Hii ashma, most probably you will get maitreyi or gargi girls Hostel.
For these year onwards, will mtech students get radiant cooling single room hostels pr they have to reside at kapila hostel only?
One new building is ready having 310 vacancies and besides that final year btech and Mtech are also leaving. Based on that first year Mtech should get radiant cooling single room hostels.

Mostly building are going to complete by this December like library, sports complex. The architecture of every building is unique. and talking about the admission, IITH is the fastest growing IIT. In new IITs, IITH should be the priority.

Electrical at IITH will be a good choice, In branch vs college, give priority to branch and At IITH, electrical branch is performing quite good.

As per the previous trends, btech first years got ramanujan hostel of double occupancy rooms. As per I am getting info, btech first year are going to shift in that new hostel. But It's solely depends on the hostel office.

First year btech students get double occupancy room. From Second year, they will get single occupancy room.

It depends on your guide, my friend get 15 days in every 3 months. I get around 12 days in every 6 months, #sad lyf 🥲

Officially, it is not allowed and you also going to fill a form for that as well before admission.

Most likely, In new hostel, 5th building will be alloted to you guys. It has not been given a name yet. And It does not matter, mostly all the hostel buildings are same only.

Yes It is worth it, The Electrical Department is the strongest Department in IITH, mostly old and renowned teachers are from Electrical Department only.

There is no branch named mechatronics, rather we have smart mobility branch for mtech peeps. And also robotics and is lab is there for mechanical peeps.

Its around 9 to 5, Mon to Fri. But For mtech, we only have classes approx 12 hours per week.

Just type the same on Google "IITH fee structure", and click on the first link. For mtech, it is around 60,000 per semester.

There is a 2km stretch between main gate and all acad buildings and hostels. The construction is going on in that stretch, maybe that's why.
