong and then they refunded me for my original order. Second time I ordered for the gift in purchase and the gift in purchase one of the items was missing. Third time I ordered for the gift in purchase and later got an email saying sorry they had run out of the gift in purchase so I didn't get it at all 🙈

Ordered this morning and they sent an email this afternoon saying royal mail will deliver on Sunday which will have me shook because I ain't never seen no Royal Mail people delivering on a Sunday over here 🙈

    It must be that Omorovicza mist which has leaked? Why would they send that stuff in a plastic bag? All my orders have been fine thankfully and when there has been a problem (quite rarely) they have corrected it . So sorry for you, I need to watch the whole video, this is like some sort of a horror story! It s a lot of money you have to spend in order to get the goodiebag so it s always gut wrenching to wait it. And if an item is missing they want a picture of it and it s really stupid. I always fear that the goodiebag is missing (once it was ) too. I think you should at least be able to keep everything and get full refund for all your own items,so you can reorder them when a new goodiebag launches?

    Like you Rosie I'd be fuming too. This is not acceptable and you need to speak to someone in management to get it dealt with to your satisfaction. Make sure you take lots of photos and once you've had your refund and your happy (say that lightly) enough with the outcome, then post the photos on Instagram and tag them in it...just make them aware of how much of a state the products arrived and how upsetting it's been for you...I wouldn't let this lye until it was dealt with to my satisfaction... just keep on at them. Good luck and I hope you get some sort of compensation for the damaged goods xx
