IIT Hyderabad has been attracting some of the most talented guys for 4-5 yrs, it actually crossed IIT Guwahati and is getting on par with Roorkee.
Location proved to be the gamechanger for IIT Hyderabad(Hyd being 2nd largest IT Hub after Bengaluru in India).Bhubhaneshwar, Indore also have been established along Hyderabad in 2008, but none of them reached this level.Location proved to be the vital factor.
It never crossed iit Guwahati...top 7 iits alaways in their place

Anyways, it clearly prove IITH is far ahead than IITG for btech. Of course, for mtech still IITG is better. AI closing rank of IITH is better than opening rank of IITG's Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

In 2016, even without proper Campus it stood at no.7... So definitely it will be on top once the campus is ready... By the way, is still Chemical Building used for all classes/purposes...

New iit should compete with themselves.. Many new iits also got established with hyderabad but they are not near to iit hyd. Hyderabad is better than old iits like dhanbad, varanasi

Every student who joins should be allotted 1 acre of land and and to create his own green space,... in 4 yrs I am sure they will come up with so creative ideas. The same can be allotted to subsequent batch students to helping /take over (final year) this way the complete campus can be made beautiful place to study, stay, educate our coming generations.
Yes and few points can be included for this activity in cgpa.

Nothing changed much for the students... Same mess, hostels, cafeteria and Chemical building for classes... Still 8 more years to go for its completion as scheduled...

IITs are Autonomous Institutes.. I don't think any effort from state governments for their development... Funds are from the Centre and development is by the research work done by the Professors and students.. Don't give credit to someone else...

Do we need to vacate hostel after sem end and vacations? Do we need to take our all luggage or they provide lockers for luggage. Asking as I would be a student from Mumbai very far and diff to carry luggage in flight
