He is adorable!!! So glad you have him in your lep and your hand on him!!! Oh did coyotes get Jasper's calf? So very sorry. Ruger is so pretty! Oh I hope she will let the calf nurse. The calf is so very sweet. He needs mom's milk ... Wow, good job! She is doing well being a farm Mom. That is good news, the calf is darling!
Hes adorable. Im glad they finally bonded its nice to see them together. Thats too bad about Jaspers calf. Funny, you should name mousses calf bullybull.
I was thinking that you were getting more bull calf's than heifer's. Shame something got Jaspers calf. Love the Highland breed. Good luck on the other girls. Hope we see some Heifer babys
We love watching your channel! You’ve played a big role in our highland cattle journey. We’re just about to bring our first cows to our farm. They will be confirmed before bringing them home. One of them is supposed to be ready to calf very soon. The owner sent me an email today that said... you may want to get ready for a calf! Exciting, but what do we need to do to get ‘ready for a calf”? Would love your wisdom on this as you’ve been doing this for a minute. Thanks for all the learning. Love watching your fold grow!
Thank you, and congratulations on getting your first cows! I would say to keep them in a pen where you can check on them a couple times of day if possible. There are things like calf pulling chains that you could get if you ever needed to assist with the birth. And then just be ready to assist if there is any problems
Hi I’m getting my first 2 Scottish Highland calf’s a bull and a heifer both are 6 months old I would like to keep them together for the winter but don’t want the heifer to accidentally get bred, do you keep your heifer and bull calf’s together after weaning? And for how long do you keep them together until you separate them? Would appreciate any advice

So cute! Look into getting a donkey, that’s what people use over here in australia for wild dogs and they are amazing at protecting the calves
