its crazy that distance makes this game feel like mc 2.0
Distant horizons is the mod it uses LOD's which is the stuff all open world games uses by not fully rendering the far objects but replacing them with low or just plain colors of blocks and such
@@Hikari_Desu0its so sad that the actual game devs at Minecraft didn't implement LODs despite such beautiful results they could have gotten
@@TragicGFuelMC is now owned by MS. Money hungry corpo. I'd say stop looking at minecraft the way you did before it was MS owned. Innovation and risk is the last thing they'd want to do with MC.
I'd also say to pay attention to the minecraft clones that build upon the base and try to innovate. Colored lighting, built in lods, etc. there's a lot of solo devs on yt making amazing and innovative clones that would surpass vanilla MC if they were brought to scale.

I like the vibe of distant horizons. Like you have so much to explore, but it's seems so distant, but so interesting. But your house is there, and it's confortable, and you're afraid of the montais, the infinity beyond the horizons. That's it ultil some day, you decide to get yourself there, and explore it, and more you walk, more distant it seems, like a big journey with the giant world, and your are so small and helpless next to montains and plains

When i was a kid i used to have a photo camera. I took pictures of everything i saw that was at least a little beautiful, i had tons of photos of random things, the sky, nature, even the ground sometimes, i would do anything to get that feeling back, that life without worries...

Get a camera. Trust me - you will enjoy it.
You can still have that feeling. Pick up a camera and go. Photography is a beautiful thing, it forces you to find beauty in the world and change your perception on what's around you.

The mountain climbing part around 22 or 23 minutes blows my mind. The sense of scale, the way midnight slowly rolls into morning, just feels so accurate and surreal to experience through a screen. It felt like they were scaling that peak forever, but the photos we got at the top are geniunely artful. Unbelievable how this game makes me want to explore so badly, I wish I could live there 🥺
Hearing Shuniji play as the first light of dawn appears at 23:37 makes me so strongly want the third C418 album that we never got.
it still could happen, we don't know whats up exactly with it all, since c418 hasn't updated us in almost 3 years, but I have hope and pray for the day it releases.

I haven't played Minecraft for years, but watching this made me see how much it has changed and in the ways it hasn't. It's very much like seeing a childhood friend that I've lost contact with, but finally meeting them again.
This makes me nostalgic in a way I can't explain, and I feel like I've watched this game grow over the years.
See, I can't wait to get a better computer. This is the stuff I want to do on my channel.
I want to give people pure dopamine from the beauty of a game that allows for *anything* to happen. I want to show everyone the beauty I see as well, and I want to be able to enhance what I already have with shaders alone into a full-on world to play in.
Hardcore Modded Survival, with Distant Horizons and other shaders, where I try to beat the Ender Dragon for the first time in "true" survival.
All that stuff aside, this is just amazing. I love this so very much. Keep it up, and this is gonna get you far.
I'd at least try to run the mods. Iris and distant horizons are literally meant to boost your performance like 10 fold and still get these amazing views. Just download them and try running it. Even with a weak PC it might work believe me

It just seems like random minecraft footages but this video was incredible. Minecraft has become a whole new world. You were no longer living in a small house in the middle of nowhere, but within a mysterious and waiting to be explored world, and I think it's awesome. It was a story by itslef. I cannot wait what's going to happen for the minecraft community.

Now we need a global survival server with 1millon people playing simultaneously
There are mods currently being developed that aim to maximize the number of concurrent players on a server but they allow up to nearly a thousand players. Which is a lot. Puts a million into perspective

Game is way too dead for that to be possible, players counts are only dropping lower and lower. Now it’s just big servers like hypixel and p2w smaller servers filled with children who pay money for overpowered crap

This was an incredible journey. This also inspired me to try this out for myself with the mod list. Something about doing street/nature level photography just sounds right with something like Minecraft.
The in-game fog adds another layer of ambience. Man, there are some truly talented people out there....
It's crazy how a feature like this the mod creator made gives back that nostolgic yet mysterious feel you once had all those years ago in minecraft when exploring. I feel like I'm back in 2011 all over again when I first booted up MC but in a larger scale no pun intended.

I wanted to let you know that I genuinely feel like it was the best Minecraft video I've seen EVER in my life. I paid attention to everything, to all incredible details, the graphics, the animals, the custom generation. It was just pure beauty. And the fact that you can use a camera with films and even develop them just got me completely, since I'm a photographer myself. It was a beautiful video with a beautiful story. You have an amazing taste, not only when it comes to picking the right mods and graphics, but also picking the right frame 🤌🔥
