It's completely outside my usual goth/synth/rock genres that I enjoy but a good tune is a good tune! Probably why I also like Buddy Holly, Beach Boys, John Denver etc etc. Aside from the religion and Gorbachev, he was absolutely bang on the money with this song, it's probably even more relevant today than when it was written.
