I love how kev will change the motor to fit the pinion instead of getting a new pinion, probably my favorite thing he does just because it's so cost innefective.

You guys need to try a hobby grade land rc. 60mph 6S bashers aren’t a joke compared to old stuff!
6s is way too much! everytime i try this power, i had to buy new bearings every few runs. now i run 4s for months, no issues and almost the same fun!

I have the 65 hoonigan mustang. It suck out of the box also. New motor, etc and servo now the thing is a rocket. I might buy it and keep it as a shelf queen. Thanks for the honest reviews Kevin.

I personally think the servo wasn't actually very slow, maybe it's because I'm used to driving old Tamiya cars with 20 dollar servos in them but it really wasn't that slow, great video Kev!

Truck looks good to me ! Shame it’s a bit slow on the standard motor. Can’t beat Redfin models. Been there a few times and I’ve made a purchase every time. Arrma senton 3s , Team Associated Rival MT10 and most recently a Team associated Rival MT28. Something else coming soon for FamJam

A fun/strong/cheap car is the kyosho fazer mk2. Some come with drift tires like the supra or mustang. They come with transmitter. You only need a 2s lipo

Any chance you have an idea on why I installed a brand new futaba receiver and it after I plugged it in on my maxx it paired and had steering but while trying to bind I couldn't get reverse to work. And now I have nothing.. did I fry the receiver? After hours of trying to install this an a max 8 plus vitavon bellcrank servomount and push arms for it not to work I'm ready to sell it all

Yeah, I mentioned that too. Larger tires less revolutions to cover the same distance. I also mentioned he should take the max rpm of the motor, calculate the gear ratios to the wheels and see if the thing can even DO 100 mph. Maybe his current set up can do 100 miles, but not in an hour.

I recently converted my Raminator to brushless but the servos cant handle it. I try to turn at speed it just keeps going straight. Do you still recommend the 75kg servos or have you gone even more powerful? Thanks!
