I know a lot of fans love it, as I said in the video i made about Fugazi, but I've always struggled with it mostly compared to their other records.

Fish albums are the top four. Period. AND the Fifth is Seasons end with leftovers of CAS. Marillion Is Fish. The resto Is a different band.

For me, my Marillion favorites are all from 1989 onwards. They became a different band with H and I much prefer that different band.

I concluded many years ago, they probably should have just changed the name of the band, but EMI likely woudn't have allowed it per their contract.

@@AllMediaReviewsPodcast Hogarth himself suggested a name change, but like you said, they still owed EMI albums as Marillion.

thanks for the comment. Many fans feel the same way. It's often splitting hairs, so I'm not sure how much it means other than just for fun, lol.

the WORST Marillion album is Anoraknophobia (2001)..
And their worst songs are Quartz and
Cover my eyes (pain and heaven)..
      Is my opinion..

    • @gonzalobalay3586

The 4 with Fish are the best 4 of Marillion..
And Brave the best with Hogarth..

I don' care for the late 90's/early 2000's albums...i find them bland, lifeless and uninspired (albums after This Strange Engine).

I lost interest in checking your ranking as soon as you ranked 15th Fugazi and 11th Marillion debut album Script for a Jester's Tear. The rest of the Fish era is also very low ranked. This is very disrespectful for such a great band in their origins. Unfortunately in all these bunch of years with Hogarth they have lost identity, personality and authenticity, they have had only flashes with some great songs of the great band they were back in their origins. Even their Marillion logo has lost its identity since the second album in the Hoghart era.
